Chapter 4 - Goodbye to the [Status Screen]

Chapter 4 - Goodbye to the [Status Screen]

After finishing going over my [Skills] I learnt what [Techniques] actually means. [Techniques] are well techniques learnt and used to cultivate and experience growth. There are many kinds of [Techniques] out there which used different methods and resources while also considering the different anatomy of the multitude of races. Also turns out [Dungeons] don't start out with a cultivation [technique]. The most basic form of cultivation would be [Working Out] to increase you physical stats but since I can't really move that option is out the window. There is [Meditation] which can increase your mental stats but it seems like I would be pretty busy for a while to establish myself in this world and begin being well a [dungeon] which I need to start sooner or later. Good thing that all living things has two passive cultivations methods one by incorporating their energy pools into the three core aspects of being which is [Body], [Mind], and [Spirit] while the second is the natural refinement of time these three experience, like how bodies grow or when minds mature. Another flex seems like that [dungeons] have over everyone else that we gain an automatic [technique] when they develop a theme.

To explain a theme, one must know the three categories of [dungeons]. Yeah I know this got a little too complicated and most of you are probably already asking for the action to come already but if I have to go through aaaalllllll of this, so do you too. The three categories are elements, type, and theme. I already learnt the elements previously when I went over my [General Information] and for me it is Bog, Fungal, and Undeath. It is the significant aspects of their environment which they reproduce. The type is one can argue the shape the [dungeon] takes compared to the rest of their surroundings which includes fields (surface), unground and underwater (below), sky and mountainous (above) as examples. Themes are how the [dungeon] takes form, what it's whole design is based on. Some themes can fit into either one, multiple, or no types at all. Some examples that are more well famous and common would be labyrinths which has a many meandering paths, mazes which many overlapping routes with a high probability of puzzles and traps, and towers which multiple designated floors one must travel up and down. It did not explained how it influences cultivation but I have to assume the form influences being which limits how you can grow. Like for the tower, you can only grow one floor at a time or mazes grow with more people get caught by their traps or stumped by their puzzles.

Now almost done with my [Status Screen}, all is left is my [Titles] (can't believe it took four chapters). [System] can you be quick with it by just showing the descriptions?

[Hero Summoning Extra]

You were accidently summoned with the [Heroes] and brought this world.

- Gives status of [Otherworlder]

- Automatically join the [Hero Party]

I hope the [Otherworlder] does not bite me in back later because it seems it would separate me from others in this world in a fundamental way but lets just add this to the pile of 'worry about later'. Plus I wonder what being in the [Hero Party] means.

Reincarnator

You went the reincarnation process while maintaining a significant amount or more of your previous identity

- Buffs memory storage

- Strengthens self identity

- Boosts [Spiritual Awareness]

Sapient Dungeon

Your a sapient [dungeon] which is rare. Entities who don't know this will still have a vague understanding you are aware and has a will.

Master of Oneself

You gained an understanding that you are the true master of your being, body, mind, and spirit. (Since you are an entity usually governed by instincts and controlled/guided by a more conscious entity that instead gained control over your own destiny making you the [Dungeon Master] of yourself).

- Buffs growth

- Boosts perception inside of oneself

- Buffs [Mind Control Resistance] from outside influences

I'm starting to understand my starting situation in this world is much more generous compared not just to other [dungeons] but other people. Also I'm kinda liking all of the mental type buffs and resistances since I'm practically just a think lump of flesh in the middle of nowhere.

Talking about being a lump of flesh in the middle of nowhere, I can finally focus on what's happening since I'm done with my [Status Screen], yeh finally woo. That may have seem all over the place but I think that is as simple as it gets, it just took me so long since I had to read the description of all of it. As I look outside, nothing changes. Still a watery bog. It is light out and I don't think much time has past at all. Maybe a hour at most but the fog still cover the landscape including the sky so I can't even check the movement of the sun. As I look over my new home I notice a few more things that I had not before as in it is filled with life. There are frogs croaking in puddles, fish swimming in the water, and turtles 'sun'bathing on rocks. What is the most noticeable would be huge amount insects flying around in the air. Most of them are the vile vampires, mosquitos and a dragonfly fluttering around somewhere once in a while. The problem is this not just a bug hater's nightmare but some of them are huge. Like did I reincarnate in Australia instead of a fantasy world. Some of the mosquitos are the size of a human hand if you includes the legs, just a finger for the body which is not that much of a difference and the larger dragonflies are a size of a household cat. Damn. I know back on Earth when the oxygen levels were way much higher like around the time of the dinosaurs so does that mean there is more oxygen here or is it simply 'magic' for the explanation for everything.

Ignoring these monstrosities against nature I look out across the horizon, or at least what constitutes as a horizon due to the fog limiting the line of sight. What I notice is a tall outline at the edge. Is that a person? I did not think I would meet a native this fast, I barely have any domain, not really a proper [dungeon] if you can say so for yourself. Not even one form of defense. Am I in danger already. Maybe if I greet them and show I'm friendly will boost my chances of survival.

Heh, you over there. Hello. I'm over here. Heeellllllloooooo?

They are not even moved an inch. It's like they can't even hear me... Oh yeah I don't think I even have a voice. I been just yelling in my head. That's embarrassing, good thing no one can notice. But why is they still there. Isn't I'm in the middle of the wilderness, that's dangerous on Earth no less a fantasy world with monsters. I wish I can just go up there and see what they are doing... wait I already can do that, I'm an idiot. As my 'eyes' moved closer I start to see more detail of the figure until I notice it is no person.
