Chapter 3&4: Growing Up

Soon after my soul got back to my body, my mother gently picked me up and carried me around the house where I saw my father, siblings, house guards, and maids.

It seems the fact that my mother, Felicia, taking care of her baby, in this case me, is quite rare, because the house maids keeps offering to take care of me but keep getting shot down by my the same reply from mother.

"I can do it, and Sol is a quiet child."

I then later found out the name of my families, my father, Aaron, is the master of Dractum household, my elder brother, Joseph, is the first child and son, and my elder sister, Sophia, the second child and first daughter.

After that, I just do what babies do, sleep, eat, and excre- ehem, after what I think must be the second month, I start crawling, everyone who saw me crawling was surprised that I crawled so quickly.

After I managed to crawl, I tried going to the library, sadly, I can't read the words, so I had my mother read a book for me, she was surprised at first, but in the end she did read a book for me and I managed to read all the words in the third month.

After the fourth month, I managed to talk when my mom was carrying me, and I said

"Mom." My mom was surprised at first, but then she start hugging me and laughing happily, saying how she's proud of me, I get a warm feeling in my heart when she said that, nobody ever praised me like she did in my past life.

After she finished hugging and laughing, she brough me to father and my siblings to boast about it, then they asked me to call them, so I did it.

During my sixth month, I can walk and I start reading books in the house library, it's really large, and I spend most of my time there.

Ofcourse during those six months I didn't forget to practice the breathing techniques.

In the library, I learned more of the world, the ruling of this world goes like this:

The human kingdom is called Earlshide Kingdom in the continent of Orion in the East, demon kingdom is called Daemon Kingdom in the continent of Tora in the West, demi-human and elves are ruled by the Great Nature Council in the continent of Silva in the South, draconians and celestials are ruled by the Great Mountain Council in the continent of Sacra in the North, and the Central Continent with no ruler.

And because of the constant war and monster attacks, power is regarded highly.

After that, I found out more about magic, there is 7 basic elements, and 4 great elements.

The basic elements are made out of: Lightning, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Darkness and Light elements

While the great elements are made out of:

Space-Time, Life, Death/Necromancy, and Void element

The basic elements are learnable by all types of people as long as you can do magic, but if your affinity is weak, the most you can reach is beginner lvl 1, while the great elements are only learnable if you have the affinity with it and extremely rare.

There is two other special element, one that is only learnable by the people of the church called Divine element, not much is known about it. To learn it you need to join the church, have faith towards the gods, and a holy heart.

And another that is only learnable to the people on the road of carnage called Destruction element, once again, not much is known about it except for the holder of this element will bring carnage to where ever the holder go. It is said to only be learnable by people who has the heart that bring out destruction and death.

My mind keeps thinking of the Destruction element, worried and attracted to it at the same time.

To know one's affinity, you will be tested on the age of 8, because it is said to be the moment when their element will start being more active.

I can't wait to see what element I can hold.

After the first six months, I spent the rest of the year by spending time with my family, training and reading the books in the library, it wasn't so bad.

During my birthday, I asked for something to my father for the first time.

"Father, can you let me have some weapons to train in?"

my family was surprised that I wanted to train with weapons because of the fact that I like to read so much.

But then they calmed down and my father replied to my question.

"We will let you choose a weapon to train in as long as you becareful."

"Can I have one of each type of weapon?"

My family was once again surprised by my request, but they nonetheless, grant by request which I thanked them for.

The next day I was brought to see the weapons that's available in the household at the weapon storage area.

There, I can find weapons ranging from swords and sabers to bows and even scythes and knuckles.

I then proceed to have the guards help me bring one of each weapon to the garden, I looked for a suitable place out of range from mother's garden, the last time Joseph ruined mother's garden was the first time I see lifelessnes in his eyes.

After the guards put the weapons down and left, I made sure that nobody was around to see my training.

After confirming no one's around, I brought the weapons into my skill《Weapon Space》, so I then start training regimen.

I start by doing unarmed combat with the training dummy using gauntlets and foot blades, thanks to my past world knowledge, I can do martial arts from Tai Chi to Boxing. After exhausting myself, I rested for an hour and had lunch with my family before finishing my training with dual wielding sword and saber at the same time, it was quite hard because of how diffrent the weapons are, but I managed.

The next day I trained with throwing daggers and whips, I still question if it was my mother who left the whip in the storage. After perfecting my use over the whip and throwing daggers, I moved to archery.

In the archery range, I proceed to try shoot the arrows directly into the red dot. After I manage to do it 5 times consecutively, I start trying to do it while running with the same target in mind. After that I repeated it with double crossbows, the archery wasn't hard thanks to me having a high dectirity in the first place.

The training took half a day, so I went to have lunch with my family and spend the rest of the day with them, it's fun to have a family.

'after mastering all the weapons, I will spend more time with them'

I thought to myself. While proceeding to my room.

The rest of the week was used to get myself to master all the weapons available.

After the week ended, I shortened my training time so I can spend my time with my family and so I can read the rest of the books in the household library.

It's rather surprising, in my past life, I never really read books, or rather I don't have the chance to read any interesting books.
