"Such misfortune" Arlain muttered to himself, he could feel a power that was enough to power a capital class space ship, even in his optimal condition he had no chance of fighting whatever was in front of him now, this was truly a hopeless situation...

Feeling Arlain's desperation, Jake knew that they were done for, but he couldn't accept it just yet "Arlain, just leave me here, if it's after me then you might have a chance"

Both chuckled as the power grew bigger and bigger and Arlain chanted his magic again "Impenetrable medalion!!"

"Fucking hell...." Jake bit his lip because of the pain in his head, with blood dripping from his lips and sweat flooding his body, yet his eyes were still clear to fight whatever was coming, seeing Jake's courage, Arlain prepared his magic, at least he would not go down without a fight, at that moment a crack opened from the empty air in front of them, a blood red slash from an unknown dimension appeared.

"W-what is that?" Jake widened his eyes in surprise, while Arlain was surprised that Jake could see it too, at that moment he knew whatever was coming now was very different from the previous one.

A few moments later, a golden light-like tendrils came out from inside the crack.

"HELL FIRE!!" Arlain without hesitation attacked the tendrils with flames that filled the room with red, injecting more of his mana into the spell, like oil poured into the fire, the magic burned the entire room and melted the surroundings like wax, after a few seconds, with the surrounding walls, floors and ceilings burning and dripping lava, and yet the tendrils still survived unharmed.

Seeing that Jake had not given up in front of the unreasonable existence, Arlain could only nod and prepare his magic with his decreasing mana.

At that moment a cracking sound and an explosion sound like something breaking exploded around both of them.
