The transport arrived back in Scotland as it flew towards the Resistance base the transport flew into the hangar and landed the back door of the transport opened and I stepped off the back door of the transport then closed as I made my way towards the command room where Nitro was waiting "You're back it's good to see that the transport got to you, so what happened on Rulok's Rock?" Nitro asked "Rulok's Rock is destroyed." I said "Then you've done it Josh Rulok's Rock was the last Federation facility every Federation facility has been destroyed and now all that is left is Washington DC." Nitro said "All that is left is Rulok." I said "Yes now that every Federation facility is destroyed we have received a message Viper wants to speak to you in person." Nitro said "So I finally get to meet Viper." I said "Yes it's finally time for you to meet the leader of the Resistance." Nitro explained "So what does Viper want with me?" I asked "I don't know but it must be important if Viper wants to speak to you in person." Nitro replied "So where is Viper?" I asked "Japan, the Resistance has a hideout in Tokyo that's were you'll find Viper the transport will take you into the city it will be up to you to find the Resistance hideout find Viper and find out what this is all about." Nitro said "Right." I said as I turned around and left the command room, I walked towards the crate of ammunition and refilled my ammo before I walked up to the transport the back door of the transport opened and I stepped aboard and sat down "Take me to Tokyo in Japan." I said "Understood." the pilot said as the back door of the transport closed and the transport took off and soared out of the hangar and headed towards Japan.

The transport arrived in Japan as it flew over Tokyo and landed on an elevated landing platform in the city the back door of the transport opened and I stepped off of the transport the back door of the transport then closed I then activated my communicator "Nitro this is Josh, I'm in Tokyo where exactly is the Resistance hideout?" I asked "There is a building next to the racetrack entrance close to the tunnel there will be a guard at the door that won't let you in unless you know the password, the password is Hope." Nitro said "The tunnel, racetrack, what are you talking about?" I asked "There is a huge hole in the center of the city, years before the Federation declared war on all of the other countries in the world the Japanese government discovered a large deposit of resources below the city and so the only way to reach it was to dig a big hole straight to it, when the Federation took over they assumed control of the Japanese mining operations that were going on down there, and as for the race track well just look up." Nitro replied, I looked up and could see a massive racetrack hanging over the city the track was connected to several buildings by large metal beams and even went up and around some of the buildings "Fucking shit." I said "Yep that's the Tokyo City Raceway." Nitro said "Alright, I'll find Viper and report back when we've talked." I said as I deactivated my communicator and walked down a staircase, once I reached the bottom of the stairs I looked ahead and could see Brian, Linda, Belial, Stahl, Manticore and Valeria standing in front of me "You have no idea what's waiting for you in the end Josh."

they said as they rushed towards me and attacked me, I ran from them before I began moving through the city but as I began moving through the city I was suddenly struck from behind I quickly turned around to see what had hit me but I couldn't see anything just then a Demon appeared it had red eyes and horns on it's head I extended my blade and was about to strike the Demon but the Demon vanished "An invisible Demon." I thought, I then activated my Infrared Visor and as I did so I could now see the Demon I plunged my blade into the Demon's chest the Demon roared in agony before it disappeared I retracted my blade before I deactivated my Infrared Visor I then continued moving.

As I walked through the city I could see several Federation patrols on different streets "I need to find the Resistance hideout without being noticed." I thought as I put my assault rifle in my suit's inventory and activated my Cloaking Device I then ran through the streets as I continued moving towards the racetrack, I eventually arrived at the entrance to the racetrack which was a large staircase leading up to the starting line I deactivated my Cloaking Device and looked around I could see a building there was an Asian man with short black hair and brown eyes wearing a black shirt and grey pants that had several pockets on them and black shoes standing next to the door of the building "That must be the Resistance hideout." I said as I walked up to the door but just then the man standing next to the door moved in front of me to block my way just then the man spoke "Password." the man said in a Japanese accent "Hope." I said, the man then moved out of the way allowing me to enter I stepped into the building and as I looked around I could see several tables with people sitting around them eating food it was clear that this building was a restaurant I then noticed a table near the back of the building with several people that looked like Resistance fighters sitting at it I moved towards the table and once I had reached the table there was an Asian man with short black hair and brown eyes wearing a black shirt and brown pants that had several pockets on them and black shoes sitting at the end of the table the man stood up and approached me before he spoke "Who are you?" the man asked in a Japanese accent "I'm Joshua Robert Murday I'm a Resistance fighter from the Resistance base in Scotland, we received a message that Viper wanted to speak to me." I replied "Hold on." the man said as he leaned towards someone sitting in the shadows and began talking to them, I couldn't see who the person sitting in the shadows was just then the man turned back around towards me "Viper says the you have proven yourself to the Resistance, but now you must prove yourself to Viper." the man said "And how will I do that?" I asked "By winning the Tokyo city race, the winner of the race gets a trophy bring that trophy here and then Viper will speak to you." the man said before sitting back down "Alright then." I said as I turned around and left the building.

As I left the building I looked towards the entrance to the racetrack and walked towards it but just then I looked ahead and could see Grimskull as well as several Ghosts standing around me staring at me "Everyone will watch you die." they said as they rushed towards me and attacked me, I ran away from them and began moving up the large staircase up to the starting line when I reached the platform in front of the starting line I could see several people inspecting what looked like floating bikes on the racetrack's starting line I then noticed an Asian man with black hair and brown eyes he was wearing a black fancy outfit and black pants that had several pockets on them and black shoes he was holding a clipboard in one of his hands and a pen in his other hand he was standing next to the track he would talk to people for a moment before pointing at the track and the people would walk up to a stand with protective gear on it and put on a helmet and protective suit before walking onto the track and choosing a bike I walked up to the man before speaking "Hey slant eyes!" I shouted, the man immediately looked up at me with an angry expression I stood there staring at him until he finally said something "You wanna race?" the man asked in a Japanese accent "No I want to stand here and talk to some nip, of course I wanna race!" I shouted "You got a name?" the man said in an angry tone, I looked at the man with an angry expression I was insulted, offended that this guy doesn't know who I am "My name is Joshua Robert Murday perhaps you've heard of me I'm the guy who's fucking up the Federation and saving people like you pancake face!" I said "Pick a bike!" the man said in a frustrated tone as he pointed to the track, I walked towards the track "Fucking jap." I said as I stepped onto the track, I approached one of the floating bikes and began to inspect it I crouched down and waved my hand underneath the bike to see that the bike was not touching the track I then stood up before I sat down on the bike the bike tilted slightly with the sudden introduction of my weight "Whoa." I said as I gripped the handlebars just then I could feel myself being pulled back into the seat and my hands were now gripping the handlebars much more tightly than before and my feet were stuck in place I attempted to move but I realized that I couldn't it was clear that the bike had magnetically attached me to it I then noticed a large harness emerge from the seat and wrap itself around my body I was now completely stuck in the seat of the bike just then my communicator activated and I could hear Nitro begin to speak "Josh what the fuck do you think you're doing!" Nitro asked with an alarmed tone "Um, what?" I asked "We can see you on the racetrack." Nitro said, I looked up and could see several cameras on the starting line "Oh." I said "The race is broadcasted worldwide, you're not actually thinking about participating in that race are you?" Nitro asked "Well apparently Viper wont talk to me unless I win this race and get the trophy so I don't see any other options." I replied as I could hear that the race was about to start "Three!" an announcement said "Josh the Tokyo city race is the most dangerous sport event in the world, doing this would be suicide." Nitro said "Oh come on it's just a race, it can't be that bad." I said "Two!" the announcement said I looked at my bike to try and find the throttle "Um where is the accelerator on this thing?" I asked "One!" the announcement said "There's no accelerator and no brakes, the bikes drive themselves all you have to do is steer." Nitro said "What?" I asked but before I could even process what Nitro had said the announcement spoke "Go!" the announcement said as all of the bikes instantly zoomed down the racetrack.

My body was immediately pressed back into the seat of the bike as it took off "Oh fuck!" I screamed, I struggled to process what was happening as the bikes flew down the track at unbelievable speeds I looked forward and could see a ninety degree left turn coming up quickly I turned the handlebars to the left but didn't quite make the turn as the back end of my bike hung off of the track I struggled to try and get myself back onto the track and once I eventually did so I looked ahead and could see a U-turn that went right I turned the handlebars to the right and made the turn I then noticed that the track went up the side of a skyscraper I gripped the handlebars as I went up the track and once I reached the top I flew off of the track, I looked down to see that the track had ended near the top of the skyscraper and the other racers flew off as well, I then noticed a large crowd of people on the roof of the skyscraper cheering but then I notice one of the racers beginning to fall towards the crowd of people I watched as the racer fell down towards the roof but just then his bike exploded on some kind of force field surrounding the roof I then looked forward and could see that there wasn't any track ahead but as me and the other racers cleared the roof our bikes began speeding down the glass windows on the side of the skyscraper I looked down towards the ground and could see a large hole with three giant blades spinning around the opening "That must be the tunnel." I said "It sure is, try to avoid the big spinning blades if you can." Nitro said "Oh shit." I said as I rapidly approached the tunnel, I sped into the tunnel just narrowly avoiding one of the giant blades the tunnel curved back upwards and as I looked ahead and could see three other racers in front of me I tried to catch up to them but just then a massive Federation supply train sped towards me from the right side of the tunnel "Shit!" I said, I turned the handlebars to avoid the supply train and my bike zoomed up onto the side of the tunnel wall as the supply train sped past I then repositioned myself back towards the center before reaching the end of the tunnel the track then spiraled up around the side of a cylindrical skyscraper and as I was speeding up the track a large spinning blade that was connected to the side of the building and positioned over the track came speeding towards me I narrowly avoided it before I noticed two more blades identical to the one I just evaded coming at me I swerved to avoid the spinning blades before the track went back up to the starting line I passed the starting line and could hear an announcement "Lap two!" the announcement said "I have to do two more laps of that!" I said "I'm afraid so." Nitro said, I gripped the handlebars as I made the first turn again before making the second turn I looked ahead and could see the three racers ahead of me "I need to catch up." I thought as I sped up the track, suddenly I saw Calina standing on the track she rushed towards me and attacked me but I managed to steer around her before me and the other racers jumped over the roof as I was speeding down the side of the building I raced towards the tunnel but just then one of the racers crashed into one of the giant blades his bike erupted into a ball of flames as I zoomed past I raced through the tunnel before another Federation supply train approached from in front but this time it was on the left side of the tunnel I turned up onto the side of the tunnel wall to avoid the supply train before centering myself out and exiting the tunnel I spiraled up the track dodging the spinning blades before me and the other racers zoomed across the finish line "Final lap!" the announcement said, I made the first turn as I came upon the second turn and made it as well I looked ahead and could see the two racers in front fighting for first place suddenly an Angel appeared appeared it had gold eyes and a halo on it's head it wore golden armour the two racers ahead of me swerved to avoid the Angel but one of the racers accidentally drove off the side of the track and exploded on a force field I zoomed past the Angel as it tried to hit me I then looked back and could see the Angel just then one of the racers behind me drove straight into the Angel and exploded the Angel was engulfed in the explosion and once the smoke cleared I could see that the Angel had disappeared "Yeah get fucked!" I said as I made the jump over the roof and began speeding down the side of the building, as I approached the tunnel I gradually got closer to the racer in first place but as I entered the tunnel I could see two Federation supply trains approaching from either side of the tunnel with no where to go I positioned myself in the center of the tunnel as much as I could before the two supply trains sped past on either side of me I squeezed myself in between the two supply trains before they finally passed and I exited the tunnel I zoomed around the spiral I evaded the spinning blade before I noticed that I was right next to the racer in first place we looked at each other for a brief moment before we looked forward and raced towards the finish line we were neck and neck as we swiftly approached the finish line and as we got closer I closed my eyes and gripped the handlebars as hard as I could before we crossed the finish line a loud alarm began to ring as we crossed the finish line and I could feel my bike begin to slow down before stopping "Josh, are you alright?" Nitro asked, I slowly opened my eyes and looked around I could see that my bike had stopped "Is it over?" I asked "See for yourself." Nitro said, I looked around and noticed a large screen on the side of one of the buildings that showed a replay of the race it showed me and the other racer crossing the finish line and as we did it showed a detailed replay of the final moments before the race ended the screen then showed me crossing the finish line in second place.

The screen showed me crossing the finish line by only a few inches behind the other racer and as I watched I could hear crowds of people cheer I just looked down and felt myself getting angry "Fuck!" I screamed "The race is broadcasted worldwide, everyone saw it." Nitro said as I could see crowds of people cheering for the winner of the race "Good I hope everyone saw that because I will never do that again." I huffed, I then noticed the large harness release me before it retracted back into the bike I could then feel my hands, feet and body be released from the bike I got off of the bike and moved towards the large staircase "You needed to win that race in order to get that trophy for Viper, so what are you going to do now?" Nitro asked, I looked over and could see the winner of the race on their bike they got off of their bike before removing their protective gear I then saw that the winner of the race was an Asian man with black hair and brown eyes he was wearing a black shirt and black pants with several pockets on them and black shoes the man received the trophy before walking towards the staircase "Oh I'll get that trophy." I said as I deactivated my communicator and began following the man, I followed the man down the stairs and into the street I used my Cloaking Device to make sure I stayed hidden as I stalked the man I followed him through the streets and I watched as he entered an apartment building I then deactivated my Cloaking Device and entered the apartment building and once inside I saw the man walk up a staircase and enter one of the apartments I walked up the stairs and approached the door leading to the apartment that the man entered I was about to enter the apartment but just then I thought about something "I need to do this quietly." I thought before I remembered that Demon armour that I picked up in Hell "Mute Device I wonder what that does?" I thought, I then thought about activating my Mute Device and once I did so I noticed that I could no longer hear anything I pulled out my assault rifle and fired several shots but I couldn't hear the sounds of gunfire I then opened the door and could see the man he didn't seem to notice the sounds of gunfire either "So my Mute Device eliminates all sound around me." I thought, I then put my assault rifle away and extended my blade before I lunged towards the man and butchered him as my blade sliced through his flesh he dropped the trophy on the floor as he collapsed to the floor dead I retracted my blade before I deactivated my Mute Device and as soon as I did so I noticed that I could hear again I then picked the trophy up off of the floor I then turned around and saw Skitter, De'vorah, and Vex standing in the corner of the room just then he rushed towards me and attacked me, I ran out of the apartment before I left the building and made my way back towards the Resistance hideout I arrived at the Resistance hideout and I approached the man standing by the door "Hope." I said and the man stepped aside and allowed me to enter as I entered the restaurant I walked towards the table near the end of the restaurant and could see the group of Resistance fighters sitting there the man sitting at the end of the table stood up and approached me "We saw you in that race..." the man said, he was about to say more but then he saw the trophy in my hands "You didn't win the race, how did you get the trophy?" the man asked "You said I needed the trophy well I have the trophy now let me see Viper." I said, the man stared at me for a moment before the rest of the Resistance fighters sitting at the table stood up and moved away from the table as the person sitting in the shadows stood up and approached me the person then stepped into the light and I could see what they looked like the person was an Asian woman with long black hair that was in a pony tail she had brown eyes she was wearing a white shirt and black pants that had several pockets on them and black shoes she was wearing grey armour and she had a katana in a sheath on her waist "You're Viper?" I asked "Yes and I have called you here to talk." the woman said in a Japanese accent "Okay then, let's talk." I said as I put the trophy on the table and we sat down.

I sat at one side of the table as Viper sat at the other side of the table directly across from me "You've executed your missions extremely well and have made quite an impression on the people of the world, the people are fighting back against the Federation and now I believe the time has come for us to destroy the Federation once and for all." Viper said "How will we do that?" I asked "A full scale invasion of the United States Of America." Viper replied "And just how are we going to do that?" I asked "You have given the people of the world hope and with that hope the people will follow you anywhere, we will relay our message to the world and announce our plan we will ask everyone to join us and take back the world" Viper said "You've got to be fucking kidding me, that's your plan?" I asked, Viper stared at me with a stern expression "You really think Humanity is going to come together to destroy the Federation?" I asked "Do not underestimate hope, it is more powerful than you can imagine." Viper said "That's bullshit!" I barked as everyone in the restaurant turned to look at me "Almost everyone in the world is dead the Federation wiped out ninety percent of the Human population you really think that the few people that remain on Earth are going to come together and destroy the Federation!" I said, Viper just stared at me "Almost everyone is dead but the few that remain will come together and they will fight." Viper said "We can't save the world, there is no world left to save." I said "Trust me everyone will come together and fight." Viper said, I let out a sigh before lowering my head "Fine." I said as Viper stood up and began to walk through the restaurant, me and the other Resistance fighters followed her out of the restaurant and into the street we then walked up the stairs back towards the racetrack and once we reached the starting line Viper nodded at one of the Resistance fighters and he tampered with the camera controls from a nearby computer, just then all of the cameras on the starting line faced towards Viper "People of the world I am Viper leader of the Resistance, for years we have lived under the Federation's oppression but now the time has come for us to rise up and take back our world, we will launch a full scale invasion of the United States Of America and wipe the Federation from the face of the Earth we ask everyone to gather whatever you can and join us, please come and fight!" Viper said before the cameras deactivated just then two Federation gunship appeared from behind a nearby building and began to fire on the starting line we jumped out of the way to avoid the fire before Viper turned towards me "We need to get back to the Resistance base in Scotland." Viper said "Follow me." I said as we began running down the stairs.

I looked down at the streets below and could see several Federation soldiers approaching the racetrack entrance I pulled my assault rifle out of my suit's inventory but just then several Resistance fighter emerged from behind buildings and began attacking the Federation soldiers "Our Resistance fighters will cover our escape, get us to the transport." Viper said as we continued down the stairs, once we reached the bottom of the stairs we ran through the streets back towards the landing platform as bullets whistled all around us I turned and shot any soldiers that tried to stop us as we continued running, the streets of Tokyo had become a battlefield we continued to run through the streets as I switched to my flamethrower to burn any Federation soldiers that got too close we eventually made it to the landing platform we ran up the stairs and approached the transport but just then the transport began to take off I activated my communicator and changed it to the correct channel to talk to the pilot "Pilot where are you going?" I asked "I have to take off something is coming in!" the pilot said and just then a Federation transport carrying a large container flew in I deactivated my communicator as the Federation transport dropped the large container onto the landing platform and flew away just then the doors of the large container burst open and a Hybrid stepped out the Hybrid looked almost Human it was huge and had large muscles it's body was covering in brown armour and it had a helmet that had large spikes protruding out of it it's hands were replaced by large spiked mallets "It's a Hybrid!" Viper yelled as the other Resistance fighters all raised their guns but just then the Hybrid let out a loud roar before it rushed towards us and we all scattered to avoid it's attack I stood next to Viper as the other Resistance fighters attempted to kill the Hybrid "Josh can you deal with this thing!" Viper asked I turned to look at her "Of course I can." I said before switching to my rocket launcher I then fired a rocket into the Hybrid and upon the rocket hitting the Hybrid the rocket exploded and the Hybrid recoiled before turning towards me and charging at me I used my Thruster Pack and narrowly avoided the Hybrid's attack before firing another rocket which collided into the Hybrid causing it to roar in pain the Hybrid then turned around before the spiked mallets on it's hands began to spin rapidly just then the Hybrid swung it's arms and the spinning spiked mallets then detached from the Hybrid's arms and flew towards me I barely managed to avoid one of its spiked mallets but then the other spiked mallet hit me causing me to fall towards the landing platform I landed on the landing platform as I struggled to stand up before looking at the Hybrid and noticing that it's spiked mallets were connected to it's arms by long retractable cables the Hybrid then retracted it's spiked mallets before it charged at me again I managed to avoid it and as the Hybrid passed me I noticed that it was now standing close to the edge of the landing platform the Hybrid then turned around and attempted to charge me again but just then it stopped I looked and noticed Viper had used her katana to cut into the leg of the Hybrid "Josh hit it now!" Viper yelled as I raised my rocket launcher and fired, Viper then pulled her katana out of the Hybrid's leg and then she jumped out of the way as my rocket collided with the Hybrid the Hybrid then stumbled back from the explosion and fell off the edge of the landing platform, I stood there breathing heavily as Viper approached me "The Federation sends it's Hybrids to attack us." Viper said I just looked at her "Yeah I've killed plenty of these Hybrids." I said as I reloaded my rocket launcher before switching to my assault rifle I then activated my communicator to contact the pilot "Pilot the landing platform is clear come and get us." I said "Roger that Josh I'm coming in." the pilot said, I deactivated my communicator before the transport arrived and landed the back door of the transport opened and I watched as Viper and the other Resistance fighters that were following us stepped aboard once everyone was in I entered the transport and sat down "Get us back to the Resistance base." I said as the back door of the transport closed and the transport took off I then activated my communicator "Nitro this is Josh, I've got Viper and were on our way back to the Resistance base." I said "Good, we saw Viper's message I hope that we can..." but before Nitro could finish his sentence I heard a loud bang on my communicator "Fuck!" Nitro screamed "What is it?" I asked "We're under attack, it's the Federation they've found us, get back to the Resistance base now..." Nitro said before the transmission cut out "Nitro are you there?" I asked but there was no response "What's happening?" Viper asked "The Resistance base in Scotland in being attacked by the Federation." I replied as I deactivated my communicator "We need to get over there and help them, pilot get us back to the Resistance base now!" Viper said as the transport flew out of the city I looked out of the transport window and could see that the entire city was burning I then looked back as the transport made it's way back towards Scotland as the sun began to rise.
