Raff quickly picked up the pebbles at his feet when he saw Gill ready to attack. All of the students there seemed to be amazed at the strength Gill was showing, while Nia immediately turned her gaze to Raff as if expecting him to do something.
"Will my power increase in this situation?" thought Hayato as he felt an overwhelming surge of mana.
"No, of course I'll die if I don't do anything. This guy is crazy," Hayato said quietly.
"Will he survive such an attack?" muttered Elena with a worried look on her face because Hayato hadn't given up yet.
"We'll see who dies first. Me or you, this is the strongest attack I can do. Get ready!" said Gill while lowering his body as if he was ready to attack.
"You weird NPC, the strongest power should be shown in the last seconds of the fight. He shouldn't show it like this at the beginning," Hayato grumbled, cold sweat starting to flow under his shirt. "Raff could help me," Hayato thought as he closed his eyes.
"He seems desperate," Raff muttered as he watched Hayato close his eyes.
Slowly, Raff's right hand, holding the pebble, began to be enveloped in lightning. But the lightning in Raff's hand disappeared as he saw Hayato open his eyes again, and there was a change in Hayato's face. This time, Hayato seemed to stand firmly, grabbed his sword, then jumped back thirty meters, then took a stance to counter Gill's attack.
"Is he still going to fight?" muttered Raff in surprise as he saw Hayato strengthen his stance.
"Since when have I depended on others? Since when have I expected others to help me? Haven't I lived alone for twenty years? Those two never even considered me, the only person I depended on is also gone," Hayato thought.
"If I have to die here, then I will die as a knight! Come forth, O Fate!" Hayato shouted, mobilizing all the mana in his body. "Just one attack, just one attack, at least this attack will give him a wound. So that he remembers my name for the rest of his life," Hayato thought while gripping his sword tightly.
Just then the flames started to surround Hayato's sword, sparks started to fly from the blade of Hayato's sword that was surrounded by flames. Raff looked shocked as he saw the flames that covered Hayato's sword condensing to a hair's breadth, not even seeing the flames that overflowed in different directions.
Raff squeezed the pebbles in his hand with a smile. "What a copycat," Raff muttered to himself.
"Step forward, Gill Ruttera Livsirg! Face your death!" Hayato challenged loudly.
"I'll do it without you!" shouted Gill as he slashed his sword horizontally from a distance. "Sonic Wave!"
A huge wave of wind shot out from Gill's direction, forming a sword slash that was as wide as it was long. Even Gill's wave of wind slashes traveled as far as the training ground, and chunks of earth began to scatter into the air as they were swept away by the powerful wave of wind.
"Ultimate Fire Slash!" Hayato shouted as he slashed his sword vertically at Gill. At that moment, Hayato's vision suddenly darkened and his body began to float down as he ran out of mana.

A solid flame shot out of Hayato's sword. Its size seemed to be the same as Hayato's own sword. Its movement seemed to be faster, there was even a straight line imprint on the surface of the ground due to Hayato's attack slash. A wave of wind also accompanied Hayato's slash from behind.
'Deg'
Gill's heartbeat suddenly skipped a beat and his eyes widened. He could see the attack slicing through his body through his skill, his bloodied body even collapsing to the ground.
"Impossible," Gill said as he stomped his feet and jumped aside to avoid Hayato's slash.
"At least it's a non-embarrassing end," Hayato mused before losing consciousness.
Nia's eyes widened in shock as she saw that Hayato's attack had managed to cut Gill's attack in half. It reminded her of the fight against Raff in the middle of the forest. Lilya and the other teachers were surprised as well.
The wind wave and the pressure of Hayato's attack made the two Gill attacks that were cut far apart, making the gap between the two attacks even bigger. Meanwhile, Hayato's attack continued to speed towards Gill's place.
The sound of a powerful explosion could be heard thundering as Gill's attack that had been cut in half hit the dividing wall of the drill ground. Hayato's body was not hit at all because it was right between Gill's two sliced attacks.
The ground of the drill ground shook violently like an earthquake, and many students fell from their seats due to the shaking of the ground. On the other hand, Hayato's slash also managed to hit the boundary wall of the drill ground, leaving a very deep sword slash mark on the wall.
"Such perfect mana control," Lilya murmured.
"He condensed his attack as thin as possible, so the pressure was much stronger than Gill's attack, which spread out in several directions. The situation might have been different if Gill had gone vertical. No, Gill must have made his attack horizontal on purpose, so that the boy couldn't dodge it sideways," Lilya thought.
"No way, he cut off Gill's attack?" thought Gomr.
"Since when can he do that? Did Raff teach him?" thought Nia.
"If Gill hadn't used his skill, he would have been seriously injured by now," Bara said as he looked at Gill, who looked shocked.
"How could such an attack cut through my strongest attack?" muttered Gill with a look of disbelief on his face.
"What just happened?" said Elena.
"He put all his mana into one attack. But what's surprising is that he condensed that fire elemental attack to the thinnest possible point, it's hard to believe that anyone can control mana like that," Nova explained, standing next to Elena.
"It even took me a long time to learn how to control mana like that from Lyn, but he can easily imitate it. This is ridiculous," Raff muttered as he looked at Hayato's body lying on the ground.
"Hayato is unconscious. Prince Gill Ruttera Livsirg is the winner!" Bara said loudly as he raised his right hand in the air to signify that the duel was over.
"I knew it, the prince would win!" cheered the fourth-year Academy students.
"The Chief is great," said a member of the White Knight.
"The result is as expected," said Lilya as she stood up with the other teachers.
"Long live Prince Gill!" the other students shouted in unison.
Gill let out a deep sigh as he waved his weapon in the air. The Academy students cheered in unison. But Gill's gaze remained fixed on Hayato's still lying body, he still couldn't believe that a rank F student as weak as Hayato managed to cut down his strongest attack.
The members of the White Knights who were present immediately went to the field to congratulate Gill, as did the other noble descendants. Mace and his friends even joined in the fun, shouting insults at Hayato.
Raff immediately went down to the field to bring Hayato. Just then, the insulting chant of the first year F class began. Mace seemed to be leading the chant while laughing with satisfaction, and the Rank F students immediately dispersed from the field with angry looks on their faces.
"The king's son will never forget this duel," Raff said as he carried Hayato's body.
Gill still had his eyes on them, but Raff didn't care and continued to lead Hayato out of the dueling arena. "Hayato, the main character. You are the third person who can cut my strongest attack," Gill thought.
