As I gaze upon a massive golden tree that represents a universe with a pool of elemental energy at its roots. Traveling upward in waves of rainbow light. It fills the fruit of the tree with its power. Each fruit looks different and unique and on closer inspection they are. Each fruit is a world in this vast universe. It’s so vast that 1 quarter of the branches that hold the fruit would equal nearly 10 times the size of my universe.
Continuing to gaze at this masterpiece I notice that one of the fruits shines brightly for just a moment. Curious, I gaze deeper into the branches, piercing through the atmosphere. Looking at the world that caught my attention. As I do I notice that the universe is much larger than I originally thought. This world was a middle sized one, average among the millions of others. Now that I'm taking a closer look however. It is roughly 4 times the size of my largest world. Stunned for a moment by the scale of his creation I notice that not only is his work significantly vaster than my own. It’s also far more complex. I make worlds full of animals similar to beasts. Deer, rabbits, bears and so on. This world has all of those things and more. So much more. He’s given the creatures the ability to access magic and to develop it with their own creativity. The bipedal creatures of this world seem semi-intelligent and have developed cultures and civilizations. They seem to work with each other as well as work together.
With my mind open to how grave a mistake we’ve made by consuming the first I continue to study his work. That’s when I notice a soul that is far superior to those around it. Pure blinding white energy in a humanoid shape with golden wings that let off twinkling lights reminiscent of stars in the night sky. A crown of golden light rested atop its head and behind him was an array of celestial bodies orbiting his back like a halo.
“By the Divine. I found him.” she whispered to herself.
Not wanting to miss this opportunity I quickly manifest a bit of my authority to create a small creature. It is one of my favorites. A small rabbit with black fur and neon violet stripes along its body. Its tail has 3 halos the form around it. Each the color of my golden crown. It has incredible speed and has no need to eat as it pulls in energy from its halos on its tail to sustain itself.
Looking for a suitable place I noticed a small village of some bipedal creatures with long ears. The village isn’t far from where he seems to have made his home for now. I dare not place my creation inside his direct domain as it could end up with him consuming me entirely. Though in fairness I did do it to him first.
I placed my bunny in the woods not far from the village and removed its soul, placing my consciousness inside it. He taught me this trick; in fact, he also helped me name my creation. A Vorpal Bunny, he called it in jest once. I liked how it sounded and ended up keeping the name. He will surely recognize it right away.
Now with my mind inside the diminutive creature I began making my way to the cave entrance. While on the way I pondered a way to show him that I wasn’t hostile towards him and meant him no harm. Given our last encounter it was going to be a difficult task. Perhaps I should just observe and aid him when the opportunity arises. That would surely do it. I could also take a humanoid form as the Vorpal Bunny. I believe I’ll wait for that until I need to speak.
Once I got near the cave, I dug a hole to hide in where I could observe his actions while keeping my avatar close by. Then I activated my Eye of Omnipresence and peered into his cave, or so I thought. The moment I attempted to look inside it was like my mind split in two. The pain was so great I retreated back to my body to recover. Once I opened my eyes, I realized that I was still inside the body of the bunny and still inside the hole I dug. Wondering what was going on, I tried to leave the body of the rabbit. Once again, nothing happened. Panic crept into me, and I began trying to use any of my Divine abilities. One after another they failed to activate.

Things could not be worse. I was now stuck inside the body of one of my creations in a world created by the greatest of the Gods of Creation. One I thought I killed with the help of 9 other Gods of Creation among the council. I have no powers and no knowledge on the laws of magic function in his universe. I was helpless and only one thought came to mind. I was going to die here.
After a few days of panic, my effort to observe the bipeds go in and out of the cave and I finally saw him. He was flanked by two new types of bipedal creatures. They had horns coming from their heads, powerful builds, and their soul signature was unique as well. Almost like they were a conduit for gathering the gathering of souls and transferring them directly to him. Even more interesting is that he also took on a mortal bipedal form. This one also has a unique soul signature. It was some sort of physical manifestation of a spirit. One that resonated with the celestial body itself and could access the tree all the other worlds were connected to.
So that's how he survived. He cut off a piece of his soul and attached it to a mortal creature that could potentially take over his universe. Without knowing he would need something like this to protect himself from us. Why would he create a creature that could potentially devour him in the future? It doesn’t make any sense. That’s incredibly dangerous, it could even break through to the godly domain and consume the other gods.
I needed to be incredibly careful here, if I approached him and ended up offending him my existence could be threatened. It might even be in danger if I don’t offend him, simply still being angry at our attempted murder, rightfully so. With all of that in mind I decided to wait and try and prove myself a friend.
Lost in thought, I noticed him leave the cave headed towards the village. I was about to follow him when the dirt around my hole caved in. I tried to burrow my way out, but the dirt became hard as stone. Luckily my claws were incredibly sharp, and I still managed to almost make my way out before the top opened up. Revealing him standing there, looking me dead in the eye. I could feel the cold rage burning within him. Fear washed over me, and I froze. This was it; this is where he guts me and consumes my soul to regain a portion of his power. I watched in horror as he raised his hand towards me. Something invisible wrapped around my body lifting me into the air. I closed my eyes waiting for the strike.
Then I heard, “Emmy. What the fuck are you doing here?”
We made our way back to my domain but before we went inside, I saw a soul like no other approach us through the woods. It looked exactly like a god of creation. Panic filled my heart.
“They found me already! Shit! I need to do something or I’m as good as dead. So, I hurried into the cave and created a new spell. Dimensional Lock (Restricted Activation). This spell would only activate if someone or something attempted to peer into my dungeon using the specific ability Eye of Omnipresence. If such happened it would sever the connection between the host body and the puppet body. Trapping the mind in the puppet also restricts access to any special abilities that weren't built into the body prior to the host taking it over.
So, Yeah, I made a spell to trap a god on my planet locking them away from their power. If it killed their creation however, they would return to their body so I couldn’t get my revenge on them by using this spell. But it does give me a way to prevent them from sharing information between each other. The moment I was done creating the spell I cast it on the cave entrance. It is the only way into this realm. The next day I felt the trap activate and it didn’t feel like it failed.
Now that’s done I needed to bolster my combat strength. I brought back Bushda and Rok as Oni. They were confused at first, but it didn’t take long for them to settle in and recognize each other. They embraced each other with tears in their eyes. Rok turned to me when they were done and kneeling. He placed his fist to his chest as he spoke, a gleam of pride and reverence in his eyes.
