At that moment, Brontes felt mana pounding against his body as though asking him to allow them passage into his body, his body felt like a stream through the river. And at that moment, he knew he had once again done it, he had finally grasped the secrets of godhood.
He had ascended.
He would no longer grow old or die from mortal injuries, he had practically stepped into the boundaries of immortality.
But as all good things must come to an end, so as his days of retribution had finally caught up to him. The gods had heard about a human claiming to be a god when even the dragons that breathe out fire burning an entire forest to cinders never dared to utter such claims - one man claiming to be such caused the gods to feel enormous anger for the human that uttered such words.
Sending their followers to bring the man that dared to utter such sacrilegious words, each one of them headed out to bring the one that dared to draw anger from their deity.
Spending his days in bliss and ignorance, Brontes didn't know that a messenger of Hermes had seen him, a man whose body was impervious to steel, with strength powerful enough to crush a boulder to dust with his bare hands. The messenger headed back to the gods immediately to report his findings.
"LET HIS FLESH BE CAST UPON THE WILDERNESS, HIS BONES GROUNDED TO DUST, AND HIS SOUL ERASE FROM THE VERY EXISTENCE OF LIFE"
The gods burned with rage as they immediately cast judgement upon Brontes, his very existence caused them to seethe their teeth's in anger.
…..…
…...
''Arrrrgggghhhh"
"At this point, I might get a seizure" Elijah lamented as he woke up once more with a terrible headache.
"Well that was enough for a history course"
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
"At least, that covered most of my questions" Elijah sighed as most of the answers he was searching for were answered.
The downside was that he couldn't use 'magic', but the upside was that he got something better - 'Magicraft'.
It was truly a name fitting for its existence. Once again thrilled by the fact that he didn't ask for an artefact in the first place rather than mentioning some random name, this was worth it, as he got the whole package all rolled up into one.
Mana is neutral, and although it could be absorbed in as well, it depends on how strong one's magic veins were, depending on the quality and the quantity of the magic veins possessed by the individuals. As Elijah kept on going through this information, the more engrossed he became going through each one of them carefully.
The artefacts that Deltrich talked about were just weapons created from the residuals of the mana left behind by the world tree.
Looking through the numerous godly magicraft, Elijah came to an understanding that depending on the type of magicraft being used, anything was magically possible.
Elijah was currently looking for a specific magicraft that suited his current condition, but that excitement suddenly turned into anxiousness and then disappointment.
Elijah had hoped that at least the information he wanted was being presented and remembering what Deltrich had said, that it would be difficult to handle his knowledge if they were given to him just like that, which he had already experienced.
Elijah sighed as he looked around the cave, noticing the huge entrance which looked to be half the size of his height. He was about to stand up after going through the last details of the information, then he suddenly stopped him in his tracks, and if one looked in his eyes, you would find them tainted with happiness that seemed to come from the heart.
Elijah was right to be happy because he had just discovered something called the Broken Mṛtyu Magicraft, and although he didn't know what language it was named, he continued to read the details of magicraft, swallowing back his saliva as he shivered from joy.
But not only that, as he found three perfect magicrafts for himself at the moment, namely: Broken Mrtyu Magicraft, Ungodly Titan Magicraft and lastly Timeless Elusive Magicraft.
Because the magicrafts Elijah was currently glancing through was something which you would proudly call a 'godly magicraft'. It was the only magicraft that he could find that fits his current condition. It was something which someone like him could learn, someone who had never come in contact with a mystical thing like mana, a normal human being like him.
Elijah already had high hopes for the book, and it would be shameful if he suddenly got disappointed, after all, he staked all he had on it, he didn't know if there were any restrictions apart from his inability to assimilate it whole which he deeply regretted, and would never try again.
He hoped there won't be other restrictions. Not knowing what they were now, he left them for the future as he was sure he would use the book more frequently.
As Elijah tried to read the contents of the magic crafts one by one, although he felt tired, assimilating the contents of the magicrafts, which further allowed him to remember what he had learned. Elijah knew it had something to do with the light that came out of the book, although he was worried about the implications and the effects of the strange light on him. He chooses not to worry about it because he only felt nothing but refreshed, besides if it wanted to harm him, there was nothing he could do about it.
Elijah chose to lay the matter at rest, carefully reading the details of the magicraft from the words that appeared on the papers of the golden book, his eyes seemed to bulge as he continued looking at the contents of the magicraft which looked like a beginner's guide to the world of BDSM.
At first, he was happy, but now what he had to do to train his body to achieve what he wanted, turned his happiness into a nightmare.
