[Single? No More!] - First Date Final Part - Dinner With A Difference

As the night went on, Val and Storm talked and laughed, enjoying each other's company. They exchanged a few things about their past life and learned more about each other.

While talking, Storm smiled at Val and thought, 'His conversation feels so natural, like this is not our first date but a regular evening filled with ordinary chatter between us. The mood, the atmosphere, his behaviors and actions, and the ease with which he talks to me make it feel natural! He makes me feel so relaxed! I can speak to him about anything I wish without hesitation. Everything he does feels... natural and without much effort. I feel safe and secure with him.

One of the things that I've noticed and like a lot is his humble nature. Even though he's a world-famous superhero, he has never shown a 'superiority complex' or arrogance anywhere in their interactions. I feel comfortable with his humbleness.

He has such an enraptured character! Even though I find him very attractive and good-looking, what has really fascinated me is his inner qualities, thoughts, mental caliber, outlook on everything, bold personality, and confidence!

When he told me his background, I'm sure no one, apart from Peggy, has ever gotten that honor of knowing. The very thought that he shares his deep, personal life story with me has put a happy smile on my face and made me realize one thing— that he's an incredible individual to have around, and I want him to be about more and more!

Everything is so chill, so calm, so cool... It just feels perfect. He is really making me feel so comfortable, especially when I thought the atmosphere might feel uncomfortable initially, but I was wrong... it's entirely the opposite... And he's also able to bring out the best in me. I feel happy and relaxed the way we've come along the night, as I have a genuine good connection with him.

It seems so unbelievable. A month ago, I wouldn't have believed that I would be having a date with the superhero, Starlance while laughing at each other's jokes and enjoying each other's presence! God! Life really has such a peculiar way of dealing with things and stuff. We never know what surprises and wonders lie ahead of us and the twists and turns of life.'

Meanwhile, Val took his glass and sipped from it while admiring the beauty before him, thinking, 'She is indeed beautiful. I cannot ignore that her charming white hair and blue eyes are dazzlingly beautiful and exotic! When I think of that, she is already in the top three most attractive women that have crossed my eyes. And, for a twenty-something-year-old, that's not a small feat, my dear Ororo.

She is beautiful, and her heart is warm and lovely. She is a very intelligent and mature woman with a sound mind and sharp wit. And her company is quite pleasant and enjoyable. I have enjoyed this whole evening very much with her, listening to and learning about her. It's crazy and weird... in a good way, of course... how the connection, the understanding, and the relationship we are slowly growing towards has progressed.

She's beautiful, adorable, and has a good personality. Plus, I can handle her easily. Not that it's a bad thing though, in fact, it's an advantage. Because, in reality, she's also easy to converse with, and I can hold a pleasant and funny conversation with her.

She makes this very easy, actually. I couldn't imagine doing this with any other woman. I had such a great, laid-back time chatting with her. No obligations and stress come with this. In other words, no hidden agendas. This is simple and unforced.

Plus, we understand each other well, right away from the first glance. It is a refreshing change. This feeling is natural!

The atmosphere, the conversation, the interactions, the jokes...everything feels natural as if it's all so pure. It feels very fresh like we have nothing else to prove to each other.

I guess... I don't mind dating her.

I can't believe that I just thought of that! I would've never thought that I would be thinking of dating somebody in such a chaotic universe with crazy things happening everywhere. I always thought my mind wouldn't accept anyone, let alone date anybody.

Maybe the time, the moment, or...,' He looked into her eyes and thought, 'The right person had to come for everything to change!'

After eating their food and dessert and spending the evening chatting, joking, and sharing some moments, the time came for both to bid their farewell.

Both of them stood outside the restaurant, and it was a slightly chilly evening with a bit of wind blowing.

Val was mesmerized by Storm's white hair, slightly lifted by the evening breeze, while her ruby-red lips formed a stunning smile.

"Thanks, Val!"

"For?"

"For a lovely time!" She replied, her beautiful smile blooming like a sunflower.

"Just a thank-you?" He asked, placing a finger beneath her chin.

"For now!" Storm replied as she bit her lip seductively.

"So, what now?" Val asked teasingly as he handed her his Chrono.

"Now..." Storm said as she took his Chrono and continued with a coy grin, "I give you my number."

After typing her number on his Chrono, she returned it to him and said, "I hope we go on another date, Val."

"I hope so, too." He replied in a gentle tone and asked, "You need a ride home?"

"No, it's alright," Storm replied as she shook her head.

* CRACKLE * CRACKLE *

The clouds above them crackled, and the winds howled as they flew more intensely.

"Bye, Val," Storm said as her eyes glowed white and she hovered in the air.

"Bye, Ororo," Val replied, looking up at her.

"Oh! By the way, the next date should be much more intimate, OK?" She asked him teasingly.

"Fine by me!" Val replied with a smirk, making Storm chuckle and say, "Keep in touch."

* WHOOSH *

Val nodded, saw Storm's back disappear into the sky, and couldn't help but think, 'Find love again, huh?'

He smiled and looked at the shops on the other side of the street, where he could see several paparazzi and people discreetly taking photos of him and Storm.

Val smirked and waved at the paps in hiding before zooming into the sky.
