Chapter 6: First Battle

-----Sol's PoV-----

Right now I'm walking through the forest with Joseph-Oniisama and Sophia-Oneesama.

It has already been 15 minutes, I feel like being watched, something is diffinitely following us.

I turned to look at my brother and sister.

Joseph-Oniisama is humming while walking and looking around.

While Sophia-Oneesama is holding my hand while following Joseph-Oniisama.

"Oneesama, why are we even going into the Forest?"

I asked her in a meek tone.

"I am just keeping watch over our brother so that he won't do anything reckless, and I'm sorry that you were caught into this. I'll make you some sweets later when we get back."

Sophia-Oneesama's sweets are really delicious, even I have to admit that, so I just weakly nodded as a response.

After another 15 minutes, Joseph-Oniisama announced to us.

"Ok, it's already half an hour, so as promised, let go back home."

After he said that, I prepared to turn around.

But suddenly, something came out of the bushes.

It was something that looks like a tiger, but with blood red eyes filled with savagery, a characteristic of ferocious beasts.

Looking at it, I felt cold sweat running down my back.

I turned to look at Joseph-Oniisama and Sophia-Oneesama, their face is pale white.

The tiger then pounced at us, that caused them to snap back to reality.

Oniisama drew his sword as quickly as possible to stop the tiger, but the tiger just keeps rushing to Oniisama without even flinching, this caused Sophia-Oneesama to reflexively scream.

"Joseph-Niisama!!!"

Sophia-Oneesama's sudden scream  caught the tiger attention and caused it to switch target and pounced at her.

I then moved to intercept the tiger by summoning my whip from my《Weapon Space》.

Even if my whip is longer than me, I still manage to wield it perfectly because of my mastery, so I threw the whip forward at the tiger and did a whip crack.

The tiger then noticed me and pounced at me, while I ran deeper into the forest.

After getting 10 meters away from Oniisama and Oneesama, I stopped and faced the tiger.

The tiger was surprised by my sudden stop and stayed vigilant.

I equipped my gauntlets and leg blades,  changed my whip to my sword and blade, then I rushed straight to the tiger.

The tiger then pounced at me, but I managed to evade it by letting my weight focus on my back, then I stab the tiger's stomach with my blade.

{A/N: yes people, it's the MATRIX!!!}

However, the could not cut the tiger's mane.

The tiger then landed and turned around to pounce at me once more, but I evaded again by dodging to the right.

I repeatedly dodge the tiger's repeated charges for a 10 minutes.

My stamina is running low, and I already have a few bruises and cuts on my body because I failes to dodge a few attacks.

I cursed my weak body under my rough breath and decided to activate my secret weapon.

Activating the formation, a line of weapon starts to light up like starlight on the road to Oniisama and Oneesama and suddenly a bright beam made out of star energy shot right through the ferocious tiger and continued on.

I can even feel the emitted deadly energy when I'm not hit by it, it made cold sweat trickle down my back.

But something weird happend, at the end of the star energy beam, there's a tombstone that starts shining and glittering when hit by the energy beam.
