With new resolve I finally stood up dusting myself off. Now I have a goal for myself. I need a way to achieve it. I was given back the “Perfect Body” trait but that only means that I don’t need to eat to survive. If I want to grow, however, I’ll need a way to sustain myself and develop my magic and body. With that thought in mind I searched around the room looking for anything I could use as a weapon. It took nearly an hour of searching until I found a large branch with a gnarled knot at the top. The branch was about as wide as a spear shaft but much larger where the knot was. Making it more like a club or shelliegh and the branch made a large bend before coming to the knot. My experience from previous adventures taught me that I prefer bladed weapons, but this staff was exceptionally strong and would endure many, many strikes. Looking around some more just to be sure I didn’t miss anything I noticed some green rocks jutting out of the walls and floor. Picking one up I realized that they were emeralds. Large one at that. Remembering that all gemstones in my universe contained the ability to amplify magical power, I decided to take some of them and fix it to the knot. Well, I tried to but didn’t have any immediate success. Deciding now was a good time, I sat down with my new staff and emeralds and used my “Create Magic” skill.
I created quite a few spells to aid me in my journey. Control Plants, Shape Wood, Shape Stone, Bioluminescence, Poison Wind, Entangle, Boom Shroom, Death Bloom, Plant Growth, Earth Spike, Stone Bullet, Entomb, Soften Earth, Harden Earth, Move Earth, Quake, Wind Blade, Flight, Control Winds, Wind Tunnel, Tornado, and Gale. Remembering the nature of the creature I created. They have an affinity with all natural forces. Which included lightning, fire, Ice, water, solar, lunar, and more but my magic power was weak, and I didn’t want to overwhelm myself right away. I had already taken 7 days just to create all the spells I know possessed and each only had a power rank of G. Meaning that they would only be useful against small creatures like rats and birds. The more I used them the more powerful both the spell and my magical power would grow.
I started off by affixing the emerald to my new staff using both wood and stone shape. Next, I cast wind blade, poison wind, and bioluminescence at the end of the emerald. Causing a pale almost ghostly green, glowing blade to form off the gemstone. Giving me a new weapon to use. A wind scythe that also acted as a staff to augment my magical power. Now that I had a weapon, I was about to step outside for the first time then realized that I didn’t have any clothes on. With a sigh I sat back down and used plant growth and control plants to elongate the grass and had it weave itself into pants, a shirt, and a robe. Standing up once again I was ready to head out into the wilderness and begin hunting to grow my strength. My immediate goal was to learn the land around my cave, hunt for food and to gain combat experience, collect supplies, learn how to perform alchemy without my divine powers, and set up a base of operations for my hunts.
Walking out of my cave I cast Boom Shroom at the cave entrance leaving a patch of small mushrooms in a patch at the cave mouth. These little green and purple mushrooms will explode on contact if touched. That included myself so I needed to remember that I placed them there. With my trap set I steel myself and begin to walk a circle around the cave. Attempting to get a feel for my surroundings. Slowly spiraling out, it wasn’t long before I ran into my first hostile creature. A small horned rabbit sat nibbling some foliage on the ground about 30 paces from me. Its horn was similar to a deer's antlers, branching off in a few different directions. Each ending in sharp points, clearly made for goring predators. Excited for my first fight I foolishly closed the distance without checking my footing. Stepping on some branches in the process causing loud snaps to echo through the woods. Without warning the horned rabbit hopped off the ground onto a tree and then lunged in my direction. Impaling me with its jagged horns. The pain was immense. My lungs were on fire as blood poured from my chest. Panicking like the rookie I was. I grabbed the rabbit by its horns and yanked it out of my chest and tossed it to the ground. Giving it another chance to dash at me and gore me once again. Fortunately, or unfortunately, I was in the process of gaining some distance and its horns impaled me once again but in my ass cheeks. Jerking up from the sudden pain in my backside I took a slightly better approach and thrust my palm towards the rabbit and cast wind tunnel. Causing the dam animal to get blasted nearly 50 paces away. Turning my body so I could get a good shot at it. I shifted my hips and held my scythe ready for a horizontal swing anticipating another dash attack from the rabbit. My guess was correct. With the rabbit soaring through the air, racing towards me I gave a full-bodied swing. Connecting with the rabbit I split it in two causing a small fountain of blood to rain down on me as its two halves flew past. As they did so I saw small motes of light leap from where the center of the rabbit’s body would be into my body. Right where my wisp core rests and immediately, I felt a small spike of power permeate through my body. Right away my wound started to heal but not rapidly and not fully. It seems as if collecting souls provided not only a boost in power but also helped to keep me alive by healing my wounds. Though if I’m being honest, I’d rather not get hurt like that again.

Alive and in pain I began to worry about the future success of my grand quest. I just struggled to kill a rabbit, a rabbit, not a god, but a fucking rabbit. I was surely in for a long and difficult journey if this trend continued. With muscles aching I collected the corpse and began heading back to my cave where I cleaned the body and its hide. Wanting to collect as many pelts as I could so I could make better clothes in the future or possibly trade them if nothing else. In better news I vaguely remembered that I could use the horns as regents in potion making. So, I cut them off and tossed them in a corner. I didn’t remember the details on how to make any potions, so it didn’t do much for me at the moment except as future supplies.
I went back outside after cleaning the rabbit, avoiding my trap, collecting wood to make a fire and to dispose of the rabbit's innards. Once I was done with that, I made a small makeshift stove by using my stone shape spell to create a small box with two sides missing. Allowing me to make a fire below it. This will let the fire heat the top so I can cook the meat without dropping it onto the dirt ground. After my meal was cooked and my stomach full, I sat back and reviewed my status.
Character Status Sheet
Name: Savas, Race: Will of the Word, Physical Attack: G, Magical Attack: F+, Physical Defense: G, Magical Defense: G, Speed: G, Mental Processing: G, Total Power Ranking: G.
After taking a good look at my sheet I noted that I didn’t give this creature much in the way of stats. Only truly becoming strong after a long time of hunting and personal development. That's fine though, I wasn’t averse to playing the long game considering that based on the growth I’ve already shown. It wouldn’t take anywhere near as long to reach a strength capable of fighting the gods. I just needed to remember to take my time and properly learn to fight sense I no longer possessed the overwhelming strength I once had.
Deciding that I’d had enough excitement for one day, I found a nice spot where the cave retained the most warmth from the fire. I puffed up some grass with my spell, laid my head down, and fell asleep.
