[Single? No More!] - Consequences Of The Cosmic Influence

A little while later,

'Do you have a plan, Jean Grey?', the voice in her head asked her.

Jean grinned creepily while grabbing a few things from her room and replied, 'That I do.'

She zipped up her bag and hung it over her shoulder. Without hesitation, she ran toward the open window and jumped out of it.

Using her telekinesis to catch and cushion herself from the fall, she landed safely on the ground and said, 'You have opened my eyes. I need to thank you for it.'

'No need, child. You were just born with potential. And, that potential was buried under silly worries and dreams. You are back on the right track, now.'

'Hehe!', Jean snickered to herself and walked forward until she arrived at the school gates.

The stares and the gossip of those standing around the gates meant nothing to her. It's as if their words didn't even reach her ears for she was far too busy talking to the voice inside her head.

'Your words have made me realize that revenge and misery are the only way. It's the only language people understand.'

'Absolutely correct.'

She recalled all the times Emma had bullied her while grinning savagely. She recalled all the times Scott had broken her heart to chase Emma's skirt. He had broken her and made her fragile heart brittle with each stab he threw her way.

Jean exhaled slowly and said, 'I need to teach them a lesson. For that, I need your help.'

'And, you shall have it!'

'Good.', Jean said as she put on her sunglasses and exited the school gate.

When she arrived on the main road, she asked, 'Say, who are you? Are you God?'

'HAHAHA!', The voice suddenly burst into laughter as it answered, 'God? I am more than a mere God. You can call me PHOENIX.'

'Pleased to meet you, Ms. Pheonix.'

This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.

'Likewise.'

'What are you, Ms. Pheonix?', Jean asked while walking along the main road.

'I am something beyond your understanding. All you must know is that you have bound me using your telepathic powers.'

'Oh!', Jean stopped walking and said, 'Then, can you do one thing for me?'

'Sure. What is it?'

'Professor Xavier has a powerful machine called Cerebro. He can use it to find out the location of every person on this planet. I want you to do something that prevents him from finding me. I don't to risk him finding out my plan.'

'Okay. Noted.', Jean felt Phoenix's voice receding and so she decided to thank it.

'Thanks, Phoenix. You are a lifesaver!', she thought and felt happy when the Phoenix shared her feelings.

'You are welcome, Child and it's done. Nobody in this universe would know of your existence', It said.

Jean smiled creepily, turned to her right and lifted herself off the ground. She flew toward the school and hovered above it at some distance away.

She scanned the school until her eyes fell on Alex and Logan.

'That fucking bitch!', Jean shouted angrily and her eyes spit fire from them.

'What are you planning to do?'

Clenching her fists, Jean replied, 'That bitch thinks she's smart but she isn't. She's a dumb whore. I know her real purpose of coming to this school is her sister, Adrienne Frost. I overhead her one day murmuring to herself in her room. And, I know that something happened to her years ago and only a couple of handful of people know about it such as Alex and Logan.

I would spare Logan because he hasn't been that bad to me and also always tried to help me in whatever way he can. He's a nice guy. But, Alex... he has to suffer. Just because he is the brother of Scott and also because he knows the truth about Adrienne. I will pull out all of his memories regarding her, particularly about her death and force that bitch to watch it over and over again.'

'Good. Very good, Jean Grey.', Phoenix said devilishly.

Jean raised her hand and when she pointed her hand towards Havok's head who gasped, doubling over in shock. However, Jean frowned and said, 'I can feel some telepathic blockage in his mind. The Professor must have something to do with this.'

'Leave it to me.'

Suddenly, Jean felt an enormous wave of power inside her head which spread all over her body. Her red hair waved and phoenix wings manifested behind her body from within. Jean's entire body glowed in flames while the clothes she wore blackened and disappeared within the flames as a majestic cape spread over her back.

"Everything will be ours.", Jean shouted as she exerted all of her power toward Havok's head.

A thin beam of grey light suddenly appeared from her hand and it pushed through the obstruction in Alex's head which disintegrated in the process. With the protection gone, her psychic attacks assaulted Havok as she got her hands on his memories.

Seeing Emma, Jean smiled through her teeth and flicked her finger toward her.

A wave of psyhic energy burst forth from her finger and slammed onto the ground, causing a massive explosion.

BOOOM

Emma flew away like a ragdoll and slammed on the wall a few meters behind.

BAM

Smiling, Jean forced herself in Emma's head and said evilly, 'Have a seat, Miss Frost. The show is about to start!'
