For the past three days, earthquakes have been occurring all over the Solaris Continent. It happened after the Solaris Continent split into four parts. Half of the world's sky was pitch black, and all the living beings in the south of the world had not been able to enjoy the sunlight for a week.
All the volcanoes in the four parts of Solaris erupted without stopping. Dust and smoke poured into the sky. The sound of powerful explosions could be heard in rapid succession. The oceans roiled, with tsunamis relentlessly crashing into shores around the world.
Huge lakes had formed on the southernmost landmass of Solaris. The entire land surface there seemed to have been destroyed, not a single plant or animal surviving. Everything had died from the effects of the last war of the Acedia Era, which had lasted for a month.
This time, thousands of black lightning bolts began to appear in the southern sky of Solaris Continent. The sound of booming thunder was heard one after another, and waves of hurricane winds began to blow violently. White flames were seen rising into the sky from the center of the land. Meanwhile, tsunami waves began to surround the land from all four sides. The dust flying over the land suddenly stopped moving due to the higher air pressure.
Not long after that. Thousands of black lightning bolts began to descend from the sky and strike the land below, and waves of white fire began to grow. The volcanoes on the ground seemed to shake with the earth. Thunderous explosions could be heard as thousands of black lightning bolts struck the white flames and tsunami waves that swept across the land.
Flames, wind waves, thick white mist, and thick black smoke were created simultaneously when the explosion occurred. All the water on the land was scattered in different directions along with the lightning and flames. The volcano seemed to be completely destroyed by the explosion.
A huge, deep depression was created in the center of the explosion site. White flames could be seen burning at various points in the basin. The surface of the ground in the basin appeared to be melting like lava. The ground continued to shake relentlessly until the surrounding seawater became turbulent again.
In the center of the basin was a large diamond. Seven scarred adventurers stood on it, protecting an adventurer lying helplessly on the diamond's surface. Blood soaked through their torn clothes, and the remnants of armor on their bodies slowly began to fall off.
Their breathing seemed labored. From the looks of their faces, they looked young, around 29 to 32 years old. Three of them were women, but their gazes were very sharp, just like the other five men.
Meanwhile, not far in front of them was a middle-aged man whose appearance was different from ordinary people. His eyes were fiery red, his body was covered in blood, both of his hands were severed, and the six horns on his head seemed to be broken. He could only kneel on the melted ground.
The middle-aged man breathed heavily. "Neutron! Don't expect everything to be over when I die!" the middle-aged man said as he stared intently at the eight adventurers in the distance.
A sword-wielding adventurer seemed to let out a deep sigh. "It's all over, Xavier. Your four thousand years of glory has been destroyed by us! Mankind will have to start all over again," he said without hesitation.
The man lying on the diamond surface seemed to be struggling to breathe. His eyes were fixed on Xavier, who was kneeling in the distance. "It looks like I'm going to die soon," he said quietly.
Among the adventurers was a beautiful blonde woman who immediately knelt down Next to the lying man. She put both hands on the man's back, "I'm not going to let you die, Raff.”
The lying Raff began to slowly move his mouth. "Lyn," he murmured softly. His voice was not audible at all as it came out with fresh blood from his mouth. His gaze began to shift to the blonde woman sitting next to him. Slowly, his body seemed to be enveloped in a yellow glow.

"No! It's not over yet, Neutron! I will definitely take revenge on all of you! Especially you, Raff Lostfield!" Xavier shouted as he opened his mouth wide.
An adventurer carrying a large shield immediately moved slowly to the front row. "That's impossible, even though his body has begun to merge," he said, clutching the shield tightly in his hand.
The man with the sword immediately grabbed the shoulder of the man with the shield. He knew that his friend wanted to use his remaining strength to protect them. "It's already over, Vhis, you don't need to use the rest of your strength," he said.
"Rex," the man with the shield muttered.
"I will definitely finish you even if this world is destroyed!" Xavier shouted before his body was reduced to ash.
The dust from Xavier's body was immediately scattered by the wind until it hit the eight people present. All eight of them immediately closed their eyes to avoid getting caught in the scattered dust.
"Is it all over?" muttered Raff, who was still lying helplessly.
Suddenly Raff's vision went completely dark. His chest felt tight and he couldn't breathe. His heart seemed to beat faster and faster. A hideous, huge face appeared in front of him. Its mouth was open, as if it were about to pounce on him.
"Xavier!" shouted Raff with the last of his strength.
Suddenly, Raff woke up, his breath taken away. He rubbed his face with both hands. His heart was still pounding and cold sweat began to soak his body. But now he was able to breathe again.
Raff slowly began to catch his breath. "I had the same dream again. Even though a week has passed since he died," he murmured softly.
Slowly, Raff raised his face. The look on his face suddenly turned to shock as he saw thousands of stars in the sky, glowing beautifully. Raff immediately looked around. He was even more surprised when he realized that he was now on a grassy plain.
"Am I still dreaming?" Raff said as he stood up.
Raff tried to pinch himself. "Ouch!" Raff screamed in pain. "Looks like this isn't a dream after all." Raff began to pace the meadow, "What the hell is going on here?" he muttered under his breath.
"Rex! Vhis! Lou! Ryuu!" Raff shouted in a loud voice. But no one answered his call.
"Lyn! Anna! Alicia!" Raff shouted again. This time he tried to call his three friends. But no one answered.
Raff crouched down this time, making his body look like he was shivering with cold. "You're not playing with me! I know you got me out of bed to tease me! Come out quickly! I'm freezing!" Raff shouted again.
"Cough!" Raff began to pretend to cough. "Lyn, I'm still recovering. You'll have to treat me soon," Raff said as he held his chest.
"Tch. You really don't feel sorry for me," Raff grumbled.
Raff stood up again after all his efforts were in vain, this time looking around. "All right, if you really want to play hide and seek. I'll find you! What a child!" shouted Raff.
Raff began to close his eyes, trying to make out which of his seven friends were there. "I can't sense their presence, as usual," Raff said with a deep sigh.
Raff then raised both hands. "I give up Rex, you can tell me to clean Xavier's palace garden all you want!" Raff shouted loudly.
But no one answered his words. Raff frowned for a moment, confused because his friends never responded to his call. Then Raff walked down the meadow. He was surprised because the atmosphere around him also felt different than usual.
"I can't see the top of Xavier's Demon Tower from here. Did they take me to a very far place?" Raff muttered as he walked quickly towards the end of the meadow.
Now Raff was standing at the edge of the cliff that marked the end of the meadow. His eyes widened in shock at the sight below him. Oil lamps shone from a town in the distance.
Raff's heart began to pound as if he had a bad feeling. "Where am I now? Hasn't every city on the continent of Acedia been badly damaged since the end of the war?"
Raff quickly jumped down the cliff. His body looked like floating paper as he skillfully slid down the steep cliff. In a short time, Raff had placed his feet at the bottom of the cliff where he had stood earlier.
Raff's eyes began to focus on his hands. "There's something strange about my body, am I still recovering from the last fight?" Raff muttered, moving his hands and feet alternately.
Shortly after that, Raff took off like lightning, running very fast toward the city in the distance. The grass he passed did not even move a little, the grass only moved in the wind after Raff was quite far away.
It wasn't long before Raff was standing on top of the city fortress he had seen earlier. His eyes were wide open as he saw the unfamiliar landscape in front of him. The style of all the buildings in the city was very strange to him. All the houses there seemed to be lit by oil lamps. As far as Raff knew, oil lamps were only owned by the nobility of Xavier's followers.
Raff's clothes slowly began to blow in the wind. "What exactly happened? Where did they take me when I was asleep?"
