Who is Alpha Surge?
Hero is the simplest answer.
Few are as dedicated to the ideals of heroism, for things both big and small, as Alpha Surge. He’s always ready to help someone with a smile on his face, just like he’s always ready to obliterate any villains stupid or unlucky enough to face off against him.
It’s enough to inspire countless people across the world, and it’s what he’s always wanted for himself.
Like most heroes, however, he has a civilian identity. Kent Smith is a reporter for the World Weekly paper, alongside his wife, Lily Long. It is through this occupation that he started seeing the world in ways not even the strongest heroes could.

And he was faced with an uncomfortable, and terrifying truth. They aren’t enough. Heroes, at least in their current form, aren’t enough. However, don’t mistake his intentions. He doesn’t seek anything akin to taking over, or horrifying and beating the world into submission.
No.
He wants to inspire people. It’s what he always wanted. But standing here, at the impasse, after fourteen years of work, he realizes that alone, he isn’t enough.
Cooperation, unity. Not an Association, nor a team. Something more. Something that will unite heroes big and small, from across the world without any limits. A new society, one that–if done properly–could reshape the world of heroes as we know it. And the generations of tomorrow will rise in a better world. And they themselves shall be better than the ones of today.
And even if Atlantis, the hero schools, and all of the large associations stand against him, he won’t stop. Especially now. The villains are gathering their forces, and something big is coming.
If there was a time to do this, it’s now.
Project: Heroes of Tomorrow is needed now more than ever.
