Pushed to the very boundaries, shaken by the drive of the celestial.

Working elsewhere in the bounds of the Coliseum’s internal, the other mani-manned unit oversaw some “death” zones, in search of a connective string to the scorch marks that they had uncovered, as well as any further expansion on the text left behind by Wells. Though their minds were tethered to the tasks they performed, it was not to an utter degree, especially to a more literal meaning on Purogu’s end. “Really?”
“Is that so? Well, it’s just as we said last time…” She continued, as though in transmissive communication with another through one means or another, and catching the notice of her fellow investigators.
“Ok, just who are you talkin’ to?,” questioned Drizzled finally, causing her to jolt from startling. “Oh! It was just Noot. David’s match is ongoing, and some rather great demolition has come about from it.”
“Heh. As expected from that guy.” “What’s not to expect?” Kai chimed in with his own thoughts.
“He’s excellently intelligent, physical, strategic, adaptable and socially influential. One of the purest cases of prospect become prowess I’ve ever seen. He’s just…built like that.”
The other two looked to Kai, and analyzed his words. They seemed to see some truth in it, looking at the Nafiman prince, what he was and what he stood for, and it would most definitely not be hard for one to look at him with such a lens.
However, Purogu smiled at Kai’s report, letting off a light chuckle as she did.
“You’re half-right, Kai. But…you do miss one thing.”
“No one is completely excellent. There are failings we all have, whether born with or gained through one means or another. They’re like the very abilities that grant us feats beyond ‘the norm’. He’s no different. He simply just seems…”
“To be one of few who just fully, attentively press on regardless…” Meanwhile, the great hemispheric cloud that was part of the following aftermath of the explosion was gargantuan, rivaling even celestial extents in its vertical and horizontal extents.
The crowds watched in anticipation of the current statuses of the two, and similarly did David's allies look, in their own states of keen sharpness.
The dust's settling began, and silhouettes of the brace became clearly visible, as it could be seen that despite all both were still on their feet.
Fully dissipating, it revealed them, who despite injuries and bleeding in some places; possessed enough vitality and survivability to be standing. King had his clothes damaged in various areas, and blood trickling down all his exposed arms, also rolling from the corner of his mouth, and many portions of his torso damaged, which were simultaneously areas of damaged attire.
《Battered…》
Whilst David had his vest completely eviscerating, placing his well-toned torso on full display, and his pants now possessing tears in some places.
《But not down.》
They panted together, their own signs and testaments to the battle's strenuousness.
Then Dragon King grinned, and did so with much boast. "Seems like ‘talking it out’ didn't work well enough for you.”
"I had not realized our antagonizing discourse was that." David replied as his wounds regenerated. "No attempt was made there, as far as I know."
"Good.”
Then King took a sprinter spot, unshakingly going for the offensive. "Ready for what comes next….”
“Prince of Primus?!!" He roared as he sprung straight towards David.
David prepared himself, coating both hands in rising chasm energy.
As King reached his vicinity and went in to strike, he quickly teleported into the sky.
Using chasm energy, he levitated himself by counteracting the gravitational effect on himself, simultaneously inducing a “fold” in the space-time of that area with an aggressive outward swing of his arm, bringing about a distortion that left Dragon King baffled.
All of a sudden, he began to be pulled upwards, unable to resist for many reasons primarily based in his reactions.
He reached David's level with the latter coming in from behind with his own attacks prepared. ~Ether…~
~Charge!~ King was then swiftly assaulted with barrages of punches and kicks, all enhanced with the documented neonic energy.
And with the final kick from the Nafiman prince, King was catapulted back towards the surface.
The prince made no delays either, following suit after King with a supernatural propulsion..
In retaliation, King charged up a bright red orb of energy at two of his fingertips, which brimmed of ‘positive energy’.
~Push!~ He released it in David’s direction, who was not unaware of its presence and had stuck a hand in his pouch to grab hold of something.
What he grabbed hold of was an intrinsic high-technological glove of his own making through which he poured his dynabolic energy to form a small but reinforced plate, which was used to block the orb.
But the repulsive force created by that orb was not one to be so easily overcome, as it still was powerful enough to push him far back with little resistance, which bewildered even him.
And through mountains it pushed him, resulting in a path of tremoring capitulation.
King began using his even stranger powers, seemingly doing something to his own material form at its most essential aspects, turning an arm into an unholy mace of destruction.
David recovered from the orb’s pushback, now once more making his way towards his opponent with a slight acceleration at every stride.
King flung with power his transfigured arm at David, an act further strengthened by his own abnormal burliness.
But David swiftly dodged the mace by leaping over it, with electricity beginning to be generated on his hand in a vibrant potency.
~Raijin!~ He placed his hand onto the ground, channeling an extensively powerful current through it in an instant. So much so that much of the surrounding area was cratered at by the sheer magnitude, noting this as one of the prince’s more powerful techniques.
But to King it was barely anything, and he could only chuckle at its miniscule effectiveness against him.
David looked up with no surprise nor shock in his expressions.
"What's wrong? Not enough firepower?" King questioned mockingly as David beheld him from a lower position.
Then did the young prince smile in self-assurance.
From behind, a flashing entity instantly went by King, knocking him forward and onto the ground in the process.
As he fell, he swiveled himself some, managing to catch a glimpse of what had done it, reacting with stupefaction at the sight of a clone of David's. Another!?!?
He landed onto the ground, thudding with hurt.
The clone made its way to his original’s side without wasting a second, with King’s eyes still fixed on him as he swiped away some blood around his mouth with his forearm. Definitely a Dupli clone…he's a witty bastard, I'll give him that.
Then the two, with individual grunts would begin to dually barrel at an astonished King.
They accelerated towards him, as he adjusted himself to gain a better reading on them.
And with ease they changed directions, now running in parallel arcs in circumvention of King at traversal speeds of relativity.
King followed the racing curves in close attention, aided by his superhuman senses and looking to correctly decipher who was who.
Suddenly, the two Davids changed direction yet again, charging through a dynabolic boost much faster than ever before at a bewildering fraction of the speed of light, straight at their stunned opponent from his front and back.
Then via chasm energy and a swivel of hands, they swiftly transposed themselves in extremely close range of their adversary.
“HAA!!!” They exclaimed as they simultaneously landed attacks on an unrealizing Dragon King from the varied spots they were, one a kick to the base of his spine and the other a punch to his sternum, with both attacks bolstered inauspiciously by chasm energy, used to amplify the self-gravitational force presented by each strike for more damaging blows. King retched out blood, especially from being struck in previously damaged spots which prior had rapidly healed.

The clones fell back momentarily, but would waste no time to prepare for the next act.
But King sent out an augmented wave of electric discharge, one that dissipated the clone and sent David backwards.
He quickly turned to keep David in view, who was positioned at the rear of his person.
Then King would unleash a sonic-empowered breath wave with no regard in the way of his opponent.
But David stood firmly in place with unwavering resistance to its effects.
Once again he untethered himself from gravitation through Chasm Rein, and concentrations of energies could be seen beginning at his sides. Energies from dynabolism, the psychic power, the inward source, the spiritual life essence, electricity, ki, and chasm energy itself.
King looked up to behold the awe-striking sight of color and light.
And with swift action, David released all those in the form of powerful wave motions.
But with his own resistance, his opponent pushed through their onslaught.
Despite that it was clear not all he could withstand, and that those he couldn't ate away at him, with a sturdy clench of his jaw he fought against the effects of the attacks.
The onslaught ended, and though even more bloodied and battered, King was unmoved from his foundation.
David then quickly threw a Thunder Arrow at his opponent, but the latter was pacy enough to evade it.
He looked up to see David still high in the azure of the Field, analyzing from above King’s state and actions.
Their eyes met, each shaped in accordance to their current emotions, overrun with many thoughts at hand.
But without any warning, David teleported to the side of King and landed a punch on him.
David then evolved from that one attack into a blitzing multitude of well-organized Jujitsu strikes of varying kinds.
He would go on to jump onto King, shifting to his back and tightly locking in a triangle choke on his throat.
But with just enough brute strength, King tossed David from off his form.
Immediately racing away through flight, King began organizing in his mind new plans of attack.
David stood properly once more, dusting himself of all grime as he focused his eyes on the one in the middle of a retreat.
He proceeded to place his arms with both fists clenched and facing opposing directions in parallel to one another.
~Power: Penínda!~ He thrusted both fists, now enhanced significantly, forward and toward the very position of King.
Resulting in an wave of immense power, his attack caused the propagation of astronomically potent shockwaves that brought about their own destructiveness.
And in evenuality, they reached their intended target, sweeping him forward vigorously. “GAAHK!!!”
Onto the ground was he sent, grunting as he thudded on the hard surface.
David retook his natural stance, looking forward from the distance and measuring the effectiveness of what hehad just done a Dragon King slowly got up, gritting his teeth in frustration and glaring intensely as he held his abdomen.
Then the prince began to speak. "It is funny, is it not? The great canyon that separates us…"
"What?"
"Truly, I recognize just how gapped we are on both moral and mental spectrums. That much is not unseeable.”
"Hmm…,” bellowed the King as he listened to his opponent.
"Still…in all things are the natures and acts of good possible and findable. No exceptions. And outside of your combative capability that is my main reason for still giving you due diligence. Which is why…"
Puffing his chest in confidence and idealism, he boldly pointed towards King, leaving the latter slightly dumbfounded.
"I declare, the win today is mine. But so I pray here, that your eyes be opened and ears cleaned, in the hopes you shall tread onto a finer path, so one day, we can both do battle as true equals, and achieve a concurrent triumph.”
To the vast majority of the audience, this was an act nothing short of worthy of earned respect, as cheers and applause from all around the Coliseum rang in their response.
His words and actions were also recognized by those at the helm of things, smiling and nodding in great pleasure.
"Do I look like a reform project to you!? Huh?!" His opponent retorted angrily and loudly.
David did not utter a sound in reply, but just stared with an unshaken look.
"Not to mention…then why'd you react to me like that at first? Falling back on your own beliefs now, eh?"
David sighed.
"You truly believe I despise you? Well, isn't that quite the surface-level analysis?” David replied with a great calm to himself.
His statement drew even more of King's ire, displayed by his aggressive teeth snarling.
"Regardless, the current you has chosen to take no heed, so I will act as I must.”
He crouched, much to the puzzlement of his opponent.
He took a four-point sprint start position. "Here I come!”
“Haaaaa!" He pushed himself forward and began rushing towards a clearly startled Dragon King.
He first struck him back with an elbow to the face, sending him backwards.
As King traveled, David teleported behind him and struck him with a kick to the top of his skull, sending him in the reverse direction.
David made his way hastily at the still in-motion Stralean. From there he would attack with a flurry of punches, with grunts for the added effect of his intensity. Followed by a spinning sweeping roundhouse. Which was continued into a flurry of multidirectional side kicks, also with grunts.
He kicked the King's jaw upwards. And finished with a hook punch to the gut, causing King to retch in pain for a while.
Finally, the Stralean fell onto the ground as David leapt greatly into the air.
He spun around, as he began melding and concentrating all his energies at once in his cupped palms, looking to deliver a decisive blow.
"Haaa!" He exclaimed as he released a powerful concentrated blast of such energy with a color of near-blankness at his opponent.
King glared in utter terror as the attack neared him, noted by a rise in environmental brightness that eliminated shadows.
It landed onto King and the ground surrounding him, causing him unfathomable pain. "AAAAA!!!!!"
It eventually concentrated well enough to cause a mighty explosion that launched a beacon of light into the void.
The dust would clear and settle, and on the ground lay King sprawled and apparently unresponsive for the moment.
The crowds began their cheers, deeming it a sure victory for the prince.
David looked to the projection with a light smile drawn on his face.
But suddenly, Dragon King awoke from his previous state.
And in a frenzied rage, fired off a powerful blast of optic heat.
It zapped right through David's shoulder and brought about a bloody injury that left the unfocused David stunned.
Due to it and its effect, he fell to the ground.
He held onto it in great pain. "Gaah!"
He rose, and held to the wound while his healing factor acted as per usual
But his opponent had already begun his new gameplan. One which involved blitzing David from myriad directions, with the prince currently unable to respond.
"LET'S SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT!!!" He exclaimed, as for his final attack he began to vehemently vibrate his fist.
In a swift and sudden motion, David turned his head towards the King, with a look presenting a serious satisfaction. An act which even King could not understand.
"Do not disregard even the tiniest detail." David stated, positioning a folded hand out slightly from his body, looking as though he intended to flick something with it.
And so he did, launching rapidly a microbial indigo glow towards King.
It hit King, initially seeming to do nothing at all
But without warning, a sudden spread of indigo-shaded minerals spread over King's left side where the glow had hit, and his eyes would widen in shock and instant recognition.
With no delay in time he fell onto the ground.
"This is..." He uttered in a much weaker tone, barely able to speak or move.
"Stralite. A great weakness of any star-powered Stralean. I'd faced a few of you before so I would know. And based on the possibility of facing you soon, I concoted a device to create synthetic Starlite, which is right here in my pouch.” David said with a hand on his pouch, turning completely to face his opponent.
“This…was…”
“Yes.”
《Stralite.》
《A strange mineral material formed after the explosive deconstruction of the planet Stral in multiple corporealities. One of two major weaknesses of the Straleans. For this strategy, David worked to entertain a long-winded battle with King, knowing it would drain his energy reserves. Egging on his rival to utilize more “explosive” abilities to that result. And when King eventually reached more average levels of reserved energy, a quick use of prior preparation and a simple “orison” would do the trick.》
David stood over the fallen Dragon King, with a sharp coldness in his gaze.
《The work of the cold, calculated, and effective.》
King chuckled, but it was different from all previous ones. It was a chuckle of approval.
"So…you do have a malicious side…" He said in an even more frail voice, slowly losing his consciousness.
"Malicious? Maybe. But I am simply minded to use the best possible paths. Better to simply incapacitate you with this than any else…" David explained.
King chuckled, making an attempt to rise up as he always had.
But there was no success this time, as he slumped to the ground for the final time.
David looked down at him, carrying a much softer and sober expression.
King finally passed out, bringing about the conclusion to his and David's clash of spectacle…
