As silent as they possibly could be, they just watched the zombie walk around, the fact that the zombie didn't seem to mind the door opening and closing already gave them a hint. Maybe it doesn't hear that well, but just because it doesn't seem like it should not make it okay to talk. Noah was glad no one said anything. That could have led it right to them. Noah looked at Zenix and then Loraine. Loraine held both hands high, as to say you can let go now. So Noah nodded at Zenix. He got the hint and let go. Shortly after that, the door they came from opened again, and out came Frederick. He was just about to say something and saw the zombie. With a shocked face, he looked like he was going to scream but was stopped by both Zenix and Loraines' hands. Disgusted, he slapped those away. The zombie didn't seem to hear that either. Panicked Frederick turned around and tried to go through the door again, only to realize it was locked. That gave them another hint. The door could be opened from one side only.

Then Frederick seemed to have a plan as he looked at Loraine. He grabbed her arm and threw her at the zombie, then he ran to where the zombie came from and escaped. The zombie was sniffing, and as he finally found the source, it walked to Loraine Noah and Zenix reacted quickly as they ran in front of Loraine and kicked that thing off her. The zombie landed on the ground and sniffed around again. Seem like this time it was attracted by the smell of Zenix. So it slowly walked toward him. Noah looked at Loraine and signaled to her, that she should go to the door. Loraine nodded frantically and silently walked to the door where Frederick just run out of. Noah was then with Zenix, wanting to hold up the zombie.

The room was empty, so they didn't even have anything to defend themselves with. Only their physical ability could help them now, at least until the two ability users would come out. So they endured, even though they were also pretty tired from the second test. They did their best not to get injured and try to make the zombie butter at the same time. They cooperated perfectly, and when Zenix seemed to get tired, Noah would take over and the same vice versa. It felt like hours of fighting before the next who finished the test came out. It was the little girl, Jasmine, with an ability. They didn't know what it was but hoped she could help them.

Jasmine just shook her head at them, and then they began to hear a child's voice in their head, "I am sorry to disappoint, but I can read minds and telepathy. I can not help you take it down. It doesn't even have thoughts." While they changed again, Zenix took over beating the zombie, pushing it back, and hoping it would finally be enough. Noah saw Jasmine's face full of regret.

Noah just thought, 'There's a door to from your point of view to the zombies, right? Go through it. We don't know what is over there since it is just dark. But it should be the way out.'

Jasmine nodded at them thankfully and ran to the door, too. After some time of fighting again, Hannah walked to the test room.

She saw the zombie and yelled to the two boys, "GET DOWN!"

The two complied and fell to the floor, hands on their head. Above them came a freezing breeze, and when they looked up, the zombie was encased in ice.

They stood up, looked at Hannah, and from one mouth, they said, "Thank you."

Full of relief they said to Hannah, "It is this door, and then we are probably out." Hannah was confused because she thought it couldn't have been this easy. Unless she and Jasmine got different tests and times, they should complete it. The three walked through the next door and saw Frederick and Loraine dead on the floor. Jasmine was running around, evading every zombie that came her way. There were about five zombies, each of them fast and with some kind of intelligence. It was like those zombies Noah and Jay fought before. This room was a long rectangular room, and on the floor were weapons. Or rather weapon-like.

Like a few broom spears, some long pipes, and so on. What stood out though was that at the end of the room were real swords. Like the medieval kind of swords. That was at the end of the hall though, between those swords and them five crystal aplified zombies. Hannah sent an ice spear toward the two zombies that were right behind Jasmine. Both of the zombies led their eyes on Hannah and the other three seemed to get the hint at the same time as the spear hit the two zombies.

'Like they have their own telepathy,' Noah thought to himself. Jasmine nodded as she walked to the end of the room, picking up three swords. Those three swords in her arms she made her way to the three that the zombies were fast walking to. Hannah tried to freeze them all in one go, but two of them burned all of a sudden. Transforming the ice that they were in into water. Zenix and Noah tried to kick them but they had more force than they both recond, it was nothing against them. The zombie swung his arm and Noah dodged under it taking a pipe he had been looking at. He stood up behind the zombie and went for the head. A hollow noise followed, and the neck swung sixty degrees to the right. Not even a second after he hit the zombie another wanted to attack him from behind, Zenix showed up and stabbed through that head with the broom spear.

One zombie down, four more to go and they didn't like that Zenix just made a kebab out of them. As the zombie with the spear in the head fell. Jasmine walked over to him, and gave Zenix the swords, before running to the end of the room and out of the door.

A mental Message was left in the room, 'Come back alive.' Now only the three were left in the room. Zenix gave one of the swords to Noah and double-wielded them.

"Now I feel like a Ninja!" He said and tried to slice around him at the zombies. He looked like a lunatic just swinging around swords like there was no tomorrow. Noah focused on the zombie whose neck was at a sixty-degree angle, that exact zombie turned around while he was not looking and moved both its hands forward to grab Noah. He had other plans with a precise swing of the sword the zombie's arms were on the floor and in a second the zombie's head rolled on the floor. While two were not out of the way Zenix tried to kill one that escaped from the ice too. The other two were still encased and didn't look like they could get out. After a whole lot of swinging blindly, Zenix got the third zombie. The zombie looked like shredded pork, but he was dead.

The three of them walked to the door at the end of the room and almost just walked by the two corpses. To think Loraine held out that long, but was now chewed on and dead. She was bitten the same goes with Frederick, they could not take those two with them as they didn't know how the virus or whatever spread through a dead body. So the three walked by and out the door. They were now back in the big hall, the huge arena it seems they walked in a circle without knowing it.

Vanessa then stood before them, "Very well you three also passed. Jasmine is already back to her quarters. You can also go now, Noah I was informed that you should be in the Laboratory by now. It is currently like eleven thirtyish. So you should hurry."

Zenix slapped Noah on the back, all buddy-like, "You hurry up now, I will wait for Ben. Maybe we will see each other at lunch, you are not half bad. Especially with those moves."

Noah smiled and as he did, he even showed little dimples. Then he ran off to the elevator and Zenix walked to the middle waiting for his best friend.

Clicking the five on the elevator another person ran in and to Noah's surprise it was Maison.

He looked at the floor number Noah was going on and did not klick one himself, "What a coincidence we are going to the same floor. Grandpa told me to ask the research team something, but I guess you are now a part of them." Noah smiled shyly and looked again like a silly bunny, but Maison frowned at the sight.

He looked at Noah and said, "Why do I feel like you are not acting like yourself, like that what you are doing is just a facade? It feels unnatural."

Noah felt a little confused, 'The others never suspect anything, why is it that this guy?'

Then from one moment to another his face changed from docile rabbit to emotionless robot, "How did you guess?"

Even his voice was cold, Maison then smiled, "I don't know, but this feels way better. The you before felt like a compressed mess, I don't know how to describe it but something deep inside me knew you were not like that."

Noah nodded, "I will be me in front of you, but when others are present I will be a cute idiot. It is just way easier for them to trust me and for me to interact with them. I hope you can keep this conversation to yourself."

Maison chuckled as he walked out the elevator door that opened, "No worries here. Just don't hurt Jay's feelings he seems to like you a lot."

Noah rolled his eyes, "Well I don't like him, he touches me whenever he has the chance. He watched me sleep, he called me his wife." His face looked disgusted, and Maison just acknowledged his words.

When they stood in front of the door Maison just took a deep look at Noah, "I just hope you won't lose yourself in a personality that is not really yours." Then he walked in and left Noah a little dumbfounded.

'The audacity this guy has! This guy met me like yesterday and suddenly knows me?! That stupid ponytail head.' Slightly mad about Maison's words Noah walked inside, there he saw Professor Maclaren having a conversation with Maison.

"Well thank you for your kind cooperation. I will leave now," he said and walked back to the door where Noah stood.

"Have fun little wolf!" Maison said as he walked by Noah who was now confused.

'Wolf? Honestly, what is that guy? First, he didn't want to say much, was more the serious type and now we are pulling jokes. Talk about a personality disorder,' he decided to put that thought behind, in fact, he decided to put all thought about Maison behind.

He breathed in and out before walking to Professor Maclaren.

Then when he stood before her he was prepared to apologize, but she just talked, "Finally, I was told your test was longer, but over three hours honestly? Well, now that you are here we have a lot of things to do. I have to tell you a lot of things too. Come!" With that, she just took off and Noah followed her, she showed him different prison cell-like rooms with zombies in different stages. She explained that the newly turned are really weak and only begin to decay after like a week of infection. The second stage is when they already lose a few skin pieces, and their skin and organs decay at a rapid speed. The third stage, if no crystals are consumed, is the body so much as decaying themself that the zombie will die after one month of infection. With the crystal, the body of the zombie can repair and strengthen itself. But when they tried to pump a zombie so full of crystals instead of it going back to a human it transformed into a superzombie. It was documented that it could even control the other zombies. It was also intelligent and tried to escape, which is why it was destroyed in the end. They fed the zombie a lot of explosives before as to prevent a total breakage of the base.
