It had been roughly 3 days since crossing the border and entering the Uncharted Lands. Despite its name, the Uncharted Lands were charted on more than one occasion. The problem was that the environment of the Uncharted Lands would shift and change at the drop of a hat. It was a bizarre place, where mountains, forests, tundral plains and lakes could appear and disappear in a matter of weeks, thus making navigation by land practically impossible. The monsters in the Uncharted Lands were constantly migrating to stay in their preferred biome as the land and weather shifted on constantly changing intervals.
Logic would therefore dictate, that taking a giant, jet-turbine propelled hovercraft through such a terrible place would be near suicidal. However, what else was Arkhan to lose? He had no where else he could go that would let him live in peace. He could have tried to stay in one of the Human Kingdoms, but it was highly likely that if he did they would either try to kill him or draft him into service, and Arkhan had no intention of dying to or being a servant of another stinking noble. Thus, his only option was to flee to a place that no one would follow. He had to go somewhere that only the foolhardy or the suicidal would go. He had to go to the infamous Uncharted Lands.
By now, the Gallop and its crew were…deep? … into the Uncharted Lands. It was hard to know whether they were deep inside the Uncharted Lands or not due to the constantly shifting terrain and biomes, after all. In just the three days they had been there they had crossed 3 different biomes and watched multiple times as hills would suddenly rise in front of them, only to sink down after they had already turned and gone some ways away. It was almost like the land itself was toying with them, like a cat playing with a mouse.
On two separate occasions, they had to come to a full stop in order to avoid falling into a massive canyon that just happened to form in front of them, only to close up immediately after they stopped as if it was angry they had avoided falling to their deaths. Still, however, the Gallop pressed on. Occasionally, they would see migrating hordes of monsters and use them as target practice for the Gallop’s guns, on one occasion a wall made of diamonds rose out of the ground in between the shells and the monsters and then sank back into the ground when the bombardment finally stopped. Yes, it was obvious. Something, or someone was messing with them. Despite this, they pressed on.
Days turned into weeks, and the Gallop reached what appeared to be a large fortress in the middle(?) of the Uncharted Lands. The gates of the fortress opened, and hordes of Goblins and Goblin Sub-Species swarmed out to meet the Gallop in combat. As they advanced, Arkhan disembarked after noticing that the land and biome hadn’t shifted for over 48 hours.
Suddenly, before the eyes of the stunned monsters, millions of Zaku IIs and commander types appeared, along with thousands of other units and 3 more Gallop – class Land Battleships and 8 Dabude – class Land Battleships. Some of the units were even flying thanks to a recent addition to Arkhan’s skills, Minovsky Craft, which allowed space-only units to be produced and used in atmosphere. Most notably, five MA-04X Zakrello Mobile Armors, each one a 1x1 scale unit, were speeding through the air overhead in formation like giant jet fighters. As the two armies faced each other, a massive hologram of a short figure in a cloak appeared behind the monster army.
“WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE? WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?” The hologram boomed.
Arkhan looked smugly at the hologram.
“I guess the ‘old wives tale’ about the Uncharted Lands being a massive dungeon really are true! Greetings, Mister Dungeon Master! How do you like my army that your monsters helped make?” Arkhan yelled with a grin.
“GO AWAY! NOW! OR I’LL KILL YOU!”
“You tried that, multiple times. During those chaotic past few weeks I nearly expended all out rations and water! We nearly fell to our deaths or collided with walls too many times to count! You have tried desperately to kill us, but over time your attempts grew too easily predicable! We learned to expect that a long straightaway would end with a massive canyon appearing and that we had to fire our guns while moving and at various angles to avoid diamond walls appearing!” Arkhan yelled back.
“THEN HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS A DUNGEON MASTER AND THAT THIS WAS A DUNGEON?”
“Easy! I looked at my Status and the Status of monsters and the environment! Besides, no location on a terrestrial body, even in a land of fiction is this chaotic and yet somehow doesn’t affect the world outside it for no reason! Besides, my father told me about how dungeon environments can change depending on where you are and that if there is a Dungeon Master that they can change the dungeon at will! The Status of the flora and fauna, the shifting land and biomes that don’t affect the world outside, they all point towards a dungeon! The one thing I can’t figure out is why no one else came to this conclusion!” Arkhan shouted as the yelling match between a 6-and-a-half-year-old child and the giant hologram continued.

“WELL, WHAT IF I LET YOU LEAVE AND DON’T BOTHER YOU ANY MORE?” The hologram boomed in a more nervous manner.
Before Arkhan could respond, he received a message from the Zaku II Commander in the bridge of the Gallop.
“Sir, sensors indicate that a massive horde of monsters is making their way here. Combined with the force in front of us, their numbers exceed our own by a 10 to 1 margin. He is stalling! Give the order to attack! Let’s take this bastard down!”
Arkhan frowned.
“You tricky Bastard! You almost had us in a pincer! No more talk! All personnel CUT THEM DOWN! Bring an end to these nuisances!” Arkhan yelled at the hologram before commanding his forces to attack.
Both armies advanced towards each other, before the Zaku IIs and other MSGs opened up on their foes with an overwhelming barrage from their mix of ranged weapons while the Gallops and Dabudes fired incessantly at the large mass of Goblins and Goblin Sub-Species. The forces of the Dungeon Master were torn between attacking their foes in front of them to protect their master and giving in to their cowardice and fleeing. As their numbers dwindled at a faster and faster rate, more and more gave in to their nature and ran for the safety(?) of the fortress. Arkhan entered the Gallop, shutting the entry as tight as possible before ordering his MSGs to arm themselves with G3 Nerve Gas and turn the survivors in the fortress into more experience points.
