[A Duodecade Of Nomadic Journey] - A Hero's Mission - Val's Fight to Protect the Innocent and Bring

Val charged towards the person closest to him, determined to take them down. As he closed in, he could see that his opponent was skilled in the art of martial arts, channeling their chi into powerful strikes.

Val knew he had to act fast. With lightning-fast reflexes, he seized the person's fist, surprising them with his speed and agility. But he didn't stop there. With a sudden twist, Val heard the sickening sound of bones cracking under his grip.

* CRACK *

The person let out a blood-curdling scream, writhing in agony as Val moved behind them, continuing to bend and twist their arm.

* CRACK *

Val released his hold as the person's arm hung limp and useless at their side. The man cried out in pain, his body wracked with agony as he clutched at his dislocated arm.

Val suddenly, leapt out of harm's way, narrowly avoiding the deadly chi energy beam that flew towards him. As he landed, he scanned the area, his eyes locked on the person responsible for the attack. Without hesitation, he charged forward him.

Val's opponent was clearly skilled, firing off another beam of chi energy in an attempt to take him down. But Val was too quick for him, leaping and dodging with ease. Using the wall as a platform, he launched himself towards him, delivering a devastating kick to their face.

* WHAM *

But Val wasn't done yet. He spun around and followed up with another powerful kick, this time aimed at his opponent's chest.

* WHAM *

The force of the blow sent them hurtling backwards, crashing into the wall.

* CRACK *

Val wasted no time in his pursuit, sprinting towards the prone figure as they struggled to get back on their feet. In one swift motion, he delivered a crushing kick to their throat.

* CRACK *

* THUD *

Val felt the man's throat crack under his foot and as he moved backward, he saw the person's lifeless body hitting the ground.

Val turned around and scanned the remaining attackers and thought, 'One down, four remain.'

He closed in on one of the attackers and a deadly chi energy beam lanced towards him. Val was ready, though, and he dodged the beam with ease, closing in on his foe. With lightning-fast reflexes, he unleashed a devastating punch to the person's liver.

But Val wasn't finished yet. He followed up with two more powerful punches to the attacker's chest, the force of his blows causing the person to cough up blood as they stumbled backwards, their back pressed up against the wall.

Without missing a beat, Val advanced towards them, seizing their head in his grasp and slammed the person's skull against the wall with all his strength, the sound of bone breaking under his grip resounding through the alley.

* WHAM *

* CRACK *

The wall behind them cracked under the force of the blow, a testament to Val's strength and the attacker slumped to the ground, lifeless.

Val sensed the presence of another attacker behind him. He acted quickly, ducking to avoid a surprise attack aimed at his head. Swiftly turning around, he landed a powerful punch to the person's stomach.

* CRACK *

Val's devastating blow shattered multiple ribs, leaving the person gasping for air in alarm. But Val didn't hesitate for a moment, launching a follow-up attack with a punch to the person's jaw.

* CRACK *

The person's face contorted in agony as their jaw and cheekbone shattered, blood and teeth spilling from their mouth as they fell to the ground. Val watched calmly as the attacker writhed in pain, then he brought his foot down hard on the person's throat, snuffing out their life in an instant.

Val's eyes scanned the area and his gaze settled on a figure who had been hiding from him throughout the entire fight. Val wasted no time in sprinting towards the person.

As soon as the person realized Val was closing in, fear overtook them and they began to run. But there was no escaping Val's grasp, and with ease, he caught up to the fleeing figure. Without hesitation, Val twisted the person's neck with a swift motion.

* CRACK *

The sound of bone snapping echoed through the air as the person crumpled to the ground, lifeless.

Val's attention turned to the attacker who had been trying to assault the girl. He could see the man leaning against the wall, a smug look on his face as he folded his arms in a relaxed posture. But Val was not fooled by his apparent calmness.

The man suddenly unfolded his arms and a creepy smile spread across his face as he began to channel his chi into his fists, causing them to glow ominously. Val's eyes narrowed as he assessed the man's stance and chi and thought, 'A master from S'ahra Sharn. But I don't care about that. To me, he is nothing more than a despicable assailant that preys on innocent girls.'

Without hesitation, Val charged towards the man, his eyes fixed on his target. As he ran, he thought to himself, 'Assaulters like him don't deserve to live.'

Meanwhile,

From the rooftop, Sihing and Fat Cobra observed the ongoing battle, their eyes locked on Val and the S'ahra Sharn master. Sihing turned to his companion, a knowing expression on his face as he commented, "You see now, Fat Cobra? Looks can be deceiving."

Sihing's attention was then drawn back to the fight between Val and the master. He observed in amazement, "Look at him, Fat Cobra. Not a strand of chi in his body, yet he can hold his own against a master of chi. It seems that he has been trained before, but that doesn't diminish the fact that he is...now pushing the chi master back."

Fat Cobra tore his eyes away from the scene and looked at Sihing with a sense of curiosity. "What are you planning to do?" he asked.

Sihing observed Val's every move with keen interest, analyzing his techniques and strengths. "I can sense that he is not an orphan or else I would have given my chi and armor to him," he said. "But," he grinned at Fat Cobra, "that doesn't stop me from training him and teaching him my martial arts."

Fat Cobra shifted his gaze back to the fight before turning to Sihing with a puzzled expression. "Are you sure about this, Sihing? You know how selective you are when it comes to choosing your apprentices. What makes you think he's worth the effort?"

Sihing chuckled, his eyes still fixed on Val, "Call it a gut feeling, Fat Cobra. There's something about him that tells me he's different. Perhaps it's the way he fights or the look in his eyes. Either way, I'm willing to take a chance on him."

As the fight drew to a close, Sihing watched with satisfaction as Val delivered the final blow to the master. "The fight's over. Let's meet him," he said, signaling for them to make their way down to the scene of the fight.

Meanwhile,

Val took a deep breath, his heart still pounding from the fight he had just won. As he looked down at the lifeless body of the master, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that it was all over.

But his moment of calm was interrupted by the sound of footsteps approaching him from behind. Val quickly turned around and was surprised to see Sihing and Fat Cobra walking towards him. "Well fought, young man," Sihing said, his voice carrying an air of respect. "I am Sihing, and this is Fat Cobra. We have been watching you, and we believe you have the potential to become a great warrior." He looked around and with a serious expression on his face turned to Val and asked, "You want to learn martial arts and chi, kid?"

Val's face lit up with a smile and he thought, 'I can't believe my luck - to have been noticed by two Immortal Weapons!! This is a dream come true, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!!' and he immediately bowed in respect, knowing that this was the beginning of a new chapter in his life, and replied, "Of course, Master."
