“So, what do you think?”
“Sir Baron’s words had no lies or untruths. The scene down south, and the one here, is more than enough to prove all that he had spoken is truth. And either way, the deaths of two Kings, I do not know of, as they may possibly not be from the Kingdom, is of no concern to me. Though the Immortal one, and the escaped woman.”
With the sun on its last moment for the day, the two armored men, in green and blue undergarment-like clothes, were walking in the same location, as old Wan and sir Baron had stood, not too long ago. For they themselves, were inspecting the second area, responsible for their arrival, to ascertain the words spoken by sir Baron, and of the signs left, by the fight that had to ensue in this part of the forest.
“Spinning stone Deroy. I have heard of him once---, twelve years ago---, I think. Though, the last time I heard of his name being mentioned, he was still an Immortal at rank 7 or 8. And, if I am correct, he was just an unaffiliated cultivator, with no connection to any nobel family, or major organization, a simple mercenary, from Lake county, who made a living by going on hunting expeditions inside the border mountain for crystals. No major criminal record, and yet---, now I have found him dead like this, quite the strange story for the bastard.”
“Hmpf—, a traitor to the Kingdom. That is more than enough you have to say about him. Though what is more alarming is the woman that had escaped.”
“Well, at least general Adam’s son, had not died, or we would have been in some trouble—, and yet, this here---, a problem that is already giving me a headache.”
"Illegal underground fighting?”
“Most likely, and from the direction, I assume—.”
“Green.”
“Exactly, and well--, if that is the case, it is up to the Green branch to deal with it---. Now, other than the usual search, there is nothing much we can do. Still---, with the appearance of the maddened beast, you need to inform the army chain of command, right?”
“That is evident, although---.”
“Well, no need to ponder on anything else---, let us first return, have a word with captain Rowen, and then we will conclude this whole situation in a few days, so I can give my full report as well.”
“----Ummu.”
----------------------------------------
"So---, sir Baron, what have you discussed with the Guards and Military men of Rud?"
“A-ha-ha—, little Rowen slow down, let me take a seat at least. Or, are you perhaps angry with me? Haaaa---, you need not take so seriously to heart, my immature actions.”
However, while the green and blue armored men from Rud, were occupied this moment, Rowen, alongside Luise and miss Adel were seated at a big rectangle table, while their protectors were staying behind them, as sir Baron, and old Wan were last to enter the large tent they were gathered in and take a seat. Though in truth, Rowen was rather tense and rushed, for that was the reason he did not wait for a moment longer, and threw his question instantly not giving the sir Baron the time to take a seat.
"I am sorry."
“No need to worry---, and a moment longer---, to secure ourselves.”
Nevertheless, as sir Baron was taking his seat, at the opposite head side of the table facing Rowen, he proceeded to position a round rough stone on top of the said table, which caused the air in the tent that they were in to have a visible change, that all of them could perceive.
“Now, we can talk more freely, with no of the flies trying to spy on us.”
“Sound-dampening stone! Have other cultivators arrived here?”

With the stone activated and the effect in action, the one to speak was Luise, as she seemed to observe the stone with a peculiar gaze, and slight change from her usual self, as a tinge of beginning irritation rose on her face.
“Yes, others have indeed come.”
“Young miss, at present, there are roughly twenty or more cultivators west from our location.”
“July---, why did you not tell me earlier, and you—, sir old coo---, Baron, why have you not chased them away already!?”
“Little Luise---, that is why you are still a little miss--- and not a full fledge lady. How can I make you understand, that you can not go around assuming you can harass others, just because they are near you? Plus this is not the eastern province, or the domain of the east King, so we can not act as we wish. Acting brashly is not permitted, especially given the place that we are in.”
But upon sir Baron’s reply, the young miss appeared to back down a tad, though, that was for the fact that Rowen had given her a hard look for a split moment, making her lower her head, in turn causing sir Baron to shake his head, at the fact that his words had no power what so ever, over the little girl in from of him.
“Now---, for what we have discussed with the guards? First---, I gave them all the information about the fights, and the order of the affairs---, more or less. Second---, they obviously have your name, since this was directed specifically toward you. Though, I have excluded young miss Adel and little Luise, from all of this. As I think, that it would prove to be an unpleasant reality, being joined in this ordeal, since they have nothing to do with it. Right now---, the second division captain of the guards, and the second commander of the army, are currently investigating the scene up north. They have left two men in order to control and oversee the site down here, and have sent back two others, for support, and for a request of mine. Anyhow, just prepare yourself and your men, to be interrogated for a few moments, as tomorrow we will leave this place, as we will reach Green city relatively soon.”
“If that is the case, I will inform them immediately.”
“And, another thing, take all the equipment provision off the horses, you will have to leave them here.”
As the man, calmly informed Rowen who was about to rise and move out of the tent, the young man stopped himself for a moment, and he looked at sir Baron, who had a look, that was a mixture of serenity and calmness variety.
“I understand. In that case, I must thank sir’s help on this ordeal.”
“Nothing, nothing—. I need no thanking here.”
In toe with Rowen, old Wan who had stayed behind him moved out as well, but not before he made a small bow towards the man and moved as well, leaving the tent with the two misses, the two protectors, the handmaiden, and sir Baron himself.
----------------------------------------
“In that case, I must as well thank sir Baron, for leaving our names out of this ordeal.”
“No need, for the two misses, are but bystanders, be it the truth, it is only that the old me had to move and intervene so, as such I have to cut myself from your company. Plus, if our miss were to place miss Adel’s name in inadequate rumors for no reason, your family might not favor your friendship with our little Luise.”
With the tent, filled with the five women and sir baron, miss Adel pushed to convey her gratitude, though from her facial expression, and words, she did not seem to be bothered in the least, even if her name were to be mentioned in any report, or gossip.
“Now, if you will excuse me. I will take a short close walk to support the two, that are already dealing with the flies that are scouring around. So I will bid you, a good night in advance.”
With the last words said, the man, took his round rough sound-dampening stone back, as he followed suit the same way as Rowen, and made his departure, out the tent.
----------------------------------------
“Luise, I will retire as well and begin with my training, you can return to your own tent, and do the same.”
“Yes, sister. I will do it immediately.”
“You will do it---. As I do not want to see you go after him. Better to leave him be, for the moment, as he needs to conclude his affairs before he will direct his attention on you.”
“You jest, sister, I was not thinking of going after him, after leaving.”
“---.”
“I—I am not. I really am not going to!”
“Lady July! Please take this idiot back to her place, and do not let her out, under any circumstance.”
“Understood, miss Adell. Now, young miss, let us proceed back.”
“July, are you betraying me? Miriam help—! Miriam---! You too!!! Betrayal, ubiquitous from of all—, I will escape, and run away, you can not stop me forever—! Rowen is waiting for me.”
----------------------------------------
With their young miss grasped, the protector July and the handmaiden Miriam, made their way out of the tent, leaving only miss Adel and her protector lady Nicole as the only inhabitants.
“Does sir Baron thinks that our sound-dampening artifact is no good?”
“Miss, I am afraid so. After all, just in terms of power, he stands at the top of the kingdom, with only the great grand master, lord Phildor, being the only one that can equal him. As for his item, the quality of his sound-dampening stone is of a far higher make. Plus, I have to inform the miss, that we had several attempts to be heard by outsiders.”
“That I know, he can equal great grandfather. Hmpf—, however, these foolish and idiotic flies really believe themselves untouchable.”
“However miss, since sir Baron had taken the role of guarding us, most of them had back down.”
“How many do you have now?”
“One—, two.”
“They sure are courting with their lives, if they assume they can do what they want, with no repercussions for their actions.”
“Young miss, they have cessed their attempts.”
“---!”
“Sir Baron’s doing?”
“Most likely.”
“Good—. Now, all that remains is to return with the princess, which does not behave like one, the price without a domain, and then we can return to the capital.”
