“Behave!”
As Hubert had left the room and left Levis with Zuger and Square, while not in his best condition, he was forced to give the two men a knowing stare from his back-seated position on the bed, pressuring the two men to move on their respective beds, while the two of them could do nothing but observe the young boy who was supposed to be their new owner and wait for someone or something to arrive or happen, to change the stuffy and silent air in the room.
----------------------------------------
“Now---, where is the toilet—? Hmmm---, fuck it, this one---, I will just open this doo---!?”
But as Hubert had left the room, he immediately began to look all around the corridor, but unfortunately for him, due to the similar sizes of the doors and the similar dark iron-like color, he became rather confused and unsure as to how to proceed, and what door to open, as in the end, he just opened one at random.
“Hubert?”
“Hey—! Wrong room, however, do you know where the bathroom is?!”
“No. Did you not ask Adrian or one of the military guys?”
“No, and now, I do not see any of them---. Well, I will leave you, to whatever you were doing.” — [Fuck! These are all bedrooms, the restroom should be somewhere else.]
As he closed the door where two other guards were currently staying, he began to scrutinize the hallway and the doors again, to make sure that he had not been mistaken, but in the end, all that Hubert could see was that the doors had no observable differences between themselves, and no denomination whatsoever to be able to discern them.
[Who? Which genius made this place with no signs or drawings, no numbers to the rooms eighter---, what the hell!!!] — “No problem, just move and see if there are any other lavatories on the other sections of the ship. Sooner or later I should meet one of the army guys and ask them—. Yes, a good plan---, but---, ahhh—, I should have done it outside—! Ahhhh!! Fast, got to find it fast!!! ”
“Rumble”
“We are taking off—?!! I might as well run, if I do not find the washroom first, I will definitely be found by someone that can help me.”
In his frustration over the ship’s unreadable doors, the craft began to shake, bringing Hubert back to reality as he began to run weirdly out of the hallway, taking the turn from where they had first arrived and disappeared from view.
----------------------------------------
“Rumble!!!”
“Aghhh—!” — [Ahhhhhhhhh—, we are going up! The ship is going up!? The ship is going up!!!]
“Hmmm—?”
But in the room that Hubert had left, at the same time that the ship had begun shaking from its initial movement, Levis begin to panic even more, as he made a small explanation of a scream that did not escape from his mouth, however, the strange soft sound made Zuger raise his eyebrow in even more suspicion, as his face was becoming even paler, while his eyes were dropping and about to go back, as though ready to faint at any time.”
[Stop it. How can you make this scene for nothing? Is this more frightening than having a hundred people look at you?!]
[No---! But—! But–! But-! I can not help it, I feel like I am about to fall, and die!!!]
[Phuuu—, so what?! If you fall, you will just need a few weeks or a month, before you can probably put yourself back together. Though it will probably be painful, and depending on your circumstances, you might be stuck under debris of the ship, if the ship were to plunge down.]
[See—!!! I do not want that to happen!]
[See—, what?! Now pipe it down, and do something to distract yourself, if you have time to complain. Or, you will be forcing me, to say something that you will most definitely not want me to say.]
[What?]
[Do not make me, because you brat, will most certainly not like what I will say. Not that I will not say it, just to insult you.]
[You bastard! And with what, can I distract myself from this---?]
[Make the two of them dance and act as clowns, cultivate or—, count numbers, I want to see if you know to go further than one hundred. Now chose.]
[---.]
[One, two, three, four—, fifty-five, fifty-six—, seventy-nine, eighty— ninety-seven, ninety-eight, ninety-nine, one hundred, one hundred one, one hundred two—.]
----------------------------------------
[ [Huuuu—, finely.] ]
[ [Uhhh—, he---, does not look so good, in fact, he seems worst. His consciousness is just going on manually, but I can still feel him slipping. Your method is not working at all.] ]
A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
[ [Fuck---, this boosting little bastard!] ]
----------------------------------------
[---one hundred thirty-five, one hundred—.]
[Kid! Stop. Now go from one, add a zero to that one, and then go to the highest number that you can remember.]
[One, ten, hundred, thousand—, ten thousand, hundred thousand—, ahh— a million, ten million, hundred million—, and then—, a— a billion, ten billion, hundred billion—, trillion, ten trillion, hundred trillion—, then there is, is the—, wait I know—, million, billion, trillion—quadrillion, quintillion, sextillion—.]
----------------------------------------
[ [This is actually---, kind of— working. But this has no reasonable aim whatsoever. It is just a—.] ]
[If you have a better idea—, then please, illuminate him!!!] ]
----------------------------------------
[Disciple, disciple! I have a better solution to your problem, and well, as it seems that you have conquered your number problem, you should focus on the written and readable one.]
[What do you mean?]
[You have the booklet of the boy that always runs away, right.]
[Booklet—? You mean the few papers that the old man had given to me?!]
[Yes, read it. This way, you can better your reading ability, while also solving your current problem.]
[Alright---. A moment---, to take it.]
----------------------------------------
“Hmmm!” — [He is making a move? What are you up to---!]
After a long time, of no activities whatsoever while having his eyes closed, Levis. who had been under Zuger’s observation the entire time, made his first action, since the moment that he and Square had entered the room, and seen him lying on the bed as though a sickly man.
[What---! What are you up to—?! What the hell is this bastard doing!!!]
But amidst Zuger’s observation of the young demon-shaped boy, his eyes nearly fell off, as he was witnessing the two small hands move inside the pants, and move about erratically. Though he was not alone in this observation, as even Square who was on the bed below him, the middle of the three beds, had his eyelids narrowed at Levis’s act. Even so, Square was not so rushed as to jump to any strange or wild conclusions as Zuger and continued to watch calmly.
“There it is!”
“Eh!”
Nonetheless, after some time of ruffling his pants, Levis’s hands came out of his trousers, which in turn, caused Zuger to exclaim softly, as the little bastard's hands, held a very small book, a hand-size book to be precise, as even in his grasp the thing was almost but covered, while he kept it rolled.
However, what the two men did not know, was that ever since Levis had acquired the Immortal elixir flasks from the strange old man, and having understood its importance, he had to change the location of the pouch, which he had received from old Wan, as he did not wish for everyone to be capable of seeing the small satchel which held all of his wealth as a cultivator, the two ranks 6 energy shards and the remaining Immortal elixir flask, that he still retained, after he had been forced to trade with Urger, to resolve Adrian's problem, which was made by the sacrificial dantian left by the Red Pervert.
----------------------------------------
[There it is!]
[Go on.]
[Alright—. “The— wal-kin-g drunk-ard and the ho-nest th-ief.”---, “The walking drunkard and the honest thief.” Hmmm—, now that I read the first phrase, this sounds more like a weird story, than some knowledge or wisdom from that old man—.]
[Continue. As you have no way of knowing what it can contain if you are not going to read it. And that is the title, not just a simple phrase.]
[You are right. That old man was so strong that I could feel almost nothing from him. So that can only mean---, he must have written something incredible. Let me see—, hmm---, image and, hmm—, hmm–, hm-!]
With the booklet in his hands, Levis turned to its first page, where a few dozen lines of words were written, occupying half of the small page, while the other half, had a small rough drawn image, of what appeared to be a man in a very weird pose, as it seemed to be dangling from one side to the other, close to falling over.
[Hmmm—!!! Hmmmmmm—!!!!!]
But in a brief moment after seeing the drawing, Levis’s eyes immediately moved to the second page, where another picture stood under a lengthy phrase as well. However, after the first page, came the second and the third, until he had looked at all the drawings that were in the small booklet.
[Disciple?]
Yet, once the booklet was closed, Levis’s complexion became even paler, while his arms got limper, as the little book was in his weakened grasp, ready to fall off.
[I just realise—! Reading while on the ship—, makes me even more nauseous. The little pictures distracted me for a moment, but— no more—, ahhhh!!!]
[No, no—! You can not give up so easily!]
[Then—. You read it for me.]
[---.]
[That—, then---, no! What— what would be the point, if I were to read it to you, it would defeat the whole purpose of what we are trying to do.]
[No—, not everything, this way you can still keep me distracted.]
[Hmmmmmm—.]
----------------------------------------
[ [Phuuu—, now who is the one that is not making any progress?] ]
[ [Rather than blabbering about my failure, why do you not put that big head of yours at work.] ]
[ [I told the kid before, and now to you, I already have a solution, but this will make the kid like me even less. But if you want, I can tell you.] ]
[ [---.] ]
[ [What is it?] ]
----------------------------------------
[Ahhhh—, why have you gone silent? Well if you are not going to read it. I have two others that will do it for me.] — “Zuger!”
“Hmmm—? What---, what do you want?”
While not expecting to be called out of the blue, Zuger who had eyed Levis since he had entered the room, became instantly nervous, as he could not anticipate what the abnormal brat would request of him, though on the surface, his countenance revealed almost nothing.
“Get here—, and read this book to me.”
“What? Why do I have to—.”
“Did I ask your opinion? I believe you are mistaking my order, for a friendly request?”
The moment after his short retort that would normally come out of him, Zuger was given a glare from Levis, a glare that he knew almost too well, as throughout the better of half his life, that look had appeared far too many times. As even as he was on the highest of the beds in the room and Levis on the lower one, anyone in his place, would understand that he was looked at from a higher position of status, as a master and slave, and of a physical position, as though he stood bowed before him, to be always under his eyes.
“I will do it!”
“Hmmm---?!! It appears that both of you must be stupid. I asked Zuger by his name, and he will come here immediately, you the square face one can remain where you are. Now come here.”
“Thud!!!”
“Give it here!”
A moment later, Square who had said no words, ever since he had entered the room, offered himself to take Zugers place. only to be rebuked, and made to stand down by Levis. In the end, Zuger jumped down on the floor of the room and gave Levis a similar stare, but in his case, he was truly from a higher standing place, as he was actually on his feet, and was looking down on the kid that seemed to be weak, and frail from where he stood, which in turn made him beginning to doubt about how could he had fallen into this little bastard's hands.
“What is this?! “The walking drunkard and the honest thief.” What the hell is this---? A martial art, wisdom from a higher cultivator, or is this some unpopular story written by a thieving alcoholic?”
“You will know once you will read it to—, ahh---, me. Now read—, ahhh---, read the book! Start it already!!!”
