Chapter 24 – Bunny Battle Suit
----------------------------------------
Passive Income, simply put, was to earn without being directly involved. These types of Income would continue even when the player wasn't around. Things like hunting, gathering or crafting were considered Active Income; If one did not participate in those actions, one would not gain anything. Consignment into stalls were also considered Active Income because one would need to create items for sale.
When Bunny automate her Sera-Ranch, it became a Passive source of income. Regardless if she was online or not, the ranch would still function. The animals would hunt the sewers daily for rats. The hides obtained would be processed by rabbits into leather, which were traded for animal food. Rat Teeth extracted would be bartered for Tanning potions while the Meat and Tails were transported to Litvart, being cooked and sold for coins.
Bunny visited the ranch weekly (once every game month), to simply collect the coins, giving her monetary income which she didn't need to work for. With the new addition of a Farmer, a Woodcutter and a Candle Maker, the value passively gained improved to about 20 gold per collection after paying salary.
Angel and Gene were impressed with this feat. With Passive Income as their motive, Angel thought of earning while monopolizing the village trade while Gene filled the idea with necessary arrangements. The combined effort created the grand scheme Gene told Bunny about. They would create a Central Market, located near the manor-house, that would buy up all produce from the surrounding villages, then resell those at the city for a margin.
It normally took two or three days for the villagers to transport their wares to Serabroug directly. Compared to half a day travel to the Manor-House, the distance had an absolute advantage. Brass was rather heavy to transport while Wine couldn't be moved fast, as too much shaking would cause their value to deteriorate. Silk didn't have special conditions for delivering, but due to their cost, losing one shipment led to large losses.
Unlike normal merchants, with ample use of squirrels and their large pockets, the Central Market could transport large quantities of items without fear of shaking, weight or being robbed. Since all produce were considered specialties, their selling price was comparable 80% of what Serabroug offered.
In short, all 3 villages were delighted with this new Central Market and were happy to use it
In addition, the goods would flow both ways. Whatever the villagers needed, the Central Market would buy from the city and transport it back. Although these goods would be sold at cost, they included produce from Sera-Ranch, like meat, leather, candles and wood.
Fief of Galitzid Prairie
A fief in the Eastern part of Kingdom of Rosenheim. Due to its proximity to the Serabroug, Capital of the Kingdom, the villages in the demesne cannot grow beyond the size of towns.
In the past, this area has been part of the responsibility of the capital city Serabroug, but city soldiers have not done well in protecting the people of this land. The lack of protection has caused the area to be plagued by bandits and monster attacks. With the destruction of the Bandit Fort and restoration of the Lord of Manor, the villages in the surrounding have new hope for a peaceful future.

There is currently only 1 soldier. Village militias are in-charged of the order in their own village. Villagers feel that external threats have become non-existent. Monsters that used to attack once every few days no longer do so. The woods nearby had be clean of dangerous monsters and animals. Pools of blood are sometimes seen staining the outskirts of the villages but nothing attacked the villages. The residents are happy with their safety.
The region is currently prospering. Although there is a 10% tax, the Baronetess has set up a Central Market near the Manor-House. Anything that is produced locally can be sold at the station for 80% of the price stated in Serabroug. The residents can also order any product they need from the city at cost price. Most of the residents are happy with the wholesale innovation as they no longer need cart their produce to the city to sell, while getting a good price.
The local population believe in the Church of Freya, Church of Lu and Temple of Tokki as their primary religion. Shrines of the 3 Deities can be found in all the villages. In the future, this mixed of faith will likely continue.
Specialties:
- Copper Ingot, Brass Goods, Raisin, Red Wine, Silk, Shell Armor
- Total Territory Population: 7863
- Monthly tax income: 171 gold
*****
Bunny and friends only meet up during weekends for hunts or plannings. During the weekdays, due to time constrains, they would be busy with their own stuffs. The guarding of the villages had be set to autopilot, with rabbits and cats doing daily patrols, so the trio had time to themselves.
Gene was busy testing out his Portal skill to make the Manor-House into an artificial Dungeon. He was able to summon small imps which were below level 50, and now expanding the magic circles to test out higher level demons. The Portal could be placed in various regions of the Demon Realm, so Gene tried to locate an area with 'easy to kill' demons around Lv80, avoiding the tricky ones that could 'Parasite' or 'Charm'.
Angel made herself useful at the villages. In Vinrouge Village, the idea of selling grapes directly was discarded. The fruits were perishables and too much care was needed to transport them. Instead, for the excess grapes that were not made into wine, they were dried into raisins. Raisins were small, highly nutritious and easily transported, considered high grade, good tasting 'Rye Bread' used to fill up satiety during prolong excursions.
For Cuivre village, Copper/Brass produced by them had high malleability which made them poor choices for making weapons. With calculations, she found that Copper sold as Ingots earn more then wasting time processing them. The smiths in the village should focus on Brass. Angel had negotiated with the village chief, Gulmat, to stop making useless weapons and focus on creating more lucrative items like Brass utensils and tableware.
As the village earned more money, they would pay more tax. The Central Market which earned a fixed percentage would generate more income too. Helping the village would produce a Win-Win situation.
While others were busy, Bunny was stalking in Soie Village for the mysterious Seamstress called Yukino. She spent her online time improving her Tailoring skills at the silk broker, while waiting for the seamstress to visit. Although Bunny knew that Yukino had her own tailoring workshop, she resolved to wait at the silk seller instead.
*****
After a few days of waiting, Bunny finally met Yukino. Approaching her, Bunny greeted:
“Hello, are you Yukino the seamstress?”
“Nn?”
“My name is Bunny, I would like to learn some tailoring from you”
“I'm not the tailor NPC, go learn in the city.”
“You misunderstood, I have Tailoring at lv7, I just want to learn tips from better tailors”
“No!” Yukino shook her head after Yukino looked at Bunny's outfit
“Why not?”
“You lack taste!” was the reply
Yukino had flawless white skin and long, rich black hair that fell past her slim bodyline, tied into a loose ponytail with a ribbon near her hip. She wore the uniform of a Miko, a white robe called a hakui, with cords on the cuffs and split-open at both her shoulders and upper arm. Over her shirt was a red pleated hakama, which was tied high above her waist with a prominent bow at the front.
Compared to the almost generic outfit that Bunny was wearing, the difference was like heaven and earth. Bunny's only redeeming gear was the rabbit earmuffs, however, she wasn't easily dissuaded.
“I know I lack taste, therefore I want to learn” Bunny exclaimed
“What do you want to make?”
Taking out her Garter-Stockings of the Succubus and a choker she made that looked like a bow-tie, then pointing to her earmuffs, Bunny said:
Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.
“I want to make a playboy Bunny outfit, I already got the head, leggings and neck”
“Sigh..., no taste, also no class...” Yukino gave her honest opinion
“What?”
“No decent girl will want that kind of wear, you are either a guy in RL or extremely stupid”
“Ah!?”
“Don't worry, I will help you, I don't think I will ever get another such request, could be fun”
“Oh... ok... then?”
“Let me ask you, do you think a female body is best when naked?” Yukino asked
“No, covering some parts and leaving them to imagination would be better”
“How about the body? Why is your avatar’s chest so small? You like them small?”
“No way! Size is not everything, the shape and balance with the body is more important”
“Not bad... No taste, No class, but understand Moe”
“...”
Talking to a 'Master', Bunny was rendered speechless. She didn't know if she should be depress from the criticism or happy she was accepted. Also, when did Moe enter the scene?
Yukino then walked Bunny back into her Tailor workshop while explaining about fashion. There were several concepts that Bunny never thought of, like visual impact, fake exposure, figure highlighting... etc.
“A woman's body is not to simply display, you need to hide parts to enhance a viewer's imagination. Remember, sensual and seductive is different from lewd and slutty. Taking a Miko's outfit, that has been unchanged for over 500 years, why is it still more popular then your low-cut bunny suit?”
Looking at Yukino's outfit, Bunny understood some of the things she said. Her Miko garb had cord along the cuff, giving an impression of conservative, the body being seal up, but the split-open at her shoulders and upper arm that revealed a little skin, was just like the lid of the Pandora box being slightly lifted, allowing imagination to run. Compared to simply wearing a tank top with exposed shoulders, the outfit made Yukino much more alluring.
Similarly for the bottom half, the hakama which was fixed upwards, the ribbon knot was positioned such that people could ogle at her chest without being vulgar. The loose hakama although seem to hide, but actually made the slender waist more pronounce.
“A Miko grab covered much, making the wearer safe and confident while having subtle effects on the viewer... comparatively, revealing outfit will just draw stares and make the wearer uncomfortable... I understand why you said I have no class when I suggested that piece. Revealing more is not always better.”
“Not bad, not bad... you learn fast, so lets make something appropriate... now Strip!”
Within the enclosed space of Yukino's workshop, Bunny undressed. Yukino had been stirring some unknown mixture in a large jar, when she deemed it ready, she placed long strips of silk cloth in. Each piece was about 2m long and 20cm wide. After more mixing, she fished the silk cloth out and wrap them around Bunny's body.
“Brrrr.... cccold cold...” Bunny stuttered when the wet silk pasted on her body
“Unlike normal tailoring, in RR, you don't need to care about zips or buttons, so I am making a full body hugging suit by gluing the material onto you... It is uncomfortable, but the end product will be top-tiered, so just bear with it.”
After her explanation, she continued to fish out more strips of silk, warping around Bunny's body. From the chest downwards, the strips were lined up into a fixed pattern, tightly hugging the curvature of her body like bandages around a mummy. The circling stopped at her hips right before the body split into legs.
With the initial process done, Yukino then adjusted the wet silk wrapping into the shape of the typical Playboy Bunny-Girl outfit, with a depression between her beast to enhance the curves while pushing extra cloth behind her downwards until it exposed the whole back till the waist. With the shape in placed, Yukino told Bunny to stand near a fireplace, letting the wet silk dry on her setting their shapes.
While Bunny was forced to stand straight to prevent wrinkles on her new wear, Yukino started working on other pieces. She made a sleeveless vest that looked like a waiter's suit with a large opening on the front and nothing at the back. A pleated skirt was also done before she told Bunny to get naked again.
Unlike removing a shirt normally, using 'unequip', buttons and zips were indeed not needed. Even if the item was stuck to her body like a corset, it came off immediately. Yukino took the harden silk body and dried it further using some fire magic. When it became stiffed, she applied some lotion onto the interior, making it soft against the skin. Another lotion was applied to the exterior to relieving the silk from the stiff bonds. Together with the vest and skirt she made, she handled them to Bunny and told her to wear them all together.
After equipping and wearing all the pieces along with the Rabbit Earmuffs and Garter-Stockings, Bunny looked at herself in the full length mirror. She was extremely please with the result. Stats aside, the design was unique, covering the body decently while emitting an aura of sensuality. Yukino beside her thought the same, but decided to add something extra for enhancement.
Taking out some leather and more silk cloth, Yukino made a pair of simply fluffy cuffs and passed them to Bunny. Wearing those cuffs decorated her uncovered arms giving them a different feel, which made Bunny somewhat falling for her own beauty...
Taking all the pieces she made, Yukino merged them as a single outfit then asked Bunny:
“What do you want to call this new outfit?”
“Huh?” Bunny replied puzzled
“I can name the item, or do you still want it as 'Sexy Playboy Bunny Suit'?”
“No way! It is now much more... lets call it 'Bunny Battle Suit'”
“Must you call it a Bunny suit?” Yukino frowned
“Ah... my name is Bunny, so I think it is appropriate... heh...”
“I guess... it can't be helped”

It took almost 5 hours for Yukino to produce the outfit, which she charged 50g per hour of work... the price of a Master Tailor.
“Thanks for the outfit, I will recommend my friends to visit” Bunny happily said
“Only if they want interesting things, I don't do normal clothes.” Yukino replied blandly
“Don't worry, they are exceptional” Bunny smiled while thinking about her friends
“By all means... But I only do personalized outfits and each will be one-of-a-kind”
'As expected of a Master Artisan', was what Bunny thought. She felt like she hit Jackpot finding a master tailor hiding from the masses. Sometimes, there were players who prefer to focus on their works without wanting fame, but they were not easy to find.
To personalize the dress, Bunny needed to miserably withstand cold silk on her body for 3 whole hours. Although she felt it was all worth it, secretly, she started thinking:
'I will not be the only one to experience this torture of cold silk... muahahaha...'
