ee listened to what the doctor had revealed and said, "The situation is worse than I initially thought."
Jan looked concerned and asked, "Why is the situation worse than you thought, Lee?"
Lee explained, "Because I had believed that the truly dangerous animals wouldn't be able to enter the building due to the protective walls. The front door of the building is the only one with sufficient space for letting these dangerous animals in. However, the defense there should be the strongest, with the most people to block the animals from getting inside, or at least slow them down. But based on what the doctor told us, they're already here, filled with various types of deadly beasts we still don't know about, roaming inside the building, eager to hunt us down."
Ira and Jan shivered at the thought. The terror they felt when facing an Entelodon was overwhelming, not to mention their close encounter with a short-faced bear. The idea of these dangerous animals, and possibly even more dangerous ones, freely roaming the building and hunting people down, was enough to make them want to scream and run far away from there.
Lee reassured the girls, saying, "It's going to be okay, girls. We still have some time."
Lee then turned to the doctor and inquired, "So, doc, how have you managed to survive until now? No offense, but considering these dangerous beasts, I find it hard to believe you can fight them."
The doctor admitted, "You're right about that, Lee. I don't have the ability to fight them."
"But I do," a familiar voice declared.
Lee turned around to see a big, muscular Mexican man standing behind him. He wore his purple cap, a yellow shirt that was now stained with blood, and held a fire ax in his hand. It was Oscar.
Jan, with tears in her eyes, ran towards Oscar and hugged him, exclaiming, "Oscar!"
Oscar smiled and gently patted her head. "Sorry I made you wait. I have a lot to tell you guys about what I know, but first," Oscar looked down at Jan, "you can let go of me now, girl. I'm not running anywhere."
Jan realized that she was still hugging Oscar, her face turning red with embarrassment, and released him, taking a few steps back.
Oscar continued, "It will be easier to explain if I start from the beginning, from the time I got here."
"When I woke up, I found myself in a different place, not like this one. The room looked like a restroom, but the atmosphere was cold and eerie, like an old, haunted graveyard. There, I met a man about thirty years old who introduced himself as Professor Adam Ven Hesaling. He tried to ask me what had happened to me and how I ended up on the island, but I didn't trust him, so I lied to him."
Lee looked at Oscar and questioned, "Why didn't you trust him, Oscar? When I talked to him, he seemed like a nice guy."
Oscar stared back at Lee seriously and explained, "You've been through a lot in the last twenty-four hours, but you still don't have my experience, Lee. When I looked into that man's eyes, I could tell he wasn't seeing me as a person but as a test subject for his experiments."

Lee wondered how Oscar could discern this from a single look. Oscar took a deep breath and continued, "In the past, when I was still a soldier, I was given a special military mission to kill an ordinary professor from a small university. I didn't understand why they assigned me this mission, but I couldn't question it. I went to the university in plain clothes to avoid drawing attention and found my way to the professor's lab. After some searching, I discovered a secret door beneath his desk. When I entered, I understood why they sent me to eliminate this professor. Inside the lab, I found people of all ages, from a seven-year-old girl to a seventy-year-old man, confined in cages, missing body parts, their eyes devoid of life."
Jan reacted with horror, exclaiming, "This is inhuman!"
Oscar agreed, saying, "You're absolutely right, Jan. It's inhuman. But that wasn't the end of it. The professor suddenly appeared in the secret lab. He appeared to be a friendly man who was easy to get along with, but the way he looked at me made me feel disgusted. It was the same look that Adam gave me. He said to me, 'You've arrived just in time. I need a new test subject for my research, and you should do just fine.'"
Oscar continued, "The man suddenly lunged at me with a knife in his hand. I managed to draw my military knife and block his attack. I attempted to stab him, but he dodged my every move. Finally, I swung my knife and cut his left cheek, thinking I had injured him. But then, he smiled and kicked my legs, causing me to lose my balance and fall to the ground. My knife was within reach, so I tried to grab it with my left hand, but the professor stepped on my hand, restraining my movements."
aaaahhhhh
scram from pain heard from Oscar
the professor smile and said-this is the end
the professor think he won and swing his knife at Oscar but he didn't notice that Oscar right hand enter his coat
Bang
from his coat bullet fly and hit the professor's chest, the professor fell to the ground puddle of blood quickly appeared around him, the professor looks at me with the same look at me before
"I was too careless to let my new test subject to kill me, you would have been so good test subject this is my bad luck"
Oscar who finish his story sign and said-this is why I didn't trust him
Ira realized the implications and said, "You're saying that if something like this happened in our world, it could also happen here?"
Oscar confirmed, "Exactly. It's possible. And don't forget, we're not in our world anymore; we're in the God dimension, which is even more dangerous. So, I gave him some general information about us to buy some time."
Adam nodded in agreement with Oscar's answers and grabbed a set of keys, locked the door, and left the room.
Lee asked, "Wait, did you see him take out a set of keys?"
Ira suddenly understood what Lee meant and said, "Lee, you don't think that Professor Adam has the spiral key we need to get out of here?"
Lee replied with concern, "I fear he might. If we want to escape from here, we'll need to obtain that key."
Oscar appeared slightly annoyed that they had interrupted him.
Lee, feeling apologetic, said to Oscar, "Sorry, Oscar. Please continue."
Oscar resumed his story, saying, "Anyway, I got up from the bed and reached out my hand to open the door, but it was locked. Fortunately, the lock was easy to open with my skills."
"I walked for a few minutes until I reached a corridor with a cross-section. I kept walking until I arrived here. The situation was far from good. Many wolves had entered the medical clinic and were hunting down doctors and nurses. I couldn't let that massacre continue, so I looked around and found a fire axe attached to the wall. I used it to fight the wolves, and some doctors and assistants around me gathered their courage, grabbing pipes and joining the fight."
"After an intense battle that lasted for about ten minutes, we finally managed to kill all the wolves that had entered. Unfortunately, we lost some good men and women in the process."
