The transport arrived back in Scotland as it flew towards the Resistance base before flying into the hangar and landing the back door of the transport opened I then stepped out the back door of the transport then closed as I made my way towards the command room where I could see Nitro "You're back I've got you're next mission." Nitro said "Alright." I said "We've intercepted a Federation transmission the Federation have a facility in Zenemayia in Baselgur I want you to take it out." Nitro said "Sure thing." I replied "The transport will take you to the outskirts of Zenemayia get in there and destroy that Federation facility." Nitro said "I'm on it." I said as I turned around and walked out of the command room, I walked up to the crate of ammunition and refilled my ammo before I walked up to the transport the back door of the transport opened and I stepped aboard just then I looked and could see Stahl standing just outside of the transport he had black eyes just then he rushed towards me and attacked me but before he could reach me the back door of the transport closed "Take me to Zenemayia in Baselgur." I said "Alright Josh." the pilot replied as the transport took off and flew out of the hanger before making it's way towards Baselgur.

The transport arrived in Baselgur as it landed just on the outskirts of Zenemayia the back door of the transport opened and I stepped out the back door of the transport then closed as I activated my communicator "Nitro this is Josh, I'm ready to begin." I said "Alright Josh the Federation facility is somewhere in the city, find it and destroy it." Nitro said "Will do." I said as I deactivated my communicator, I then began moving towards the city but just then I could see Linda, Brian, De'vorah and Belial as well as several Ghosts just then they rushed towards me and attacked me, I ran from them as I approached the city.

I entered the city and could see Federation soldiers everywhere I ran into a nearby alley to avoid being spotted I walked to the other side of the ally before I poked my head out into the street to try and find the Federation facility I looked around but I couldn't see any Federation facility just then I heard a noise coming from behind me I turned around and could see a Hybrid standing there the Hybrid looked almost Human but it was short it crawled on it's hands and feet which had sharp claws on them there were metal spikes coming out of it's body and it had a large metal spike coming out of it's mouth the Hybrid screeched at me before it began quickly crawling towards me I wasted no time evading it's attack before I extended my blade and sliced the Hybrid as it ran past me the Hybrid then collapsed to the ground dead "What the fuck." I retracted my blade before I continued moving through the city.

I continued moving through the city searching for the Federation facility but I couldn't find it I ran from alley to alley as I kept searching I continued moving through the city but just then I heard what sounded like screaming I turned to face where the sound was coming from and I could see several people in the street running away from a group of Angels I then heard gunfire I turned to face where the sound of gunfire was coming from and I could see a group of Federation soldiers fighting a group of Demons I stood there looking back and fourth between the Angels and the Demons as I began to think "There's not about to be a..." I thought before I tried to reason with myself "No surely not." I thought but just then I heard the dreaded sound of the cathedral bells ringing "Fuck!" I screamed as my suspicions were confirmed and I wasted no time sprinting towards the cathedral.

I ran through the streets as I heard the cathedral bells ring the cathedral bells ringing means only one thing this city was about to become a battlefield for the Angels and the Demons I looked around as I ran and I could see groups of people running towards the cathedral just like I was doing I could also see several Angels and Demons appear and begin attacking each other killing anybody that got caught in the crossfire as I was running I noticed several Federation soldiers emerge from different streets and begin attacking the Angels and the Demons the Federation soldiers managed to kill a few of the smaller Angels and the Demons but the Federation soldiers were quickly killed by the larger Angels and Demons I continued running as more Angels and Demons appeared I did my best to avoid any Federation soldiers that showed up as I continued running towards the cathedral just then several Angels and Demon appeared in front of me they began attacking each other before they noticed me the Angels and the Demons then began attacking me I dodged their attacks as I raised my assault rifle and began firing I managed to kill some of the Angels and the Demons but more Angels and Demons kept appearing and I quickly realized that I couldn't fight my way out of this situation I stopped attacking the Angels and the Demons and ran towards the cathedral and the Angels and the Demons that were attacking me began chasing me, I ran as I got closer to the cathedral and as I ran I looked around and could see that the entire city had become a battlefield Angels and Demons were fighting each other in every street people were being slaughtered and the Federation soldiers tried to kill the Angels and the Demons but they were overwhelmed I continued running until I finally arrived at the cathedral I looked up and could see the colossal cathedral in front of me cathedrals are built in every Human city they are always built in the center of the city and they are so big that they take up most of the city and every cathedral is built to be exactly the same, I looked ahead and could see the grand staircase that led up to the great hall I wasted no time running up the grand staircase and as I ran I looked around and could see several other people running up the grand staircase as well the people running up the grand staircase were fortunate enough to have escaped the Angels and the Demons but we were not safe yet once we reached the top of the grand staircase and entered the great hall then we would be safe from the Angels and the Demons, I ran up the grand staircase as people frantically ran past me it took awhile to reach the top of the grand staircase but eventually I made it and once I reached the top of the grand staircase I looked ahead and could see a massive door that led to the great hall I quickly ran up to the massive door as it opened I watched the other people in the city enter the great hall I then looked back and could see that the entire city was burning there were Angels and Demons everywhere I then noticed a building in the city that looked like a Federation facility and I watched as the Federation facility was destroyed by the Angels and the Demons I sighed as I walked through the massive door and once everyone was inside the great hall the massive door closed.

I took a moment to catch my breath before I looked around the great hall the great hall was a massive room that was built in the center of the cathedral there were countless pews in rows leading up to the front of the great hall the entire room was illuminated by candles as well as light that shined in from large windows the large windows were made of stained glass and they had iron bars covering them I could see all of the people that made it to the cathedral they were all sitting in the pews I could hear people talking I could hear children crying and I could hear the elderly coughing all of the people in the great hall were being looked after by the members of the cathedral the Bishops, the Clerics and the Nuns gave out food and water to the people as well as tended to the injured the different members of the cathedrals have different roles in the cathedrals depending on the type of member that they are Bishops perform the day to day tasks in the cathedrals, Clerics are the leaders of the cathedrals and Nuns do the menial work around the cathedrals I looked around and noticed that there were no Federation soldiers in the great hall they must all be in the streets getting killed by the Angels and the Demons I then looked towards the front of the great hall and could see an elevated platform with a podium in the center of the elevated platform I put my assault rifle away before I began walking past the people and the members of the cathedral I made my way towards the elevated platform and once I arrived at the elevated platform I looked and could see the podium in the center of the elevated platform and sitting on the podium was the Codex, the Codex is the scripture of Akasha and Desiree Akasha and Desiree created the Codex and the Codex contains the laws and the teachings of Akasha and Desiree Akasha and Desiree gave countless copies of the Codex to every creature in the universe so that every creature in the universe would understand the laws and the teachings of Akasha and Desiree every cathedral has one copy of the Codex but despite the fact that Akasha and Desiree created the Codex in order to establish their laws and their teachings unto every creature in the universe Humanity twists the words of the two Gods and reinterprets the Codex to say whatever Humanity wants it to say so that Humanity can get what it wants Humanity has committed countless atrocities using their false reinterpretation of the Codex, I then looked ahead and could see two large statues behind the podium one of the statues was on the left and the other statue was on the right the two statues depicted a beautiful woman with their arms outstretched as if they were receiving praise I looked up at the two statues and could see that the statue on the left depicted Akasha and the statue on the right depicted Desiree I stared up at the two statues as I could hear the voices of the people in the great hall and as I gazed at the two statues I noticed that the voices of the people in the great hall were becoming quieter until eventually I couldn't hear them anymore the great hall was completely silent I then noticed that I could no longer move I couldn't move my body I couldn't blink I couldn't even breathe I was completely paralyzed I should have been scared but I wasn't I was perfectly calm suddenly I felt the presence of two beings behind me I could feel pure, raw, absolute power radiating from the two beings I could feel the two beings looking at me it was as if they were looking right through me it was as if I couldn't hide any of my secrets from them just then the two beings approached me as I stood unable to move the two beings placed one of their hands on my shoulders the two beings then lowered their heads down until they were each on either side of my head they moved close to my ears and in that moment the two beings spoke to me "Come to me." the two beings said simultaneously "Yes." I answered and in that moment I knew exactly who the two beings were the two beings were Akasha and Desiree.

I suddenly collapsed to the floor I breathed heavily as I could hear the voices of the people in the great hall again I looked behind me to try and see Akasha and Desiree but they were no longer there I stood up as I took several deep breaths suddenly I heard a door open I looked towards the door and could see a Priest enter the great hall the Priest was a man with white skin and short brown hair and blue eyes he was wearing a black Priest outfit and black pants with several pockets on them and black shoes Priests are members of the cathedrals Priests are the ones that give the sermons the Priest looked at all of the people in the great hall before he noticed me standing near the podium the Priest walked up to me before he spoke "Well out of all the people in here I didn't expect to see you Josh." the Priest said "Umm do I know you?" I asked "No of course not but I know you everyone knows you, you're Joshua Robert Murday the man that the Federation fears." the Priest said, just then the entire cathedral shook and everyone in the great hall screamed in terror the Angels and the Demons must have killed all of the people who didn't make it to the cathedral and now they've begun attacking the cathedral to try and kill all the people in the cathedral just then the Priest turned to the crowd of people and spoke "Everyone do not fear for we are in the cathedral the two Gods will protect us, let us give our praise to Akasha and Desiree." the Priest said as everyone in the great hall began to praise Akasha and Desiree, despite the war between Akasha and Desiree everyone still loves, praises and worships both Akasha and Desiree even with the Angels and the Demons appearing to wage war with each other and killing everything in their path people still come to these cathedrals to worship Akasha and Desiree I stared at the crowd of people as they praised and worshipped Akasha and Desiree and I was baffled by what I was seeing even with the Angels and the Demons just outside of the cathedral ready to slaughter everyone in the cathedral these people still worship the two Gods the Priest then looked over at me and could see that I wasn't praising Akasha and Desiree "Josh is something wrong?" the Priest asked "Yeah everything is wrong." I replied, the Priest looked at me with a concerned expression "After everything that has happened after the Angels and the Demons showed up and destroyed the city and slaughtered everyone you're all going to get down on your knees and praise Akasha and Desiree!" I said, an angry expression grew on the Priest's face as everyone in the great hall stopped what they were doing and looked at me "You dare speak in such a way about the two Gods!" the Priest said "Look at all of you praising and worshiping the two Gods after they sent their armies to come and slaughter you, Akasha and Desiree don't care about any of us the Angels and the Demons are constantly showing up to wage war on one another and they kill everything in their path the two Gods don't care about us we mean nothing to them." I said "Akasha and Desiree love Humanity!" the Priest protested "Humanity why would Akasha and Desiree ever love us especially when Humanity twists the laws and the teachings of Akasha and Desiree in order to get what they want." I said, the Priest then turned to face me before pointing his finger at me "How dare you, Akasha and Desiree will punish you for such vile words!" the Priest yelled, I had enough of listening to the Priest I turned to face the Priest before I pulled out my assault rifle pointed it at the Priest and pulled the trigger the sound of the gunshot echoed throughout the great hall as the Priest collapsed to the floor dead just then everyone in the great hall began screaming I then switched to my machine gun and proceeded to shoot everyone in the great hall I gunned down everybody in the great hall I shot and killed every man, every woman, every child, every elderly, every Bishop, every Cleric and every Nun and once everyone in the great hall was dead I lowered my machine gun before I spoke "You have the audacity to praise the two Gods that are trying to kill you, you do not deserve the life that they gave you." I said, just then I saw the massive door that me and everyone else had used to enter the great hall open I then watched as a man entered the great hall the man was tall he was wearing cathedral armour that was dark grey he was holding a cathedral weapon in one of his hands it was a massive hammer he was holding a Demon in his other hand the Demon struggled to try and free itself from the man's grip just then the man dropped the Demon on the floor before he used his massive hammer to kill the Demon the Demon disappeared as the man looked around the great hall and could see the dead bodies of everyone he then looked at me and could see that I was standing on the elevated platform with my machine gun in my hands the man then quickly deduced that I was the one who killed everyone in the great hall the man gripped his massive hammer tightly "Oh fuck I forgot about the Zealot." I thought, Zealots are members of the cathedrals the Zealots protect the cathedrals and anyone inside of the cathedrals from anything that would try to harm them the Zealot gripped his massive hammer before he began stomping towards me "Alright big boy let's go!" I said as I raised my machine gun and sprinted towards the Zealot.

I ran towards the Zealot as the Zealot stomped towards me we got within a few meters of each other before the Zealot swung his massive hammer at me I jumped to avoid his attack I then raised my machine gun and began firing at the Zealot but my bullets barely scratched his cathedral armour the Zealot then turned to face me before he swung his massive hammer again this time he swung his massive hammer into the ground causing the entire cathedral to shake I struggled to maintain balance as the cathedral shook I then switch to my rocket launcher and fired at the Zealot my rocket managed to hit the Zealot and the explosion caused him to stumble backwards the Zealot then quickly recovered before he swung his massive hammer at me again I barely managed to avoid his attack before I fired another rocket this time I hit the Zealot's arm causing him to drop his massive hammer I saw his massive hammer fall to the floor I then got an idea I quickly put my rocket launcher away before I ran towards the Zealot's massive hammer I then grabbed the massive hammer and lifted it up I then held the massive hammer above my head before I used my Thruster Pack to fly into the air with the massive hammer in my hands and once I was near the ceiling I swung the massive hammer down and used my Thruster Pack to launch myself towards the Zealot the Zealot looked up at me and tried to brace for my attack but he was too late I hit the Zealot with the massive hammer the massive hammer crushed the Zealot killing him the force of the impact was so great that it caused the entire cathedral to shake I let go of the massive hammer and used my Thruster Pack to descend down to the floor just then I could feel the entire cathedral continue to shake the shaking became more and more violent I looked around and could see the cathedral begin to collapse I then realized that the force of the impact from hitting the Zealot with the massive hammer was so great that it had damaged the cathedral and now the entire cathedral was collapsing "Oh shit." I said as I pulled out my assault rifle and ran towards the massive door I opened the massive door and was back outside.

I looked around and could see that the entire cathedral was falling apart I activated my communicator to and changing it to the correct channel to contact the pilot "Pilot this is Josh I need a pick up now!" I said "I heard the cathedral bells the entire city is burning are you at the cathedral?" the pilot asked "Yes and the cathedral is about to collapse so you need to come get me now!" I replied "Alright Josh I'm coming to ya." the pilot said, I deactivated my communicator as I began running around the exterior of the cathedral, I ran around the exterior of the cathedral looking for an open area where the transport could pick me up and as I was running I noticed several Angels and Demons attacking the cathedral it didn't take them long to notice me I raised my assault rifle and shot any Angel and Demon I came across the smaller ones died with little trouble but the larger ones were a problem I shot at any Angel and Demon that I saw as I continued running I ran across the exterior of the cathedral as Angels and Demons attacked me and the cathedral became more unstable eventually I arrived at a large open area on the cathedral and looked around "Come on where are you?" I said but just then I saw the transport fly overhead before it turned around and hovered just beyond the large open area the back door of the transport opened and I wasted no time jumping onto the transport the back door of the transport then closed as the transport quickly flew away I then looked out of the transport window and watched as the entire cathedral completely collapsed I then took a deep breath before I sat down "That was a little too close." the pilot said, I then activated my communicator to contact Nitro "Nitro it's Josh." I said "Josh we heard about what happened in Zenemayia are you alright?" Nitro asked "Yeah I'm fine, I managed to get out of the city." I said "Well I'm glad to hear you alright, did you managed to destroy that Federation facility by any chance?" Nitro asked "I didn't have to destroy that Federation facility the Angels and the Demons did it for me." I said "Well that's good come on back to the Resistance base and I'll have another mission ready for ya." Nitro said "Yeah I'm coming back." I said as I deactivated my communicator "Let's go back to the Resistance base." I said "You got it Josh." the pilot said, I looked out of the transport window and could see the entire city burning I then looked forwards as the transport flew away from city before making it's way back towards Scotland.
