The pond shined green as the water carried a small toddler outside. The two High Eunuchs waited till the shine disappeared before nodding towards the Junior Eunuch Hua Jing. He came towards the toddler, smiling from his heart knowing that his protege was just blessed.

He inspected the child who looked like a piece of jade and saw that his yang root disappeared. Truly, something that would be unexpected in Ji's past world! The High Eunuch on the left apparently continued the ceremony, which was supposed to be just the Junior Eunuchs carrying one toddler to the pond, where they sank for a few seconds before rising again.

The normal ceremony might look like the same Ji Li did, but neither did the Tree rattle nor did the pond shine. It seemed very normal, but the Eunuchs all could not think about that anyways. They were too shocked by what happened prior.

The High Eunuch took Ji Li from Hua Jing and s him a bit in his arms while he made his way in front of the statue. below the statue was a small pillow, where he put the toddler who slowly woke up. His eyes opening and shining even brighter.
