Noah nodded, pointed to the door with his left thumb, and said, "Let's go?" Maison just took a deep look at Noah and nodded. Both of them walked back to where they came from and walked by Zenix and Ben.

Zenix looked at them and said, "So you're not leaving us behind. You came back for us? I knew we were too funny for them to abandon us." And proudly looked at Ben.

Maison shook his head, "We are on our way to get some matrices in the basement." Zenix nodded while saying a quick 'Okay' obviously wanting to leave. Ben, on the other hand, gave a polite smile to them two and grabbed Zenix's shirt to pull him back.

"How rude of him, of course, we are happy to help you two. Those matrices are very heavy, and so as to not make you two go to the basement twice, we can help you. Right Zenix?" The last sentence was said in a rather threatening tone.

Being almost jocked as Ben pulled the latter at his back collar, Zenix just rolled his eyes and then put on a very fake smile, "Of course."

Thus walking rather slouched to the basement door, he rubbed his neck.

Maison looked between the two, his gaze landing on Ben, "We appreciate the help. Thank you." Ben just smiled back, tanking his right hand to pet the others' shoulders.

"No problem. You're the bro of Jay, of course, we'll help you."

Then he walked off to catch up to Zenix. Maison just looked at the backs of the two muttering, "Weird." Noah gazed at Maison from the side. The latter seemed confused. He just gave a silly smile to Maison, held his wrist, and dragged him a bit forward so they could finally get those matrices. They went together down the stairs and got the matrices. One was held by Zenix and Ben and one by Noah and Maison. When they finished, they carried them up the stairs. They heard a lot more people, but they were arguing. But before they went and got to see what was going on, they carried those matrices to the classroom where the boys slept.

Ben was just about to open the door when Mr. Waltermoor came out. His hair was a mess, and he just put on his glasses. The annoyance in his eyes was very clear. He walked by and walked into the HQ Classroom.

Closing the door behind him, the four boys could still hear him, "The fuck is going on, I've been out there for weeks and you can't refrain from arguing for one night?!"

Ben and Zenix looked at each other, "They are so in trouble. Do you remember when he was screaming at us like that?" Zenix asked Ben while they maneuvered the matrice inside.

Ben just nodded fearfully, "It followed me home, I can still hear it." Their shoulders both shook at the same time, like a shiver down their spine.

Noah was curious, "What did you both do?" He asked as he and Maison put the other matrice down.

Zenix rolled his shoulders, "Normal stuff, like putting whole paper rolls in the toilet, taking the toilet freshener to spray at each other, and maybe, just maybe setting the toilet trashcan on fire?..."

Ben looked guilty to the side, "Mr. Waltermoor was beside himself, saying it was dangerous, we could get to jail for arson, wanting to make sure we'll never sit beside each other again. Calling our parents, wanting to throw us out of school, not to forget a letter with ten thousand words to explain, why we thought it was a good idea."

Maison shook his head, "You two have problems."

The two in question looked at each other smiled and said, "We know. But now someone else gets a lecture from our favorite teacher so let's see it?" Before Noah and Maison could say anything those two already stormed out. Noah kinda wanted to see it too, but he looked at Maison, who was still really confused as he looked at where the two Idiots just stood.

All alone with Maison in a room, he looked at him, seeing the former very confused and still looking in the direction where they had just left.

Noah asked, "What's wrong? You look so confused when you see those two. Not that it's any of my business, I am just curious."

Maison shook his head, "No, it's alright. It's just..." Again he looked very confused, then he looked at Noah. His Ice-blue eyes pierced into Noah's green ones as if looking for something Maison nodded after a few seconds, "When Jay disappeared, I was very keen on finding him. So to get a clue of where he could be I started dressing like him, dying my hair black and wearing brown contact lenses. I looked exactly like him. I did that until I was 16, I'm not proud to say it, but I was in a gang for some time. In hopes of finding Jay, that is where I met those two. They looked nothing like they do now, though. Ben had dark blue hair with light blue highlights, an eyebrow piercing, and black lipstick. Zenix, on the other hand, had bleached hair, almost always a broken lip, and glasses. One looked beaten up, and the other looked like a colorful emo. The only reason I know it's them is that it's the same humor. It didn't matter where they went they always had a joke at hand."

Noah listened intensely as Maison continued, "Our leader said that the two should kill someone. As for one, to prove their loyalty, and two, it was a "friend" of theirs." Maison gestured with his fingers when he said friend, making it apparent it was not a friend.

Then a heavy sigh, "Her name was Anna Grenwa, she went with them to middle school. She made about three of their friends kill themselves. She was a bully, just like they stood in books. Went after everyone differently. First was a Transgirl named Tessa. The second was a gay guy from the newspaper club, and her third victim was the original third person from the dou. There were actually three of them. Zenix, as you can see, is the child, Ben is the Mom, and Francis is the one who puts up with them and at the same time tells them when it's too far. Francis identified as Non-binary, and because of that, they killed themselves. Well of course it was not only Anna's bullying that Francis went haywire, the two told me that their parents weren't very accepting either, but the bullying was like the whipped cream and cherry on top. And now they had a chance to kill the girl who made their best friend commit suicide. Anyone would take the chance."

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

Then Maison paused, "Why am I even telling you this, I've known you for like what? A few hours and yet when I look into your eyes, I know I can trust you."

Noah smiled and looked straight into Maison's eyes, "Maybe your heart is telling you differently from your brain."

Maison raised an eyebrow, "Flirting? I thought you were together with Jay?"

Noah raised his eyes as he looked at Maison and bit his lip, "We're not together. I met him yesterday, we went scavenging in the morning. He was pretty impressed by my moves to fight the zombies. I made a liquid that can dissolve anything. By the way, it's okay if you don't want to tell me the rest. I mean, it is as you said, we've only known each other for a few hours." Maison smiled a little, and God did Noah know that this smile did things. Besides making him feel that he was about to fly to heaven, he also felt slightly annoyed. Quickly holding on to that feeling of annoyance, an image flew past my mind. The youth from his dream stood before him on his lips a sly smile. His eyes bend like a cat. But before he could remember who that was, it slipped away again.

Noah was annoyed that it was gone. He wanted to know who that was. Maison saw his mood change from stunned to confused to annoyed.

A little concerned, he asked, "Everything okay? You look a bit-"

Quickly realizing he is on a mission right now, he interrupted Maison, "Yeah it's alright, just annoyed at a memory that slipped by." Giving the other a comforting smile.

"Memory? What memory?"

Noah looked up at him, his eyebrows frowning, and his lips had a bit of a pout, "I don't know, I couldn't quite catch it." Then realization came over him, Maison didn't know he lost his memory. It was never mentioned to any of those who came from the outside.

Making his eyes look big and then smiling gently at Maison, "Oh, right. You see, I not only woke up in that classroom after two months, but I also can't seem to remember anything before waking up in that classroom."

Maison nodded, "So... you don't remember anything? Did you not even remember your name? Who your parents are? Where you live? Just like Jay..." As he asked that last question, Noah could see his curious look fading into a one of grievance.

Noticing he went off the trail, he cast an apologetic smile toward Noah, "Sorry, it's just that I still can't believe that all this time, Jay didn't even know his family still existed. And his time without us and I still can't believe I've found him."

"Understandable, you've even gone underground for him. With that much dedication, anyone would feel like it is a dream. I have a question, though... What are you going to do now that you've found him?" Noah asked a little hesitant at the end of the sentence.

Maison looked toward the door, very focused, "I want to take him to our Grandpa's dojo. Our parents are already there. I indeed lost contact with them, but one thing is for sure. If anything happens, that is where they'll be."

Maison looked back to Noah, "Of course, Jay can bring his friends too. And the Teach and Stephanie are also very good companions. The more people, the higher the chance of our survival." Noah wanted to say something when they heard an explosion and a loud 'shit' cutting through the air. It sounded like Jay.

Both of them stormed out immediately to see what was going on. Jay was running toward both of them his hands behind his head, as the two heard gunshots soon after. Noah's instincts kicked in as he ran to Jay, grabbed his arm, and, with his other hand, brought his head down further. Giving Maison a short signal to open the door that leads to the HQ Classroom, where almost everybody else was.

Accidentally throwing Jay to the ground, when they stormed in, Noah helped Maison close the door and shove a table in front of it.

'Not that it will hold long. They came to this side with an explosion' Noah thought to himself. Jay, who got up from the ground, breathed heavily.

"We have to leave," he said as he took a backpack and started filling it to the brim with provisions.

Mr. Waltermoor was slightly confused, "What do you mean with we have to leave? Me, Steph, and Maison just got here a few hours ago!" Sipping the first bag up and shoving it in Maison's hands, he walked towards the teacher explaining himself.

"These people outside blew themselves a way in here after saying that they hoped the toys on the other side would be more fun. I don't really have a wish to die, or else I would've thrown myself to the zombies already. So if any of you don't want to end up being tortured, I recommend packing!"

Mr. Waltermoor gulped, "Well if you say it like that. Shit! What about the four that are still near the roof and Steph? My daughter is still out there. I will certainly not leave them behind."

Ben came forward, "Teach, I might have a plan."
