Chapter 191:

The room was large, with a set of stairs in the center leading up to a throne that belonged to the fortress owner and mistress, as well as the leader and founder of the aristocracy.

The representatives of the aristocracy remained in wait, lined up and gathered at the bottom of those stairs, having been priorly summoned.

Shania was accompanied by veterans of the Eirwens brotherhood.

The retired Mathilda, still a representative of the Douglas family, with the loyal Lidya by her side.

Raziel, the White Crow, along with, at his side, his brothers and sisters, the sparrows,

Besides them were dozens of other nobles of unquestionable loyalty to "the mother" and her cause.

It was there, while everyone in the room was waiting, that she, with Aryan at her side, arrived in a dazzling pillar of light.

After sweeping her gaze across the room, a smile formed on her face as she took steps toward her throne.

"When I began this journey, there was just me and Barbara. We had a very single idea fixe, the one to bring justice for her and myself. But the further ahead we got, the more unrealistic and selfish our plans were. Our objective has thus, in consequence, changed."

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

"Today, our objective is to set the dawn of a new age by bringing an end to the current order by taking out those organizations that dare to stand in the way of that new age, organizations that in their blind belief have forgotten the reverence owed to the very first god, organizations that preach lies while in the meantime commiting utterly unforgiving blasphemy."

"The Mother" reached her throne, yet did not yet sit upon it. Instead, she looked at her people down below and announced:

"I understand that this task will not be painless or bloodless, but we believe it should be fine, for we are no longer alone. We have recently lost members from our ranks. Though unfortunate as it was, we will move on. We shall live on without them, as they would’ve wished us to, which is why today I received the arrival of two new members, joining our ranks.

The enormous door leading to the room opened, and a young man and a young lady walked through it.

"Coming to us from a very long past, Miss Nia, Princess of the Old Royal Family and Daughter of Raissa and Mon, commonly known as the Apostle Solomon, the Loner." The Mother introduced, causing those present who ignored her identity to gasp in surprise at the girl's background.

"Striding along with her is Ronandt, the beloved son of two of my sisters, Mathilda and Barbara, but who is also, to the church and to many of us, the one who is infamously and commonly renowned as the "Faceless One."

Many eyes in the room were riveted on the duo, incredulous. Though the girl's background was already impressive, the boy's was even more, for his most recent deed, and the ones from which spawned countless rumours and theories, was still vivid in most memories.

"With the introduction made, let us proceed with our holy war."
