Eden no Ori chapter 3-3

Eden no Ori chapter 3-3

After a few minutes of walking, Lee and Oscar arrived back at the entrance of the cave.

Jan: "What took you guys so long?"

Oscar: "Sorry, I'll tell you guys later."

/

Lee felt hungry and looked around for something to eat. His eyes landed on the Entelodon's body. Somehow, he felt the urge to eat it. He scanned the cave for a pot or some other utensil he could use for cooking, but his search was in vain. Feeling hopeless, he noticed some flowers in the corner of the cave.

Lee went over to the corner and found three small flowers with purple and black petals. He picked the flowers and then approached the Entelodon's body.

Ira, who appeared next to Lee, asked, "What are you doing?"

Lee: "I wanted to use my knife to cerate a pot and use it to cock meat from Entelodon's body in it."

Ira pulled out a pot made from the wood and said, "Here, I already did it."

Lee was shocked. He only knew how to do that from his father, so how could Ira do it? Lee asked, "How did you do it?"

Ira smiled: "I'm from Texas, and my family has a farm there. But I wanted to follow a different path than them."

Lee nodded, accepting the skin pot.

Oscar: "I checked the Entelodon's body and it's edible, so we can eat it."

Lee: "Guys, I'm sorry I couldn't help you. I tried to find ingredients to go with it, but I wasn't very successful. So, for now, we can just roast it over the fire."

Jan smiled: "It's okay, Lee. May and I already found some fruit and mushrooms when we were collecting wood branches earlier."

Oscar smiled: "That's wonderful. But let me take a look at the fruit and mushrooms just to make sure they're not poisonous."

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.

Lee: "You've already done all the preparations. Let me at least cook for you guys."

Lee picked up his knife and used it to cut meat from the Entelodon's body. Then, he skewered the meat and vegetables onto wooden branches. Lee put some of the meat from the Entelodon's body and the mushrooms into the pot that Ira had prepared to make soup. Suddenly, he felt the urge to add the purple petals of the flowers he had picked earlier. After a brief moment of consideration, he decided to add them.

After twenty minutes, the skewers and soup were ready. The aroma of the roasted meat skewers and the soup was irresistible. Everyone gathered around the bonfire. Lee poured the soup into stone bowls that Oscar had made. In the soup, the meat of the Entelodon and the flowers Lee had added blended together, creating a visually appealing dish.

Everyone enjoyed the soup and skewers.

[We've been in this cave for at least six hours now.] Lee thought.

As everyone finished eating the soup, they felt their stamina miraculously returning to their bodies. The effect on Lee was the most pronounced due to his body's unique makeup, generating more stamina than the others. This also produced a small amount of energy calories within him.

He felt all the stamina he had expended during the earlier fights returning to him. The energy generated and something else worked together to mend the fractures in his right hand and strengthen his muscles, bones, and even internal organs slightly.

Oscar finished his soup and held his bowl up.

Oscar: "Wow, Lee, you really know how to cook. I feel so much better after just one bowl of soup. Can I have another one, my friend?"

Lee smiled warmly: "Sure, Oscar."

Lee looked around and saw everyone laughing and enjoying the food, momentarily forgetting the fight that had taken place six hours ago. However, this wasn't a time to rest yet. He took a deep breath, stepped forward, and decided to share something with the group.

/

"Guys, I need to tell you about some things that happened that you might not know," Lee began. He proceeded to recount the story of the small white cup bear, the intelligent turtle, and the dead bodies Oscar had discovered nearby. He also mentioned the weapons they had found. But one thing he kept to himself was his conversation with the guide, for some reason.

Jan thought for a moment and said, "You were right not to take us there. Seeing the dead bodies would have broken our spirits."

Ira looked at Oscar: "Oscar, I can tell from your expression that there's something else you want to tell us."

Oscar: "You're right, Ira. There's something else I need to share."

Oscar took a small black metal piece from his pocket and toss it to ira who catch it. It looked like a bullet with a light at the end.

Oscar: "i found it on the body earlier".

Ira: "So, someone was tracking this Entelodon's movements?"

Oscar: "Yes, but the signal stopped transmitting when the Entelodon died earlier."

The group continued discussing various topics, unaware that at the end of the tunnel, some small stones fell, revealing a crack. Through the crack, a large, evil eye appeared, observing the group.
