The frog was annoyed with the cut on its tongue. From a distance far away, it stares at the group of people in its sight.

"Damn it why did it have to be this", shouts Jerry seeing the frog after it has stepped out from the stream. It was twice the size of any of them and even wider. It was one of the least dangerous animals in the forest but threatening enough to kill the five of them. Although its meat was edible that depends on if you were able to kill it before it destroys its poisonous gland which makes hunting it troublesome. When a frog notices it's about to die, it destroys its poisonous gland which is in its mouth and its poison spreads throughout its skin and even in the air as a last resort to kill those after it or its prey. Whether it's successful in killing them or not the frog still dies. And after which the meat can no longer be eaten due to the poison all over the body of the frog. The frog blinks its eyes for a while then its hind limb crunches up, its muscles compressed to the limit. Seeing the frog this way, Michael shouts at the rest of the group, "Spread out, it's about to jump", while dragging Andrew with him. The group of men was just spreading out when the frog jumps high into the air and then lands on their previous spot. They were lucky to escape its crushing weight but they all lost their balance due to the earth quaking and the pebbles flying everywhere. Some of the crushed rocks hit Joshua and Simeon although they weren't in a critical situation, this would reduce their fighting efficiency. The fight hasn't started and some of the men have been hurt already. If someone didn't die they would be lucky now.

Looking at the frog, it seems to be smiling as it targets Joshua who was hurt the most. Its tongue stretches out towards Joshua, it was not possible to see the previous wound which was inflicted on the frog by Michael.

Although hurt, Joshua was still a seasoned hunter who has gone through various life and death battles in the forest. Grabbing his axe, he performs a swinging throw and the axe flies out at an impossible angle heading for the eye of the frog, the frog although huge performs a shocking manoeuvre as it dodged the axe thrown at it, it turns its head which seems to carry a grin as it starts heading towards Joshua. The axe which was thrown out was caught by George on the other side and thrown once again. Due to a lapse in judgement on the part of the frog, it got hit and it let out a fierce shriek. Blood oozed out of its injury and it stared angrily at George after using its tongue to pull out the axe, then it leaves behind Joshua and headed towards George out of fury.

Jerry who was an expert at knives tries to get its attention by throwing knives at it. The knives cause some amount of mild injuries to the frog and as retaliation, the frog just uses its hind legs to push out some rubbles towards Jerry which travels at a very fast speed. His quick reaction makes him avoid getting hit in any vital spot but he was hurt nonetheless.

Michael makes his move after settling Andrew at a corner, with his cutlass in his hands he moves at a lightening fast pace in the direction of the frog and slashes at its stomach. The cutlass cuts deep into its stomach, and the frog shrieks and uses one of its legs to try to push Michael away. Michael blocks with his cutlass but the weight was too much on him as the cutlass breaks while he tumbles backwards, and after hitting a tree he stabilizes himself. He still seems full of vigour as he stares at the frog with eyes filled with killing intent.

George uses the opportunity to use his cutlass to cut deeper into the wound already caused by Michael. Seeing its move, the frog moves back but was a tad too late as the cutlass still strikes the same wound although it didn't go too deep. George moves away immediately to avoid being hit by the frog.

The frog keeps its distance away from them. This was a sign of utmost intelligence and it wears them down from a distance by using just its tongue to attack. This puts a strain on the warriors as no matter what they did, the frog continues keeping its distance from them. Seeing them being exhausted from its attack the frog starts being smug and its resistance starts reducing. Michael's eyes brighten all of a sudden looking towards George and Simeon, they seem to understand him and their attacks strengthen up a bit, as its tongue was being thrown out once again, its tongue was severed halfway once again but this time seems like it won't be healed easily. The frog growls in annoyance, Michael senses an opening and he attacks with his lightning speed at the same spot where he has attacked before to create a bigger opening in its body to deal a fatal strike to end its life. The other four warriors close in and attack too with the weapons at the legs of the frog to prevent its movement. The frog uses its head to shove Jerry who was by its right fore limb, the force of the head butt causes Jerry's chest to cave in and he flies for a few meters before coming to a stop not sure he would be able to hold on much longer. "Don't stop with the attacks, keep on attacking its vital points. Although it's just a young adult so it won't be able to spit out poison it still can erode its system by destroying its poison gland. All would be for nought then", roars Michael seeing his fellow warriors pausing momentarily due to what happened to Jerry.

Realizing what Michael said to be true, they attacked with more power and relentlessly. The frog was injured severely in all its vital parts, noticing the threat to its life, it croaks loudly and summons all its energy to move to the side. "Kill it now, it's about to destroy its poisonous gland", roars Michael while rushing forward to the frog. Sighing deeply George says, "It's too late already", due to the distance between them and the frog and their energy being well spent, it would be almost impossible to get to the frog. At the same moment, an axe could be seen in the same direction the frog moved and it struck the frog in the opening made in its body directly destroying its heart. The frog freezes for a moment before it lays flat on the ground no deader than dead.

The hunters were surprised by such an attack and deemed it necessary to know who dealt such a perfect attack. Looking in the direction in which the axe came from, Andrew could be seen standing with weeds strewn all over his body breathing heavily like he just fought a very difficult battle and got through it barely.
