As the plumes of dust rose, large clouds of blood mist erupted outward along with them. Within moments, the visibility within the dome plummeted to near zero in the dense fog of blood. Obscured behind the plumes of dust, Noah concentrated charged blood mist and rapidly rotated the small oblong cloud he held in his palm to accelerate the electrical polarization process. Within moments, a lightning bolt the size of a forearm formed in his hand. Noah looked up at the dragon, only its luminescent purple eyes still visible to indicate its location. With the bright blue lightning bolt in his hands, he spread out his feet into a javelin-throwing stance, then tensed every single muscle in his body to its extreme.
Noah's back leg then pushed against the earth, and it compiled. It was as if the power of the planet itself lent itself to him in that one moment. His hand shot forward, blurring as it did with afterimages left in its wake. His body swiveled about his forward foot along with his arm, every fiber of muscle in his powerful body working overtime to add to the kinetic energy of the bolt. He turned his body, and pushed it forward at the apex of his throw. As the bolt left his hands, the bolt seemed to accelerate along its straight path like a comet, and struck the great dragon in the center of its snout with a great blue blinding burst of sparks and plasma!
But the bolt hurt only as much as the sting of an ant to the dragon, a minor nuisance.
As it reeled backwards, about to roar in fury, the true purpose of Noah’s bolt made itself clear.
From all around the dome, from every corner that the blood mist which had originated from the two slits on Noah’s back had spread to, lightning erupted and struck the dragon on its snout! For a full, excruciatingly long three seconds, hundreds of truly gargantuan lightning tendrils zig-zagged towards the dragon’s snout as if the wrath of the heavens had been unleashed on it. The thunderous claps and the continuous bolts of lightning drowned out all else in its fury, and even Noah was forced to manipulate a small amount of the blood that was gushing outwards from the Ripped Wings on his back to block his ears for fear of tinnitus. Needless to say, the dragon that had been turned into a lightning conductor rod by the bolt that had struck its snout did not get off easy.
An entire portion of its snout had simply melted off.
After three seconds of weathering the lightning storm, it unfurled its grand wings and took to the skies. This allowed the dragon to be separated from the ground, disconnecting the circuit that allowed for the electrocution of the dragon. The tendrils of blood stopped reaching out to him, and silence fell upon the dome.
The flapping of the dragon was all that could be heard. It was almost too silent. Coupled with the ultra-low visibility due to the thick fog of blood, an eerie atmosphere began to settle in. The dragon could not spot Noah even with mana detection, causing it to roar in frustration.
“Inferior coward! You dare continue to ru-!”
‘BOOM!’

Shockwaves rippled across the fog with an explosion of blue light!
Originating from a blue flash, a fierce impact landed on one of the wings of the dragon. The impact on the flight limb of the dragon did not puncture the dragon, but certainly, a charred, slightly melted mess was left on the spot where the impact had landed, and the dragon wobbled in its flight.
But as soon as the flash appeared, it vanished, leaving no trace of the owner of the impact. The dragon rapidly swiveled in the air to look around, but as it did, another impact struck the dragon right on the side of its jaw, flicking the already partially melted jaw that had been turning, back the way it had come!
And once again, no trace was left of the owner of the impact.
The enraged dragon roared!
“Petty tr-!”
Once again, another impact of bright blue, again to its semi-melted snout!
The dragon, who had allowed an attack literally right under its nose, was further enraged and prepared to use dragon breath. There were no external signs that dragon breath was about to be used. Only mana moved within the dragon to indicate it.
However, its enemy was one that could currently see the truth of all mana with its eye.
Another flashing blue impact to the bottom jaw forcefully shut the jaws of the dragon, canceling the dragon breath!
And then the attacks accelerated.
As the dragon attempted to fly to the other side of the dome, an attack landed on the same spot it had previously been attacked on the wing.
When the dragon attempted to immediately swivel in the air and bite the spot where it had been attacked, it bit only air. And then another blindingly blue, explosive attack struck its exposed belly.
When the dragon attempted to fly down, an explosive attack landed on its nape.
When a tail whip by the dragon was attempted, another explosive attack landed on its snout once more.
The attacks accelerated once more.
All around the dragon, snout, wing, belly, nape, wing, belly, snout, wing, the mysterious phantom rained down a hail of lightning-imbued attacks that rattled the ground in their intensity on the dragon several times per second, who could do nothing but accept the attacks again and again. As the dragon was struck, it constantly turned, flew higher, roared, tried everything in its arsenal, and even increased its output of mana reinforcement, but it could do nothing but take the damage.
Finally, the dragon landed on the ground, hoping to electrocute the attacker along with itself when the lightning tendrils rained down on it once more. Yet, no tendrils came!
Noah’s attacks had long since neutralized the charges on the dragon, though the dragon had not been aware of it.
And then, suddenly, the blood mist suddenly cleared up, as if it were never there. When the dragon, charred in spots all over its massive body, saw the blood mist clearing and the vague figure of Noah coming into view a fair distance away from itself, it roared, ecstatic to finally have its prey in its sights. But as the mist continued to clear, something else became very clear.
In all parts of the massive dome that touched the sky, blood-red lances with electricity vining around the spears littered every meter of the dome, all pointed towards the dragon!
The blood mist had coagulated into thousands of great lances!
With a large pushing gesture of Noah’s arm, the spears of execution converged upon the dragon like shooting stars of crimson as they descended unto the dragon.
