I looked around and could see tall buildings surrounding me and roads with vehicles driving on them and people walking on the sidewalks it was clear that I was in a city, I then looked back at the prison before darting my head around "I escaped!" I said, I shook my head before putting the keycard in one of the pouches on my suit's waist I then began walking down one of the streets and as I walked I suddenly heard a loud explosion coming from behind me I turned around and could see that the prison that I had just escaped from was now destroyed I stood there trying to figure out what could have caused the prison to be destroyed but then I remembered that large device that I shot as I was escaping the prison "That large device that I shot while I was escaping that prison must have exploded and destroyed the whole damn prison, all of those other prisoners in that prison definitely didn't survive that explosion... oh well." I said before I turned back around and continued walking, as I walked I could see a group of soldiers running towards me I gripped my assault rifle and braced for a fight but as the soldiers approached they just ran past me and moved towards the now destroyed prison "They don't know that I escaped the prison and that I was the one that destroyed the prison, they must think I'm just another soldier I mean I am wearing one of their armour suits." I said as I continued walking, as I came to an intersection I looked around and could see more roads that stretched on for miles I darted my head around unsure of what to do next but then I thought back to the prison and tried to remember what the soldiers said about this suit "Those soldiers said that they were keeping this suit safe from the Resistance." and then it hit me "The Resistance, one of the soldiers said that there is some kind of Resistance and they have a hideout somewhere in this city." I thought as I began moving through the city looking for the Resistance hideout.

I walked through the city unsure if I would ever find the Resistance hideout and eventually I decided to take a break and rest up a bit I walked into a nearby alley to find a place to rest and as I reached the end of the alley I saw a large dumpster next to a wall some boxes and something large covered by a tarp suddenly the large dumpster opened and a person jumped out of it I jumped back as they emerged I closed my eyes for a moment as I walked backwards until my back hit the wall of the alley and as I opened my eyes again and looked at the person it was a woman with white skin and short blonde hair and blue eyes she was tall she was wearing a yellow shirt and black pants that had several pockets on them and black boots she wore armour that was grey the woman was muscular and she was carrying a rocket launcher the woman approached me as she pointed the weapon to my head "Alright ya Federation bastard any last words before I blast ya into pieces!" the woman said in a Scottish accent "Whoa whoa whoa calm down, I'm not with the Federation." I said "Oh yeah prove it!" the woman said, I looked around unsure of what to do "Talking to this bitch would be a lot easier if my helmet was open." I thought and just then my suit's helmet opened up "Hey I know you." the woman said, I stared back at her with a confused look "You do?" I asked as I could smell an overwhelming stench of tobacco coming from the woman "Yeah you're the lad who escaped from the Federation prison." the woman said as she lowered her weapon "You know about that?" I asked as I coughed "Okay helmet you can close now I really don't want to smell that." I thought and as if hearing my thoughts my suit's helmet closed "Oh yeah the Federation put out a message saying that a prisoner had escaped from the prison they showed a picture of what he looks like, I also saw that explosion that came from the prison do you know what could have caused that explosion?" the woman asked, I was about to tell her about the large device that I shot while I was escaping the prison but then I thought about the other prisoners that were in the prison I shot that device which destroyed the prison and all of those prisoners definitely died from that explosion "No I have no idea what caused that explosion." I lied "All of the prisoners in that prison were Resistance fighters and innocent people that the Federation captured I doubt any of them survived that explosion, well at least you made it out of that prison before it exploded." the woman said "Yeah lucky me." I said "How the fuck did you manage to escape from the Federation prison and get your hands on one of the Federation's armour suits?" the woman asked "I used this." I said as I pulled my keycard out from my suit's pocket "Fucking shit a Federation keycard, how the fuck did you get your hands on that." the woman asked "Let's just say I borrowed it from one of the Federation's soldiers." I said, the woman then began to laugh "What's your name lad?" the woman asked "Josh." I said "Well nice to meet you Josh, I'm Mayhem and I am a Resistance fighter." Mayhem said "You're with the Resistance." I said "Aye." Mayhem said "I want in." I said "Hold on there lad you don't just ask to be a Resistance fighter we need to make sure you're Resistance material first." Mayhem said "And how do you do that?" I asked "We need to put you through a few tests to see if you can handle yourself." Mayhem said "Well I already escaped from the Federation prison, snagged one of their keycards and stole one of their armour suits." I said "Fair point but I need to see if you can be trusted." Mayhem said "Okay so what do I have to do? I asked "One of our Resistance fighters went through the city on a recon mission, I want you to find him and bring him back here safely." Mayhem said "Sounds easy enough, so where can I find him." I said "In his last transmission he said that he was on the corner of fifth and twenty third street, go there and find him." Mayhem said "I'll get it done." I said as I turned around and began walking out of the alley, I left the alley and began moving through the city.

I walked through the streets and as I was walking I was able to just walk right past any soldier I came across I'm wearing a Federation armour suit so the soldiers just assume that I'm one of them they don't know that I stole this suit at least not yet I walked through the streets before I began to wonder how I would find this guy "The corner of fifth and twenty third street, where's that?" I though as I came to an intersection I then looked up to the street sign and saw that all of the streets were numbered "Oh well that's convenient." I thought as I crossed the street, I eventually made my way to the corner of fifth and twenty third street I looked around and could see a man with white skin and blue eyes wearing a green shirt and black pants with several pockets on them and brown boots standing on the corner of the sidewalk looking around nervously "That must be him." I thought as I approached the man and as I did so he glanced over at me his eyes widened before he darted his head down "Um excuse me." I said "What seems to be the problem sir." the man said "Oh I'm not with the Federation, Mayhem sent me to come and get you." I said "Keep your damn voice down you want every soldier in the city to hear you!" the man snarled "Oh right." I said "Mayhem said that she would send someone to escort me back to the hideout but shit man don't scare me like that." the man said "Let's not wait around for a group of soldiers to figure out what were up to, get me back to the Resistance hideout." the man said "Right follow me." I said as I began heading back towards the alley.

As we walked through the city I noticed the man behind me keeping a fair distance from me "You alright back there?" I said as I looked back "Don't look at me you'll draw unwanted attention." the man said "Alright fuck." I said as I looked forward, we eventually made our way back to the alley and as we entered I could see Mayhem standing in the alley smoking a cigar as she waited for us "You're back." Mayhem said "Yep, and I've brought back your Resistance fighter." I said as the man approached us "Move!" the man said as he stormed past me and opened up the dumpster that Mayhem jumped out of and climbed inside, I let out a frustrated sigh and shook my head "Well isn't he just a ray of sunshine don't worry you'll get used to it, come with me I'll give you you're next test." Mayhem said as she walked up to the dumpster, I followed her and we both climbed inside and as I looked inside the dumpster I could see a small staircase leading down the dumpster lid closed behind us as we walked down the stairs and entered a small room with several crates of weapons and ammunition scattered about there was a shelf on one of the walls that had surveillance equipment on it and in the center of the room was a small table with a map of the city I was in the map showed all the streets in the city and their numbers it also showed all the different buildings in this city there were four buildings on the map that were bigger than the rest two were shown to be close to the center of the city one was in the center of the city and one was at the top of the city, the two near the center were labeled "Prison." and "Command center." with the one in the center labeled "Cathedral." and the one at the top labeled "Capitol Building." I looked at the very top of the map and could see the words "Washington DC." written.

Mayhem placed her hands down on the table as she continued to smoke her cigar "Alright lad you ready for you're next test." Mayhem said but before I could answer the man I had escorted stepped into view "Now just hold on, who the fuck is he?" the man asked "A new Resistance fighter, calm you're nerves lad." Mayhem replied "Going on these recon missions is stressful enough but then you send someone dressed up in Federation armour to come and get me." the man said "You're alive aren't you just consider yourself lucky you made it back in one piece, so what did you find out?" Mayhem asked "I learned that the Federation has a supply convoy coming in today, it will be heading for the Federation command center and will move all the way through twelfth street until it gets there." the man said "When will this convoy be arriving?" Mayhem asked "In about one hour." the man replied "Alright, I have you're next test ready for you." Mayhem said as she looked at me "Bring it on." I said "I need you to take out that Federation supply convoy before it reaches the Federation command center." Mayhem said "You got it." I said as I turned around and walked towards the stairs I then walked back up the stairs and out of the dumpster, I walked out of the alley and began moving towards twelfth street.

I moved through the city as I made my way towards twelfth street I then arrived at twelfth street and I looked around to see if I could spot the Federation supply convoy I looked down the street both ways but saw nothing "The Federation supply convoy must not have come through yet." I thought, I began to wonder how I was going to destroy the Federation supply convoy I then looked around I saw a Federation soldier walking down the sidewalk I then had an idea I quickly ran into a nearby alley and as the soldier walked past the alley I jumped out and grabbed him and threw him into the alley I then pointed my assault rifle at him and shot him and he was dead I then looked around to make sure nobody saw what I was doing and could see a group of vehicles driving down the street towards me, there were two armored vehicles with a machine gun on top of each of them one armoured vehicle was in the front and one in the back with a large supply truck in-between them "That must be the Federation supply convoy." I thought, just then I heard something moving behind me I quickly turned around to see what it was and in the corner of the alley some kind of creature jumped out of a pile of trash bags the creature looked almost Human but the lower half of it's body was missing it had a mostly skeletal head that was long and narrow and two long arms that the creature used to move the creature lunged towards me as I raise my arms to block it and as it collided with me it latched itself onto me I struggled to shake the creature off before I finally managed to grab it and throw it to the ground I then fired at the creature until the creature was dead "What are these things their like Hybrids?" I said as I heard the Federation supply convoy approaching me "Shit." I said as I quickly grabbed the dead soldier and tossed him into the middle of the street I then reloaded my assault rifle as the Federation supply convoy approached I then noticed that quite a few people were starting to gather in the area "Damn I guess those gunshots didn't go unnoticed." I said before the Federation supply convoy stopped right in front of the dead soldier's body several soldiers jumped out of the vehicles and began looking around I then stepped out of the alley raised my assault rifle and opened fire on the soldiers, I managed to take out a few of them before the rest started firing at me, as the soldiers shot me I noticed their bullets barely scratching my suit "Nice." I said as I fired at the soldiers the people who were gathering in the area quickly began to flee I looked and saw a man with white skin and short brown hair wearing a red shirt and brown pants with several pockets on them and black shoes the man was fleeing the area I aimed my assault rifle at the man and shot him the man collapsed to the ground dead "Dumbass." I said as I continued to take out the soldiers one by one, just then I noticed that the machine guns on top of the armoured vehicles had turned towards me and began to fire I quickly raised my assault rifle and shot the machine guns until I eventually destroyed them I then turned my attention back towards the remaining soldiers and took them out I reloaded my assault rifle and walked towards the supply truck and once I reached the supply truck I looked in the back of the supply truck and could see several weapons and several crates full of ammunition in the back of the supply truck I then noticed several grenades in the back of the supply truck I grabbed the grenades and placed them onto small latches on my suit's waist just then the back of one of the armoured vehicles opened up and a heavy armoured soldier stepped out the heavy armoured soldier was carrying what looked like a large machine gun just then he began to fire at me I quickly ran behind the supply truck as the bullets from the heavy armoured soldier hit truck I darted my head around unsure of what to do I then got an idea, I looked from behind the supply truck and could see the heavy armoured soldier slowly approaching me I waited until he was close to the supply truck and once he was I pulled out one of my grenades I pulled the pin on my grenade before I placed it under the supply truck I then quickly ran out from behind the supply truck as the heavy armoured soldier fired at me I ran back towards the alley that I hid in dodging bullets as I did so when I reached the alley I looked back and watched as the Federation supply convoy erupted into an enormous fireball I looked back at the Federation supply convoy only to see it was now completely destroyed "Fuck yeah." I said as I walked out of the alley.

I walked out of the alley before I approached the destroyed Federation supply convoy and could see the dead body of the heavy armoured soldier I looked down at him and saw his machine gun sitting next to his corpse "I'll take that." I said as I reached down and picked it up, I inspected the machine gun I then looked back at my assault rifle and wondered what I should do with it but just then my suits helmet displayed a message "Open Inventory." the message read "Open Inventory?" I thought and just as I did so that the large rectangular portion on my suit's back opened up and a small mechanical rod extended out from it the small mechanical rod had a small mechanical claw on the end of it I moved the machine gun towards the small mechanical claw and the small mechanical claw grabbed the machine gun the small mechanical claw then took the machine gun into the large rectangular portion on my suit's back the large rectangular portion on my suit's back then closed "Huh so I think about my suit doing something and then my suit does that thing, so my suit can read my thoughts." I said, I then began to walk away from the destroyed Federation supply convoy but just then I looked back down the alley that I hid in only to see Brian standing there staring at me just then he rushed towards me and attacked me, I quickly ran away from him before looking back and seeing that my Dad was now gone I took a deep breath before making my way back to the Resistance hideout.

I arrived back at the alley and opened up the dumpster and stepped inside I walked down the stairs and into the small room where I could see Mayhem waiting for me "You're back, we intercepted a Federation transmission saying that a Federation supply convoy was attacked on it's way to the Federation command center nice work." Mayhem said "Nothing I couldn't handle." I replied "The Federation has sent a large group of soldiers from the command center to investigate the destroyed convoy, with that being said it's time for you're final test." Mayhem said "Alright, what is it?" I asked "With that group of soldiers away from the command center now is the perfect time to attack the command center." Mayhem said "Okay, how will we do that?" I asked "Not we, you." Mayhem said "What me, you mean by myself!" I said "I don't like the idea anymore than you do but you escaped from the Federation prison, got your hands on a Federation keycard and stole a Federation armour suit by yourself, it's clear to me that you're more that capable of taking care of yourself." Mayhem said, I stood there staring back at her in disbelief "Me and the other Resistance fighters came here to find a way to destroy the Federation command center, but now I think we have our solution." Mayhem said "Me." I said "Aye, if you manage to pull this off we will have done more damage to the Federation today than we have in months." Mayhem said I looked down at the ground and let out a quick sigh before looking back up at Mayhem "So how do I destroy the Federation command center?" I asked "You need to get to the Federation command center, now that most of the soldiers are away from it that should be easy, get inside using that keycard and make your way down to the lowest level the Federation has a large generator down there that they use to power the command center, get inside the generator and destroy it." Mayhem said "Right." I said as I turned around and walked out of the room and up the staircase, I opened the dumpster lid and hopped out I then began making my way towards the command center. I made my way to the command center and I soon arrived at the command center I looked around for a way in and could see a large door with a keycard reader next to it I walked up to the door and slid my keycard through the reader the door opened and I stepped inside, once inside the command center I looked ahead and saw a corridor I walked down the corridor and came to another door I walked through the door and entered another corridor with some kind of security station in the center there were two soldiers at the security station and as I began to approach one of the soldier saw me "Halt, identify yourself!" the soldier yelled I quickly raised my assault rifle and fired at him and as I killed him the other soldier pressed a button on the security station and an alarm began to ring I quickly took him out as well before continuing down the corridor and walking through another door, as I stepped through the door I entered a large room I looked around the room and could see a door on the far end of the room but as I made my way there a group of soldiers ran through the door and began shooting me their bullets bounced harmlessly off of my suit as the soldiers continued to fire "I don't have time for this, open inventory." I thought as the large rectangular portion on my suit's back opened and I swapped my assault rifle for my machine gun I then fired at the soldier swiftly wiping them out "Cool." I said as I swapped to my assault rifle before walking up to the soldier's bodies to gather up as much ammo as I could I then walked over to the door and as I entered the next room I could see large metal containers scattered about and another door at the end of the room I began walking towards the door but just then one of the large containers opened and a large Robot stepped out the Robot had two legs and two arms with a large gun attached to each of it's arms it had a single red eye on it's head the Robot then raised it's arms before firing lasers at me "Shit!" I shouted as I quickly ran behind one of the containers just narrowly dodging the lasers "That's a big fucking Robot!" I said, I peeked my head out from behind the container to get a better look at the Robot and as the large Robot scanned around the room looking for me I could see what looked like a large fuel tank attached to the back of the Robot I wasted no time running out from behind cover and I quickly shot the fuel tank and after a few hits the fuel tank exploded and the Robot collapsed to the floor destroyed "Fucking shit." I said before walking towards the door and as I approached I stopped for a moment and noticed one of the containers was open and inside were several small first aid boxes I picked up one of them and opened it and inside were several small vials with blue liquid in them "Huh, might come in handy." I said as I filled one of pouches on my suit's waist with as many of the vials of blue liquid as I could before stepping through the door, I entered the next room and as I moved through an Angel suddenly appeared the Angel had gold eyes and a halo on it's head it's body was covered in spikes the Angels swung one of it's arms at me I narrowly dodged it's attack before I raised my assault rifle and fired at the Angel and after a few shots the Angel collapsed to the floor before disappearing I took a breath before I looked ahead and could see an elevator with a keycard reader next to it I approached the elevator and slid my keycard through the reader and I could hear the elevator slowly approaching my floor just then I heard a familiar voice coming from behind me "Josh." the voice said, it was the voice of Linda I slowly turned around and could see Linda standing at the other end of the room "You can't hide from us!" Linda screamed as she rushed towards me and attacked me, I then heard the elevator doors open and I wasted no time stepping into the elevator and hitting the lowest level button I saw my Mom getting closer until she eventually reached the elevator but before she could do anything the elevator doors closed and the elevator descended.

I took several deep breaths as the elevator soon reached the lowest level and as the elevator doors opened I stepped off and made my way towards the next door as I entered the next room I could see several soldiers standing in front of computers in a large circular room surrounding an even larger central room that was separated by glass the larger central room had massive arcs of electricity sparking inside of it, I raised my assault rifle and took out the soldiers before walking up to one of the computers "This must be the generator, gotta find a way to turn it off so I can get inside." I said as I looked at the computer, I looked at the computer before I saw an option on the computer "Run maintenance." the option read, I pressed on it and then a message appeared "Running maintenance cycle." the message read, just then the generator gradually powered down before a small door leading into the generator opened I walked over to the door and stepped through onto a small platform that descended to the floor of the generator "Alright now how am I gonna blow this thing up?" I thought but just then the floor in the center of the room opened up and a large Robot rose up on a platform the large Robot looked like it had two large pillars with electrical prongs on top of them attached to a spherical center the large Robot then powered up before spinning the two large pillars around it's center at incredible speed it then began to move very quickly towards me "Oh shit!" I said as I jumped out of the way just barely dodging the large Robot the large Robot continued to spin as it rammed into the wall of the generator and bounced off of it before heading towards the wall on the other side of the generator and bouncing off of it, I ran and jumped and dodged every chance I could to avoid getting hit by the large Robot eventually the large Robot slowed down before moving towards the center of the room just then several large clamps extended out of the floor and attached themselves to the bottom of the large Robot's large pillars before the large Robot began to spin again while anchored to the floor and as it did so I could see the generator begin to power back up "Oh fuck this!" I said as I raised my assault rifle and fired at the large Robot and after several shots the large Robot was damaged I then watched as the large Robot gradually slowed down before collapsing to the floor "Fucking shit, I hope I never have to do that again." I said as I reloaded my assault rifle, just then the large Robot started making beeping sounds the beeping sounds gradually grew louder and faster "Uh oh." I said as I ran back towards the platform I stepped onto the platform and the platform ascended back up towards the circular room that surrounded the generator it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the large Robot was about to explode I then ran across the circular room that surrounded the generator before I left the room and stepped back on the elevator and made my way back to the ground floor I ran through the command center, I ran through the command center when suddenly a Demon appeared the Demon had red eyes and horns on it's head it was huge it had four arms and two legs it's head was long and it's mouth was full of sharp teeth it also had several large spikes on it's back the Demon ran towards me before it swung one of it's arms at me I dodged it's attack before I raised my assault rifle and began firing at the Demon the Demon attempted to hit me but I managed to avoid it's attacks eventually I shot the Demon enough that it collapsed to the floor and disappeared I took a deep breath before I continued moving through the command center, I ran through the command center until I finally reached the door I had entered through I ran through the door and ran as far away from the command center as I could suddenly a massive explosion erupted from the command center I looked back and could see that the Federation command center was destroyed "I guess that means I'm done here." I said, just then I looked ahead and could see several Ghosts just then they rushed towards me and attacked me, I quickly turned around and ran away from them I would do something about the Ghosts if I could but there is nothing that anyone can do about Ghosts I ran through the streets as I made my way back towards the Resistance hideout.

I made my way back to the alley and jumped into the dumpster and as I walked down the stairs and entered the small room I could see Mayhem as well as several other people in the room, the people were wearing grey armour and carrying weapons "You're back, we intercepted a Federation transmission saying that the Federation command center was attacked." Mayhem said "Yeah, the Federation command center has been destroyed." I said and then Mayhem and the others cheered in joy "Well done, I guess this means you're one of us now." Mayhem said "Yeah." I replied "Well unfortunately we'll have to cut our celebration short because after a mission like that the Federation is going to be all over the city looking for us and it won't be long before they find this place, that's why I've recalled all Resistance fighters back to the hideout we'll be leaving this place and heading to the Resistance base in Scotland." Mayhem said before turning around to face the group of people "Alright everyone pack up we're leaving now, get your shite together and don't leave anything for the Federation to find." Mayhem said as the group of people began gathering up supplies "How will we get to Scotland?" I asked "We have a transport hidden outside the city, we'll use that to get out of the United States Of America and go to Scotland." Mayhem replied as the group of people began walking up the stairs and out of the hideout Mayhem and I followed behind them as we hopped out of the dumpster and into the alley, Mayhem then pulled a tarp off of a truck that was parked in the alley and we all got in Mayhem then started the truck and we drove out of the alley and through the city it didn't take us long to reach the edge of the city and into the countryside, as we continued driving Mayhem turned the truck onto a small dirt path that led into a forest she then stopped the truck and we all got off Mayhem then led us into the forest and we eventually arrived at a large transport that was hidden in the forest Mayhem opened the cockpit and climbed in she then closed the cockpit and opened up the back door of the transport and as we all stepped aboard the back door of the transport closed and the transport took off and flew over the forest before flying over a large beach and eventually over the ocean, I looked out of the transport window and out at the ocean thinking about everything that had happened before I let out a quick sigh and facing forward as the transport made it's way towards Scotland.
