> The dance flows around me, but do I flow in it..?
----------------------------------------
With each new motion the wheels began to lose pace, making each of the tags on each segment now visible without issue. An anticipating crowd watched, questioning who of the last nine would be amongst the initials of this new round.
Those same devices then reached complete stops on each of their ends, arrows tethered between a line dividing two potential options.
《And the chosen are…》
Instantly, onto the Field's earthly platform were two; the Pillar Toxic, and the prince David.
Toxic smiled at David, teeth and all, for his enthusiastic vim for this battle was unlike any before. His desire could be felt even in his semblances, showing just how much he looked to this.
David took in a quick deep breath, both in and out, all to mentally soak in the contest ahead of him.
"BEINGS OF THE OMNIVERSE…THE CHALLENGERS!!!" Dgiag roared, standing in the space between both, at the exact centre of that length that separated the two. And enthralled and pleased in all, the audience yelled a great shout of excitement.
Though, not all were enthralled or pleased, visibly represented by Wok and Probacon, whose bodies and voices highly denoted their unease. "Oh my…” "Seriously?”
As Dgiag reintroduced the duo, Fighter and Noot watched from their own section, with the Sarhun even attempting to strike up a conversation. "Quite the match-up, huh?" "Way to divert from our current issue at hand…"
"Show your respects, young heir, great lord.” Dgiag requested, and it was met with a similar shared answer of concordance.
The Djikk performed his stable, teleporting from out of the abysmal Field yet again.
And as always, upon that pedestal in the Coliseum did he land, calling for the match to commence. "BEGIN!!!"
Instantly, four large cubes materialised above David, with their presences being detected just as rapidly by the Nafiman prince.
Those crashed onto the ground below, seemingly intended to make an attempt at pulverising the prince. However, he skipped away just before they came on top of his position then.
"’Metapotence’...”
“Is that it, o higher one?" He asked of the Viosi, yelling as he landed with a classic heroic pose having one hand’s fingertips on the ground, and one bent knee with the corresponding heel raised.
"Truly are you with a sharpened mind, son of Edison and Judi…" Toxic chuckled, revelling in his feats and the youngster's display of wits.
David could only look back to him as he spoke, carrying both confusion and clarity in his eyes"...Prince of Primus, David Uno.”
"It is. Though, a far lesser version of it.”
He rushed at the prince, taking strides at a rate he knew could be handled by his opponent.
Then came his attack with rapidity, of a hand strike engulfed in flame, but one blocked with pinpoint precision by the defending David.
From the other hand of the prime symbiotic being, a much larger appendage began to form, from a manner of the stretching and entangling of the material of his form all pointed to the sky.
He slammed it onto the ground on which the prince stood, just missing him in his nick-of-time evasion but denting that place greatly.
Toxic turned to look at him, focused on him without waver.
To that boy I must take heed, as I, just like Bora before, have greatly reduced my might to compete with him…
And…because he, just like Djin Pro…
Is one of the few that can actively challenge a-many natural orders and continua, including dest, and truly enact the one set rule: that any and all can choose when aligned deeply with the absolute designs! And then in his mind came visages of the ones he believed, he knew, to be capable of such manifested in his mind, including Probacon and Wok, Noot and Talisman, Yurupt and Watch, Star and Drachi, Dije and Windful, amongst a plethora of silhouettes.
David himself began to calculate his next moves as well, focused on the Pillar as he scrubbed with a swipe of a forearm his lower jaw.
Toxic began darting at the latter, with both great speed and precision.
But as he reached him, he was deflected away by his opponent with a strong shove to the side, changing his trajectory.
However, Toxic was swift to turn back towards David, triggering the start of the first spell of close-quarters combat. A veritable length of combat involving various strikes, blocks and throws. The difference in skill and experience were clear as day however, and it seemed the prince could only truly match in the speed which had to even been greatly hindered for his sake.

《A prince with prodigious skill.》 《Against a Lordship of all techniques.》
In one instance, the Viosi smashed his fist into the earth beneath, with the Nafiman just managing to evade by becoming aerial, spinning away with straightened legs. And in another, the latter attempted a low sweep, only for the Pillar to elude the attack by rapidly lifting his legs and placing a hand onto the floor. And another involved Toxic forming tendrils, thin but sturdy ones, releasing them at David. But the prince would manage to jump out of their reach yet again, leaving the tendrils to crash and bore into the ground.
A while after these moments, Toxic instantly activated his Nimbus, which seemed to be a Starman one as well, and looked to use it to perform an attack the prince would not catch onto in time due to its surprising nature
But much to his surprise, David managed to block the attack with nothing but chasm energy, his core power, and his own physical immenseness, grasping firmly the Nimbus's moving fist.
He can interact with the metaphysical?, thought the intrigued Viosi, with staring eyes glowing of interest.
David then dragged the hand and subsequently the body of the Nimbus towards himself.
And delivered a resounding headbutt to the areas appearing to be its bridge and upper jaw. And as a Nimbus has connection to its user's body and spirit, it affected Toxic also, leaving him harmed and causing his head to suddenly snap backwards.
The Pillar would step back in recuperation with a hand over his face, retracting Starman as well.
He chuckled while motioning his neck about slightly to return feeling to it, impressed by the prince's resolve and wit.
David nodded his head in response, continuing to contemplate once more. So far, so good. Considering all the possibilities, even Pillars were not to be removed from suspicion. But…
He looked towards Toxic, perplexed at the other’s odd procurement of random items from behind him, those of utilities which were not applicable to combat normally. Seems Lord Toxic at the very least has nothing to do with it. (Though I find his general inaction a bit bothersome…)
Then, he preparedly took his signature battle pose, ready for that which was to play out next. Now, to devise a way to potential victory.
"Already?! I'm hardly done here…,” exclaimed Toxic as he sensed the prince's intent, hurriedly putting a stop to what he had been doing.
So, this next line of action…
He dashed at Toxic, amidst his creation of three chasm energy clones.
All three attempted to strike at the Viosi, but he simply blocked by producing broad tendrils to deal with each individual, even ensnaring the clones with some other tendrils.
"There's more, no?" Toxic asked the main David, slightly unimpressed, as the clones began to fade due to their hollow nature.
But David lost no focus, nor no resolve. Not yet!
Suddenly, five more clones appeared in midair positions all around Toxic, each with an orb of primarily chasm energy in their grasp
They charged towards his standing to land the orbs, which would detonate strongly with their impact.
Both individuals took off out of the resulting mass of smoke and dust, barely scathed if even at all.
Impressive…expected for someone whose chasm energy nearly rivals a Gem’s. Toxic thought, focused on the prince who once again made a sprint towards a rapidly accelerating rate.
With the use of chasm energy once again, a purplish aura that had nullified the gravitational effects began forming around himself and immediate surroundings, levitating all that was surrounded by it. And for someone whose true gift and power in this field are yet to be fervently explored.
“Go forth, arms of luster!” He triggered the aura’s outburst, and an omnidirectional unleashing of it and all the objects it carried were soon to follow.
Toxic evaded these articles, even demolishing some irregardless of their earthen form, all these launched at speeds unnatural.
He followed up by firing two potent blasts of pure light at his opponent from individual fingers. But his opponent evaded with sublime action, and in a short burst would get into range of Toxic, prepared to deliver a packed punch.
But the attempt was fruitless, as suddenly, the very same barrier technique the likes of Wok and Yurupt used was placed between both, leaving the forceful pressure from the attack to travel and decimate elsewhere.
David retracted for great distances, as his aim now was to recuperate and rethink strategy.
A staredown ensued, with the eyes of each individual saying two differing things, but equal in the blaze of the one intent they shared.
In an instant, the Field's flow of time became bent beyond comprehension, as Toxic forced it to do so, perpetuating a plethora of simultaneous time-based mishaps. While the prince simply stood in place, allowing his resistance from chasm energy to aid him, combining that with seeming shifts between slowing, accelerating, and freezing the forces of time just around himself as countermeasures. Intensively staring at each other, their battle would carry on in a vastly different way now.
《The world is bent by two. A battle of chronological specialty.》
But as the battle ran its course, the talk shared between Noot and Fighter would also be in flow within their shared section, although a part of their attention was still put on that ongoing bout. “Must say. That one power of David’s is as extensive as it are rare…” “And you complained about me diverting from that which is on hand.”
Then, Fighter lowered his head, and sighed so deeply it seemed eerie even.
"But yeah…looking at it all…" Even still, Noot paid little heed to him, but carried himself similarly to the Sarhun. "It was pretty blatantly obvious.” "Too obvious, it seemed too easy." "Mm-hmm. Had us really scurrying about for those concrete truths.”
“And the fact he managed to pull it all off like this…” “Yeah. He truly is something…”
"That Bora.” Noot concluded, added to an expression of certainty and decisiveness, but with such a final conclusion…
《The grand declaration!》
