"Your skill is engraved in your soul. Once you're familiar with moving the mana around your body, try to send the mana deeper within yourself. You will find a certain mana flow that you can follow to use your skill. For now, try- what! A-a demon! What is a demon doing here?! Call the knights! This is prepost-"
Claus paused, then slowly swiveled to look at Emma, who averted her eyes, clasped her hands behind her back, and started blowing through her mouth in a bad attempt to whistle. Deep breaths, deep breaths-she wasn't worth it.
As some in the audience realized what was going on, looking at the 'demon' that seemed to be stationary with lifeless eyes, they burst into applause, amazed at the prowess of the girl who had conjured such a realistic illusion just moments after learning to use mana. 'As expected of the legendary heroes!' Their eyes seemed to say. In response, the attention-loving Emma grinned and put on a bit of a show, making her demon, who held the appearance of a zombie from the fantasy tales of earth, start to breakdance.
Watching all this unfold, a bead of sweat ran down Claus's face. It would certainly be a blow to his reputation to be known as the 'Knight who screamed for the help of the Knights', and Emma's show seemed to allow them to take their minds off of it. He allowed her to take the spotlight he usually tried to hog for himself to keep to herself for a while longer.
"Hey uncle, I reckon I can do what you did for them. Miia~ let big sis take care of you."
"I don't know about this, Em, there might be side effects if this isn't done by a professional…"
Emma then stuffed her hand into her pocket and pulled out the same hand immediately after, but with a parrot she had conjured sitting on her finger. Then she spoke, looking at the parrot
"Hmmm, I don't know, that guy look like a professional to you, little parrot?"
"Squawk! You mean the Knight who screamed for a Knight while pissing his pants? Don't think so. Squawk!"
"Ooh, didn't have to go that far. There you have it Mia~"
She then 'put away' the little parrot by stuffing her hand with the parrot back into her pocket, then looked at Claus before winking at him. The crowd seemed to have enjoyed the show, as they delivered yet another round of applause. Emma hopped behind Mia, clearly excited to use Mia as a guinea pig. The two were closer than most actual sisters were, and Emma probably also partly volunteered for Mia's sake, who felt uncomfortable with men she didn't know touching her.
"..."
"Em, we really should have gotten the guy to do it, I'm sure I'll be fine."
"Mia, can you try punching Evan with your full strength while thinking the exact same thoughts you're thinking right now?"
"Huh? Why me, what did I do?"
"Sure, I can, but why?"
Both ignored Evan's protests.

"Just trust me.”
To Emma's declaration, Mia shrugged and faced Evan, who didn't seem all that offended at being made a victim.
2 seconds later, Evan lay sprawling on the ground a full meter away, with Noah on his knees beside him.
"You killed him! My boy had a bright future ahead of him, he hadn't even lost his virginity, the poor bastard, and you…"
As Noah continued to prattle on, Emma and Mia ignored his antics.
"I was right! Mia, your mana was disappearing from inside your body when I touched you, I think you've naturally been using mana to make yourself stronger somehow!"
This prompted another wave of applause. At this point, the applause was starting to feel slightly degrading, as if the nobles were here to witness a zoo exhibit. Claus, however, was once again dumbfounded. What kind of monster had the talent to use mana reinforcement as a part of their daily life without even knowing they were doing it? Both the blonde-haired one, who had grasped the use of mana in minutes, and the black-haired one, who had been instinctively been using mana since her arrival, were unfathomable.
Claus was starting to think it was unfortunate that he was not the Commander of the Royal Guard instead, who would teach the real heroes when they were summoned once the mana concentration on the continent was high enough again for another summoning to be possible. If even the fakes were this amazing, would the real ones resemble gods?
Five minutes later, Emma and Mia were in position to simulate the mana of Noah and Evan at the same time.
As Emma stood behind Evan and Mia behind Noah, both sent a sliver of mana to the boy in front of them.
"No offense Mia, but I don't think you know what you're doing"
"Same to you, Emma, I feel the mana slithering around but I don't get what's supposed to happen"
It was Claus's time to redeem himself.
"Ladies, if I may."
The girl removed their palms, and Claus placed a palm on both boys' backs, then sent his mana in. If sending mana into the girl felt like dyeing a lake with a bucket of dye, this time it felt like he was using a cup of dye in an ocean. He thought he had found two men to relate to, who had average talent, but they still had an absurd mana pool.
In the end, the two boys did not figure out what they were supposed to be doing. Though they were told that this was normal and that the girls were just abnormal, they couldn't stand being left behind so effortlessly and took every opportunity to glare at the two girls for the rest of the day.
Following lunch, Princess Elara led them to a ballroom that looked every bit like the ballroom in movies, with smooth marble flooring and extravagant designs that kept to the white and gold color scheme they had seen so far. She instructed the four that here they would be taught noble etiquette for their dinner party that night, and once they learnt noble etiquette, that they could explore the capital. Having never traveled to another world before, this was something they were quite excited about.
An hour later, they found themselves in a a grand white carriage with a gold logo of a sword, apparently supposed to represent the Royal Knights.Princess Elara was surprised at how quickly the four had picked up noble mannerisms. It seemed that most commoners in their world possessed a knowledge of basic noble demeanour, which was somewhat surprising.
They were dropped off in what looked like a standard fantasy medieval alleyway, which quite excited them. Being slightly past noon, the danger that typically came with alleyways weren't present, and even if it was, their Princess Elara would neutralize the threat with her magic.
Even in their commoner outfit, they were too clean to blend in perfectly, but they were here as tourists, not to mimic the locals, and tourists always had their differences from the locals.
There really wasn't all that much to see. It was just hardworking men and women living their lives that none of the four had any intention of disturbing. After sampling the suspiciously delicious local cuisine that seemed to contain spices obtained from magical creatures, the four decided to head back to attend the dinner party that would begin soon.
Which was exhausting. It was just wedding offers and flowery words, but training was less tiring. For the following month, that was their life. Training in the mornings, noble practice or capital exploration so that they could familiarize themselves with the Eldoria Kingdom in the afternoons, and noble dinners at night.
