CEROS

"Interesting", Andrew says while rubbing his chin in thought before continuing, "Well, we don't have the whole day. We should get moving then". Andrew says as he jumps on one of the carts with Eve hand in hand. Being unable to struggle or say anything in protest, Eve has no other choice than to go with the flow as she was pulled along with Andrew.

"Come on then, let's move along", Andrew laughs while tugging on the horse to move forward. But something which no one expected happened, before moving far, the cart was overturned as Andrew rode the horse. Due to his speed and timely reaction, he and Eve were able to prevent being hurt the least.

He stares dumbfounded at what he had done and didn't understand how it could all happen, he had tried riding the horse as he thought others would but it didn't go the way he wished for it.

No one could blame him since he didn't have any former training on how to ride a horse since there was none to use for practice and the village head wouldn't lend his horse casually for practice.

Oscar was wide-mouthed and remembers the question which Andrew just asked him recently and from there deduced what has happened. He wanted to cry but no tears would come out of his mouth.

"Erm, seems like I didn't get a good grip on the reins of the horse. Don't worry, it won't happen again. Just rearrange it all before we go". Oscar was about to scream at Andrew but remembers the kind of devil who was hiding beneath that innocent-looking boy and keeps his mouth shut, he just did all the cussing in his mind.

After being satisfied with cussing at Andrew, he finally orders one of his lackeys to bring forth another cart to start arranging the goods once again.

This time, since all they had to do was arrange one cart, much time wasn't taken and in not more than ten minutes, the old cart has been replaced, and the goods were arranged and ready to move.

Andrew was about to jump in to drive the carriage once again, but Oscar says at this moment, "Good sir, why don't you allow one of the men to drive the cart. You can do anything you wish when we get to the village".

He doesn't want the previous situation to repeat itself since he was trying to get rid of this devil before him. Andrew pouts like a spoilt child who didn't get what he wished for, fully understanding why Oscar made such a suggestion, the new look on him makes him cute as the kid that he was. Eve couldn't help feeling surprised at such a cute expression on Andrew, even Oscar was shocked that such a face could be made by such a cold-blooded killer. Andrew smiles brightly on noticing their surprised looks which warms their heart, he gave off such a vibe that he was just a next-door neighbour whom you couldn't find any fault with.

"Alright then let's go", Andrew says to disrupt the nice moment. They both snap back to the present on Andrew's words and one of the men mounts the driver's seat on the cart while Andrew sits beside him with still enough space for Eve to sit next to him.

With this style, they rode towards the village and in no time, they were back at the village, although the day has gotten darker smoke could still be seen coming from the village.

They get into the village and Andrew takes them to Michael's home in order to deposit his newfound loot. It was all heaped in the sitting room since the normal rooms were already filled with all kinds of stuff. On feeling pleased with himself for all these wonderful new loots and wines, Andrew couldn't help but laugh out a bit.

"Can we go now?", Oscar asks out nervously while seeing Andrew this happy and thinking of hitting the iron while it's still hot. The formerly savage bandit who killed wantonly has now become so docile in front of a child who just became fourteen years of age, but nobody present found it awkward and all the underlings who came with them, having understood what seems to have happened also stared at Andrew awaiting his reply. "Oh, you can go. I am in a good mood now", replies Andrew almost immediately.

On hearing his reply, Oscar felt like he has been saved but at the same time started harbouring second thoughts about all the loots which has just been stolen from him and Andrew's voice sounds out at this moment.

"On second thought, I can't let you live. Although it might seem close to impossible for you to reach the stage I am in, there is nothing like being too careful. Better be safe than sorry they did say after all", he says.

Oscar not fully understanding what he meant turns behind wanting to get an explanation, but before he could even fully turn behind, his head has been separated from his body.

The rest underlings seeing such a situation played out starts running for their life seeming to forget that with the speed with which Andrew killed Oscar, he could murder them all and still be at ease, but Andrew doesn't seem too bothered by them. He wouldn't realize how much of a mistake he made at this moment until not so far in the future, he would then understand that he hasn't been careful enough. But that's a story for another day.

Looking at all the loot present in his room, Andrew couldn't help feeling refreshed. He finally remembers there was another person who was travelling with him and on looking towards her, she shivered more hardly and was too scared to even move a bit.

One couldn't blame her though, she has always been catered for and prevented from harm's way, hence such situations haven't happened to her and the person going around killing was a boy younger than her and he did it all without flinching a single bit.

Andrew just smiles as he beckons towards her, trembling she walks towards him as she has no other choice. Andrew holds her shoulder in order to stop her trembling but it increases it and she could be likened to one who was convulsing. He just grabs her, lifting her like a prince who has just saved his bride, light from the moon was cascading on them at this moment beautifying such a strange atmosphere, and to make it more perfect, Eve didn't put up any struggle while being in his hands. Probably due to fear or something else.

If Andrew could at this moment, he would have gently rubbed his nose. He walks gently towards the house then bending over while using one of his hands, he picks up a bag which seems half full, then walks out in absolute pride.

"Well, let's go see your father. You must have missed him after being away from him for so long", Andrew says while moving at full speed towards Cornelius' compound once again. On his way, he sees that the former captives were now returning to their burnt-down houses while grieving greatly either for their loved ones or their lost property.

Unknowingly to them, while eradicating the bandits, Andrew has already gathered up their stolen properties to the house and it was what filled up the rooms. He didn't plan on returning them to the original owners though, after all, he has just saved them and that should be payment for all his hard work although he killed off the bandits because they destroyed his favourite tavern.

He just looks at them and stares in wonder, 'Seems like the only houses which haven't been touched at all are just Michael's, Peter's and the village head. Thankfully I already looted Peter's house, so I don't have any fear of his stuff being taken before I am through and no one would dare enter into Michael's house', feeling pleased once again with himself, Andrew thought while smiling.

In no time, he got to Cornelius' house and happens to enter when Marian was about to be knocked out unconscious.

Seems like she has just woken up and Cornelius seems to be following through with his orders but on entering the apartment, apart from Cornelius who was now sitting down and whose face has started regaining some bit of colour, he sees someone unknown and couldn't help frowning.

"Young madam", the new entry voiced out at the moment he saw Eve on Andrew's arm. On hearing the voice, Andrew couldn't help to be shocked as it sounded very much like a female's voice, and was extremely sharp. But the person right before him looks like a man.

"Ceros", Eve lifts her face while she calls out softly. "Madam, did he hurt you? Do you need me to cut him down", the man who was named Ceros cries out at this moment. But Eve just sighs before saying, "Don't bother about it. You are not his match". "That might not be true. If I pit my life against his, I might come out the winner", Ceros says while hefting an axe in his hands, seemingly ready to tear apart Andrew if Eve just gave the word.

Andrew was just watching everything proceeding with a smile on his face and didn't take everything seriously. On looking closely at this man who was called Ceros, he has a huge frame with bulging muscles which made him seem kind of hideous with his small head seated on top of his body which makes him look like the letter "i". He has a girlish voice for a man of his stature and he could be easily mistaken for a female if not for his hulking frame with the bulging muscles. His face was fair as that of a woman although he had short hair, he has curly eyebrows, succulent lips and blue eyes with fair skin, there was not a bit of scar on his face to show how much he took perfect care of his face. His body was like a creation of different contrasting elements and Andrew almost laughed during their conversation but managed to hold it in due to pure sheer will as he understood laughing at this moment could anger Ceros and he wanted to avoid conflict if it was possible.
