Chapter 05 Arlain Felfiantaria Duraim Herseim the Great!

"Time to eat" the man in gray armor said as he poured a strange brownish porridge into the compartment tube, flowing in, the strange porridge filled up the bowl that was nailed inside the room, no matter how many times he saw it this food was worse than dog food, looking at the gray armored man who was not wearing his helmet today, Jake could see his face, a young guy with brownish hair, fair skin and bright yellow eyes, Jake just stared at him with hatred because he knew his voice could not come out of the glass wall in front of him even though the sound from outside could enter.

The young dickhead whose name he didn't know returned Jake's gaze and smiled disdainfully before walking away and the room returned to its usual darkness, sighing, Jake sat leaning against the corner of the room, glancing at the disgusting porridge, Jake began to eat reluctantly, they would electrocute him if his food wasn't finished before the next meal came, forcing the sticky and salty porridge down his throat in the dark, Jake counted, trying to remember how long he had been here, if he counted from the two meals they gave him then maybe he had been in this place for a month.

Only a month, only a month I'm here, but it feels like an eternity...

Remembering the first time he woke up in this cell, Jake instinctively held his left ribs, it still hurt a little if he moved suddenly, however this was nothing compared to the first few days when he could barely move, and it turned out that not only were his ribs broken but also his jaw and nose seemed to be broken or cracked which made him unable to even speak, if his food was not porridge he would not be able to eat, even now, he often had severe headaches and had difficulty sleeping, while the healing was much faster than he thought, his jaw felt strange while his ribs and face still hurt.

luckily he didn't die or unfortunately he didn't die, he was now forced to be held in this horrible prison (especially the toilet) he wasn't sure where he was, even now he wondered if the spaceship he saw that night was a hallucination, a mere Fata Morgana.

All he knew was that those bastards must be some kind of human traffickers, it was possible that they drugged him and the spaceship was just his imagination before he was kidnapped, that was a possibility but...

Staring at the glass wall in front of him, across from his cell was a pair of beautiful green eyes glowing in the dark, Jake had seen the owner of those eyes many times when the room had light, inside the glass cell across from him was a beautiful girl with porcelain skin and long beautiful shining blonde hair without wearing anything, but Jake knew she wasn't human from the way her eyes glowed and the two black wings on her back, but what sold it was when the armored guards fed her a carcass of a large animal the size of a cow as the beautiful girl began to eat it greedily from the guts down to the bone, Jake remembered how careful they were and the number of guards with what looked like guns, while the girl was held down with something like a circular seal with swirling writing, exactly the same as the one he remembered keeping him from escaping that night, it looked like magic in his eyes.

He didn't understand, all the guards he met were humans and he had even seen some of their faces, other than the strange hair and eye colors, there was no obvious difference between them and ordinary humans compared to the girl locked up in front of him, and yet they all kept calling him Earth humanis as they had talked about earth as if it was a foreign place, there were also things about the Empire and places or things he had never heard of before.

Spaceships, magic, empire, the more I tried to connect it the more it didn't make sense...

Hanging his head in misery, ironically now he felt that his job and his co-worker were not too bad, compared to being imprisoned in this place, they were still a little better, just a little bit, that's why for the past month he had tried various ways to escape from here to no avail, there was no gap in this glass cell, an airtight prison without any visible ventilation?, and he didn't have any skills or knowledge to support him, the thing is even if he managed to get out, with the many guards in this place it seems almost impossible to escape alive, but he was still far from giving up, if he gave up just because of something like this he would have died long ago.

Closing his eyes to calm his mind, Jake heard a soft rustling sound nearby and a cold sensation touched his hand.

"What's wrong?" Jake said to his friend who had been with him through all this ordeal, with an elastic, mushy body, a glob of pink slime that glowed in the dark with two googly doll-like eyes looking up at him.

He first found it swaying near him when he first woke up shining in a beautiful golden light, at first he was afraid of this living jelly, but after a while he finally got used to it, especially with its ability to glow in the dark really helped him, although the light it gave off was different from the golden light Jake had first seen, making him curious about what was up with it.

Stroking the cold pink slime in his hand, the pink slime quickly backed away and wiggled violently as if protesting, although its fake-like eyes did not show any change at all, it did not seem to like being touched very much, but Jake often played with it to pass the time, embracing, hugging, talking and stroking it, he treated it like his pet even though the slime did not seem to like it, however, it seemed that the slime was quite smart and could think for itself albeit the lack of mouth to speak, yet Jake often saw it as if it was giving a gesture as if it wanted to tell something and oddly enough it seemed kept trying to prevent himself from even looking at the winged girl across the cell.

Thinking about it, this slime is a really strange creature, even the guards don't seem to know what it is, it basically doesn't eat or poop, doesn't talk but is smart, and also... for some reason they seem uncomfortable being near this slime, which even Jake understands, like there is pressure coming from this soft pink creature, although maybe because he was forced to be locked up together, he didn't think about it anymore.

Grabbing the wriggling pink slime into his lap, Jake enjoyed the soft sensation "Hahh... how much longer are we going to be locked up here"

Talking to his pet pink slime, of course it didn't answer but Jake could feel that the slime understood what he said from behind its round eyes.

He was lucky enough to have this creature by his side, helping him slow down the madness of his situation, who knows how much longer they'll be stuck together.

"Ah, that's right, maybe it's time to give you a name, right?" Jake smiled at the pink slime staring at him on his lap, thinking of some names, actually this slime looked pretty cute so it would be better if he gave it a cute name.

"Right! How about Blop! Your name is Blop!" Lifting the blop in his hand with a big smile, Jake waited for Blop to react to its new, cool name.

Swaying gently in his hand, Blop tilted his eyes as if digesting Jake's words then his body glowed golden again, this was the second time Jake saw this beautiful light "You like it?!"

"No thank you! My name is, Arlain Felfiantaria Duraim Herseim the Great!" Blop said calmly.
