Part 8

There was a strange look on Chase’s face. He stared into Jane’s eyes and knew exactly what she was desiring. With a laugh, he waved for her to follow. Madeline watched with a scowl as Jane and Chase vanished into a bedroom.

“What was the point of putting a new shirt on? It’s about to get hot in here,” Jane said with a smirk.

“You have a point, but I think the air conditioner works on this house,” Chase said, booping Jane on the nose gently with his right index finger.

“I know EXACTLY where I belong…crushed under your massive weight,” Jane murmured.

“Ah! You want a hug! Now I understand!” Chase said.

He reached out his large warm arms. Comfortingly, he embraced her in a long hug. She sighed, melting into him. His big sweaty doughy body seemed to engulf her as she snuggled deeper into him.

“I love you, Chase,” Jane said, muffled as she sank into Chase’s fat.

“Hey, careful!” Chase said with a laugh.

Chase removed Jane from his body and kissed her passionately. As the two were distracted, Madeline made her way down the hallway. The door opened and Madeline stepped in briefly. She then left the room without turning around.

“Uhhh, was that your mom?” Chase asked.

“I mean, Thomas is sleeping,” Jane said with an awkward laugh.

“JUST IGNORE ME! I’M GOING TO GO WASH MY EYES OUT!” Madeline exclaimed.

Madeline stayed far away from that bedroom. Meanwhile, Chase had removed his shirt again because even with the air conditioner running, it still was too hot. Thomas remained fast asleep on the couch. Jane, however, did not get her own room, she insisted on snuggling with Chase. (Yes, she still had her clothes on.)

“Are you comfy, my love?” Chase murmured.

“I’m with you, of course I’m comfy,” Jane said.

“Good…” Chase said, holding her tighter.

“I love you,” Jane said.

“I love you too,” Chase said, kissing Jane again.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang! Chase got up so fast that Jane almost got sent flying. Quickly, he grabbed his shirt, threw it back on, and went to answer the door. Who could possibly have wandered to such an abandoned place?

“Pizza delivery for a Mr. Richmond?” the driver asked.

“Huh? Oh, uh… Yeah. Thanks! Here’s a tip!” Chase said and handed the delivery guy a $100 bill.

“That’s $100,” the delivery driver pointed out.

“Yes. Have a good night!” Chase said.

“I ordered you some pizza,” Madeline said. “You said you were hungry.”

“Oh wow, thanks, ma’am!” Chase said, eyes sparkling with joy.

“W-what…?” Thomas asked, waking up half way.

“Nothing, Tommy…” Madeline cooed.

“Okay,” Thomas said. “Wait. You ordered pizza?!”

“Mmm! That’s some good stuff! Thanks, ma’am!” Chase said.

Madeline swiveled around. All the pizza boxes were emptied completely. Chase licks his greasy fingers and turns to return to the bedroom. Thomas then stared at Madeline for a moment and they both sighed and shook their heads.

“Jane, I’m b-BUUUURRRRRPPPPP-ack,” Chase said, belching his pizza breath all over Jane’s sleepy face.

“Oh… Ummm…” Jane said.

“Your mom bought me pizza…using my money, but still!” Chase said with a laugh.

“I thought I smelled pizza on your breath,” Jane said.

“Yeah, there was like, four large pizzas?” Chase said, trying to remember how much he ate.

“You ate all of them? We’ve been over this, it’s not healthy…” Jane said with a groan.

“Scoot over, I’m climbing back in,” Chase said.

Chase climbed back into bed. As soon as Jane got comfy again, he suddenly decided to remove his shirt again. Jane, a bit disgruntled, rolled out of bed so he could get up. Chase removed his shirt again and then belched again.

“Pizza belly,” Chase said.

“Pizza belly,” Jane agreed.

Chase then climbed back into the bed. The bed frame creaked loudly as he did. Jane then climbed back in and snuggled against him. Playfully, she touches his belly, feeling the intense warmth.

“You feel the pizza in there?” Chase asked.

“Sure do,” Jane said.

“I sure am lucky, you know. Lucky that you didn’t hold a grudge against me. You’re too kind,” Chase murmured. “What would I do without you? Live a miserable boring life in the zoo for all of eternity? Get a record for oldest living lion in a zoo?”

“You silly,” Jane said with a chuckle.

“It’s true. I feel like you improved my life. I just wish I could repay the favor, you know?” Chase said.

“You do enough. Don’t worry about it,” Jane said. “I love you.”

“I love you too,” Chase said and then farted.

“OH MY GOSH!” Jane screamed.
