“Congratulations. Clan territory detected. When forming your clan, you can designate the dungeon Heaven as your clan territory. When inviting people into your clan you can remotely view their location via the Clan Management Interface. You can also designate restricted locations within your territory. Additionally, all clan members will be able to telepathically communicate with each other via the clan interface. They also have the ability to store and withdraw items and materials from a special designated area remotely via the clan interface. Quantity and access are determined by the clan leader either by individual or by assigning ranks. Individual assignments will supersede any rank permissions. Congratulations. You can now create your own ranks within your clan. Congratulations. Whisper, Pan, and Shadow have requested to join your clan. Congratulations.” The prompt just went on and on.
It took me entirely too long to come up with a name for my new clan but once I decided. I felt it was perfect.
“Congratulations! You have officially formed your clan; all active members of the clan will now receive the clan’s name GodFall.” I stared at the next prompt with a smile on my face, “Congratulations! Emmy has joined your clan. She will be listed in your clan as Emmy GodFall.”
I have to say I was a bit shocked when Emmy asked to join my clan. She even offered to officially serve under me as a God of Creation. Stating that was her original goal to begin with. I accepted and scanned her. She was currently pregnant so I didn’t reincarnate her right away, but we would after her litter was born and she finished weaning them from mother’s milk.
During this time, I spent almost all of it organizing the clan and dungeon interface so transitions would work smoothly, and I had an established ranking system as well as a reward system. The defenders would happily work for free, but I felt like that was taking advantage of them and I didn’t want to do that. So, I came up with a clan specific currency. It wasn’t anything special and didn’t actually have a physical form. It was a point system to be frank. For each specified number of materials, you bring back to the clan you receive 1 point. Once you reach 100 points, I would convert the goblin into an Oni. Once you became an Oni your points would reset. Then all of your points would go towards your rank in the clan. I created 15 ranks including my own as clan leader. Defender, Novice, Initiate, Soldier, Squire, Knight, Barron, Viscount, Count, Earl, Marquess, Duke, Reaper, Royal Guard, and Clan Leader. Each rank took 10 times the points the previous rank took to achieve it. Starting at Defender which was a stage for non-Oni or new members, needing 100 points to reach Novice. Then they would need 1,000 and then 10,000 and so on. Eventually needing 100,000,000,000,000 points to make reaper. I know it's an obscene amount of points but I intended to take anyone who made the rank or reaper or above with me to battle the other gods if necessary. Now there were other ways to earn points. Like completing jobs for the adventurer’s guild for example or raising your status in your combat fields. Which should all come naturally as they progress and explore the world.
Currently I had only 1 Reaper in the clan which was obviously Emmy who was also an existing Goddess of Creation at the SS rank. So, yeah, she definitely had the power to contend with the other gods. I also extended my clan invitation to Lady Evalina which she accepted right away. Her hunters also joined shortly after, who slowly converted the rest of the village. I ended up placing all of my existing Oni in the Initiate rank. All of them have had a great deal of prior combat experience and I felt they didn’t need to start back at zero. I was also able to automate the point system, so I didn’t have to sit in a room micromanaging all the little things everyone did.
Once all that was completed, I set my sights on getting crafters into the clan or finding a way for my clan members to learn these crafting skills. Think about it, didn't the village have an alchemist? I don’t remember his name though.
Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.
“Hey Evalina.” I sent her a message through the clan interface, “Didn’t the village have an alchemist. We need one in the clan. Do you think he’d be interested in setting up shop in Heaven?”
She replied nearly instantaneously, “Of course silly we have a blacksmith, a Tanner, a Tailor, a Fletcher, a Farmer, a butcher, a Carpenter, an Alchemist, a general goods trader, a Pub, and an Inn. All of them have joined the clan and are rather interested in making their way through the ranks. You said that we’ll get rights to own land in Heaven if we make it to Knight rank, right? Some of them are asking about exclusive locations and even their own islands. Though I’m not sure about all of that.”
“Actually, I do have ranks set for both of those conditions. Defender and Novice can live in public housing, Initiate, Soldier, and Squire have their own quarter. It’s still public housing they’ll just have more personal space to work with. Knight, Barron, and Viscount can request private housing in much more secluded areas where they can personalize the landscape, they are granted to suit their needs and tastes. Count, Earl, Marquess, and Duke can receive their own personal island to do with as they please. Receiving your own personal island will come with other responsibilities attached. So, some may choose to forgo getting an island. Reapers and Royal Guards will be given their own island and don’t have a choice in the extra duties allotted to them. They, however, also have the most sway when it comes to certain decisions. Not all but they also get to learn some classified information which gives them a new perspective on current issues as does Duke.” I replied.
She took that back to the villagers and most of them seemed like they wanted to shoot for Barron for some reason. Now with that done we had Heaven on its way to becoming something proper. I sent out the goblins to collect and provide everything the crafters needed to produce supplies for the Oni and Goblins delving into dungeons. Most of the dungeon diving goblins were close to becoming Oni so I needed to prepare for that as well.
After a month passed Emmy gave birth to 3 Vorpal Bunnies. They did not possess my innate Will of the World abilities but did possess some of our other abilities, each a little different. We named them Star, Moon, and Sky and it seemed like their names gave them each a skill associated with the meaning behind their name. Star received the skill that gave her access to spatial based magic and a skill that augmented spatial magic. Moon got lunar magic and an augmentation to it, and Sky received Wind and Solar based magic and augmentations. We thought that was a bit strange, but stranger still is the skill Emmy received after giving birth. She could now control whether or not she would get pregnant and she could control how many children she would give birth to.
I needed to figure out how the system functioned when it came to skills in general. They always seemed useful to the individual who received them. Now that they were born Emmy wanted to help me in combat but didn’t know how to access magic in my universe. So, I created the spells she preferred and would grant them to her new body when the time was right.
I’d forgotten how ruthless Emmy was in her universe. She loved fluffy things, but she was also terrifying in a monster in the dark kind of way. It made me glad she wanted to join me and is choosing to help me.
Another few weeks passed, and Emmy was ready to join us all the way. She didn’t want to be an Oni and loved her Vorpal Bunny, so I just brought her back exactly as she was now with a few additions.

I noticed that my scans don’t give the threat level of myself or Emmy. I wonder if it has anything to do with the God/Goddess of Creation thing.
That aside, Emmy will be joining me on some of my adventures in order to get used to how magic worked in my universe. I was kind of excited to see how creative she could be with the abilities she asked for. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
