CHAPTER 12 – NEW CLASSES

Alan believed that there were always Divine Hints lying around, improving his life.
Whenever he was stuck with a problem, he would look for, and find these divine help. Just for RR, when he didn't know what to play as, his photo-edited masterpiece gave him direction. Stepping on the piece charcoal net him a title, something most players only earn after reaching lv100 or higher. Exploring the options of gaining a bunny suit, he obtained information on Horned Rabbits.
The accident causing his first fight, yielded Angel as a friend. Finding a sculptor making wooden weapons gave birth to the idea of arming the critters. And following the aspiration to become a breeder, unveil the mystery of the Chicken Farmer - Silva, who had lived for centuries.
Alan felt that if he had ignored the hints, like not being friendly with Angel when she first helped him, he would end up with a mediocre life, missing out on the fun.

As fate decreed, the Druid, whom Bunny didn't like, happened to be a friend of Angel. To continue her dislike would be to ignore a divine hint. Keeping that in mind, Bunny decided to wipe her impressions and start anew. Politely introducing herself
“Hello, I am Bunny, thanks for helping me with the poisoning.”
“Don't think of it, his more then willing to help” Angel answered on behalf.
“Angel, you are acting like your over protective uncle, let him speak for himself”
“Hmph!” Angel snorted
“Oh... ummm... I'm Gene... ummm... nice to meet you.” the Druid called Gene replied meekly.
After making acquaintance with Gene. There were 3 things on Bunny's itinerary.
1. She needed to get Angel some anti-poison skills
2. She needed to get the animals out of the sewers
3. Return the cats to Silva.
After discussion with the group, Bunny and Angel would proceed to the Church, while R2 and the squirrel would lead Gene to the other animals, bring them back to the orphanage. Being Life-Bound by Gene, R2 could communicate directly with Gene. Even when it had died recently, R2 didn't forget about food, so Bunny, on Gene's request, gave him some carrots and nuts to bring to the animals.
Splitting up, on the way towards the Church, Angel grumbled
“This is a waste of time, Lu acolytes can't learn Freya priest skills”
“For you, it may be impossible, but I am different” Bunny cheerfully replied
“Why? You got some special stats like persuasion or negotiation?”
“Neither, but I got a special title that makes NPC think I am smarter then what god gave me”
“Hahaha... I believe it only affects NPCs, I don't feel you're any smarter.”
“Whatever, just keep quiet while I work my magic” Bunny smiled mischievously.

At the spell seller of the Freya Church, Bunny was arguing with the clerk priest.
“Skills of Freya Priest are blessings bestowed by the Goddess, not everyone can use them”
“There must be a way for Lu acolytes” Bunny restored.
“There is, but you do not have the requisites”
Before Bunny could counter-argue, a young boy entered and said:
“It is not for us to judge, we are only to provide the path, the goddess herself will judge.”
“Your holiness, may all be the will of the goddess.” The clerk suddenly became very polite.
The boy looked at the two girls and addressed Bunny:
“The goddess grant me a vision, telling me to give her blessing to a faithful, are you the one?”
“Sorry, doing good is my nature, but being a priest isn't my calling.” Bunny politely declined.
“Doing good and being a priest are indeed very different.” The boy solemnly agreed
Looking at Angel, he continued:
“Are you the one, looking for Freya's blessings?”
“Yes, I seek the blessings of Freya” Angel replied earnestly, as a priest, she felt the faith of the boy.
“Then I shall show you the path, would you walk the way?”
At this statement, Angel's face showed great surprise, as if reading invisible board in front of her, she took a full minute before replying: “I do!”
Angel became encased in a white glow
“I have shown you the door, you will have to walk in yourself,” Turning towards Bunny, the boy asked “You will be helping your friend?”
“Yes!” Bunny nodded.
Gain Goddess Freya's Favor
You are to help the 'Godless Priest' Angel to gain Goddess Freya's Favor. The Goddess represents beauty and abundance. To satisfy the minimum, you would need to feed 100 orphans and work 20 hours of community service. Since this would be worked by two volunteers, the amount will be increased by half.

Number of orphans to feed: 248 / 150
Number of hours of community service: 32 / 30
Angel, although an acolyte of Lu, had been diligently helping in the Church of Freya, her past contribution easily satisfy the need for community service. Bunny, on the other hand, worked her cooking skills at the orphanage. This coincidence allowed the pair to complete the quest instantly.

Gain Goddess Freya's Favor
The 'Godless Priest' Angel had now gain the favor of Goddess Freya. She is now able to utilize all basic skill from the Church of Freya and Church of Lu. To utilize more skills from either churches, she would need to increase her amity with each Deity.
A brighter glow covered Angel's body and by the time it faded, beside the Lu symbol on her priestess gown a Freya Symbol was etched. Her necklace which was also a Lu symbol had be changed to Freya's. The Lu sign on her bow remained.
Looking both the girls, the young boy nodded in approval and said: “All according to the will of the goddess.”
“All according to the will of the goddess.” Bunny and Angel repeated.
Incidentally, Bunny also acquired an additional bonus.

Outside the church, Bunny could no longer suppress her curiosity asked:
“Is the 'Godless Priest' hidden class good?”
“Yes, although its called 'Godless Priest', it actually means I can gain skills from any church.”
“But I didn't see you buy any Freya Priest spells?”
“All spells are already learned, I just need enough amity with the two deities to use them”
“You just hit jackpot as a priest, can you show me your status info?”
After thinking for a while, Angel replied “No!”
“Why are you so stingy...” Bunny grumbled.
“You are doing a class quest with those kittens, right? We will exchange status info later”
“Alright!”

Silva was working in his chicken farm, he liked the peace and quiet of the current life. His original profession was a farmer, and took up animal breeding out of respect to his deceased master. His peacefully life want recently disrupted by a young girl, who not only question his identity, but shown interest in becoming a breeder. This was the first time he met such an interesting person.
Thinking about Bunny, Silva chuckled to himself. “I wonder what that young Missy is doing now? Usually I would have given chicks which will grow up in 2 week. Kittens are more fussy and takes longer. She just took the kittens last evening, I wonder if she will come ask me for help with...”
Silva caught a new bad habit, whenever dealing with Bunny, his jaws would drop whenever they meet. This time was no exception. While in self-thought, his jaws dropped due to 2 animals rushing towards him.
Two small cats were proudly running towards him with both their heads and tails held high, each was wearing a small cape attached to iron collars. They were also carrying miniature sized backpacks, which seemed to be filled. When in range, they playfully pounced on Shiva's legs then started rubbing their body against him, all the while displaying proudly their growth – two tails per cat.
Behind them was Bunny and her group... more like Bunny and her Army of animals. 3 humans, 20 armored rabbits and 5 squirrels in cape. On closer inspection, 3 of the rabbits had small twin horns sticking out of their heads in front of their ears.

Closing the distance, Bunny greeting:
“Hello, Grandpa Silva, as per request, I got Meow and Nyaa to lv10”
“What magic did you use?” Silva replied gasping.
“No magic, just simple training and hunting, want to see what they can do?”
Silva dumbly nodded.
Taking the hint, Bunny took 2 rat corpse from her bag, tossed them towards the cats, whom deftly caught them mid-air then proceed to clean up the meat, leaving a simple rat-pelt. Bunny took out 2 more corpse and does the same. This time, instead of eating, the cats carefully carved the meat out and stored it inside their tiny packs. With all these done, they picked up the pelts and returned to Bunny.
After the show, Silva had composed himself, he was done with being shock. Bunny ability was beyond his comprehension. Instead of accepting Bunny's quest completion, he invited the trio into his house. Silva had noted their classes and Bunny's potential,
Before moving off, he took some apples and gave one to each of the rabbits and squirrels. Watching the animals ecstatically munching on the fruits, Bunny noted 'Seems like they like apples more then carrots or nuts.'
Inside the small farmhouse, Silva offered seats which the trio sat down with Bunny taking the middle. Facing them, Silva began talking.
“Bunny, you are blessed not only with talent, but also with good companions. A breeder with a druid and a priest, that is one great combination. Therefore I will tell you a story.”
“The civilization of the Versailles Continent dawned approximately one million and eight thousand years ago. Back then, Humans, Elves, Dwarves and Orcs lived together...”
“That's the myth of the 4 races, everyone know about... *ouch*” Bunny's interruption was cut short by Gene using his staff knocking her head. With such an incident, Bunny went into sulking mode, while Gene was shocked by his own actions and pondered deeply by himself. Angel was bemused and split her attention between the pair and Silva.
Ignoring the youngsters, Silva continued: “Aside from the Gods. their Divine Beasts and the Dragons, those were the only 4 sentient races in the world. Gnolls, Lizardmen, Avians, Lycans we see often now, do not yet exist. Through inter race breeding and mutation, Trolls, Gnomes, Hobbits, Half-elves, Gremlins, Goblins, Cyclops, Giants and many more were introduced. The world was simple until 10,000 years ago, when a great human breeder changed the whole world's Eco system.”
A video started playing for the trio.
3 humans gathered at the plains, a priest, a druid and a breeder, swearing a oath to make the world more interesting. Combining their power they started evolving the animals they encounter. They first started with the simplest animal: The Rats. Through evolution, the sewer rats became humanoid creatures called Kobolds, they migrated into caves and created their own society. Aligators and other reptilian beast became the race of Lizardmen, Birds of every kind turned into the various Avians and multiple types of sea creatures made up the merfolks. Further along, Dogs turned into Gnolls, Wolfs into Lycans, Bats into Vampires, Cattle into Minotaurs, Horses into Centaurs, Lions into Gryphons and Snakes into Lamias.
Through their meddling, hundreds of new sentient species were created, some docile, some rebellious, some aloof while other aggressive. Regardless, the 3 treated each and every species equally, every firstborn was blessed to be immortal, looking after their kind. However, being humans, the trio had limited lifespans, after their lifespan ended, the various beast races split up. Some evolved further, while other devolved, some even went extinct.
The video ended. Silva who was standing in front of the youngsters was no longer the jolly old man, but a young boy with silvery white hair, standing at 4 feet tall. He had a pair of rabbit ears as well as bucktooth. Three small horns stuck out from his head.
“My creators named me Silva for my silvery mane, but I am a failure of a guardian. My race had died out and reverted back into common rabbits, leaving me alone in this world. I had tried to mimic my creators to revive my race, but alas, I am not gifted; not in the last 8,000 years am I able to do what my creators had done in their short lifetime.”
“It had been my fleeting dream to see my race prospers once again, a dream I had given up upon... But seeing how talented you are... Do you think I will be able to see such a spectacle one more time?”

Phantasm Encyclopedia
A illusionary book which stores information of all changes within animals you are rearing or breeding. You are able to phase the book into existence to review every change or evolution animals under your care had.

Animals you had evolved will heed your call, regardless of where you are, they are able to blink to your location at the cost of half their health and mana.

When Bunny was done, she looked around and saw Gene was also glowing from receiving a new class. She remembered it being Animist Druid or something, but didn't know what it meant. Even though Gene just got a free ride, Bunny wasn't jealous, because without him, she wasn't sure of getting her current class. The inclusion of Gene allows their classes to mimic the trio in the video.
