Surprised expressions were drawn on the faces of the people inside of the prisons. They did not expect that Enjar could come to that conclusion so quickly, with just some limited information that he might have.
Alvred, meanwhile, looked at Enjar deeply. He seemingly wanted to know just what kind of person he was facing right now.
“Our intention to go to this place was to get something from this place. We have information that this place contained some energy stones. And we are here to search and retrieve it.” Alvred answered with a sigh, as if he was helpless and could only spit out whatever the man in front of him wanted.
“Energy stones? Now that is something interesting. How do you get that informa- Nah, I think it is just useless for me to ask you that question. Instead, I will just ask the simple question, where is it?” Enjar had an intrigued expression drawn on his face.
Alvred seemed like he was in a precarious situation. His expression gave the impression that he was in a dilemma, not knowing what to do in this moment of time. Should I tell him? Was this really the best choice that I can make?
He sighed once again, and looked at Enjar with determination. “The location is in Willow Village.” He proceeded to explain further regarding the exact location where the energy stones were located in the Willow Village. He told Enjar in detail with utmost attention, afraid that Enjar would not buy his explanation.
Alvred’s men had shocked expressions drawn on their faces as they listened to Alvred’s answer. They could not believe that Alvred answered it seemingly easily without even trying to cover it up!
This was a secret matter, a secret mission that they needed to keep it as confidential as possible. So why did this leader of theirs just go on and confirm this valuable information easily?
“Willow Village huh? The village where you’re staying at before. Hmm… Now that is quite an information you have there, heh. Should I say thanks?” Enjar ended with a rhetorical question and started to walk away from this room.
He passed the guards that were quite stiff ever since Enjar arrived in this place. They breathed a sigh of relief subconsciously, not knowing why did they even need to be nervous in the first place.

After Enjar left the prison, Alvred’s eyes then became sharp as he looked at the people around him. Most of them had anxious expressions on their faces, because of what Alvred had just said.
“....Are you serious about this?” Arin asked with clear hesitation inside of his voice. He knew exactly what Alvred was trying to do now.
“Yes, change a bit of a plan. We need to do this asap. This was truly a chance for us to redeem ourselves. How could I just let it go like that?” Alvred answered firmly. He clenched his fists hard and looked toward the door again.
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
“Enjar will go to that village, and at that time we will escape from this stinky place. How could this not be the best choice? And yes, we will sacrifice the energy stones in that village, but we can get away too. There was no better choice than this.
And I get it. We have been preparing even until 3 days ago regarding those energy stones in that Willow Village, but drastic situation called drastic measures. We are a fool honestly in the first place, to try infiltrating this area where Earl Vanadis ruled over. Now I’m sure that this Enjar guy is a man dispatched by Earl Vanadis.
Damn it, just thinking about those stones that should be ours was really infuriating me. That bastard took it away when we are literally one step away from getting those. Can I beat some of you now, cause I really am annoyed right now and wanted to let out some steam.
Haa… I know it is a bet, but see, we lost a big time here. There was no other way. We need to go back asap.”
Alvred ended his talk while leaning his back to the wall behind him. He needed to rest and recuperate his injuries too, so that when the time for them to escape came, he would be ready for that.

Enjar took a few hours of rest in one of the houses in this place, took a meal and then proceeded to go to Willow Village. He went there alone, without a single companion on his side. He only brought with him a cart so that he could reach that village easily.
He arrived in that village shortly after more than an hour of distance. The people who first greeted him were some men who were adorned with some light armors and weapons attached to their bodies.
And it was pretty easy for Enjar to guess who these men were.
“Who are you? What kind of business do you have here?” One of the men asked Enjar as he approached them.
“What do you think? I’m that one guy who suddenly appeared out of nowhere and beat that Alvred guy, surely you have heard me right?” Enjar asked with a mocking smile on his face.
Blaid the Bald who had been defeated by Enjar in the first encounter had explained the situation, and naturally he had clearly stated that he was beaten by a guy who was not a villager from there. Putting a dot and two together was not a hard thing to do, but they felt like they could not believe what the man just said.
What the hell is going on? Why is he going here alone? Nah in the first place, what the hell is he doing here? Where is Alvred and the others? Aren’t they supposed to take out this man if what he was saying is true?
But if that was the case, then the one thing that they dreaded the most at this moment was coming to a reality. Did this one guy single handedly beat hundreds of people on his own? With some people who were especially skilled in manifesting energies at that too?
The more Enjar went near them, the more they became nervous. Every meter that he took seemed to make a sweat appear on their foreheads.
“S-Stop! Don’t move or things will get ugly!” The man asked once again as he could only use the things that he normally did in this village.
But this man was not from this village.
“Oh? Do I need to cut off your hands too so that you can submit? Not that I really mind, though.” Enjar jumped down and spread out his hands, flames appeared from them. He walked to them leisurely and looked at the man who talked just now once again.
“Hmph, bandits who were harassing the innocent villagers, let me put a judgment onto you!” Enjar did not wait for a second before
The guy who said the last sentence was regretting his words now. He was just spouting things when he was faced with an absurd reality. Absurd to him at least.
He was not even given a chance to smooth talk before the attack had been done by Enjar. The flame on his left hand manifested to become a spear, and he put up his right arm to the sky and brought it down after it seemingly reached its optimal point.
“Flamefall!”
*Fyuuushh*
*Baaannggg*
Enjar launched a long flame to the gates of the village, making it crumble. The gates itself were made of wood and such, so it was not even a hard thing for Enjar to bring down.
The people who were outposted on the gates were thrown down. They did not expect that the man they were facing were so aggressive and decisive, without
Nah, if they thought about it, if the man was able to subjugate Alvred and the others, who were literally more than 90% of them, then how could people like them who were basically just leftovers were able to stand against him?
“Run!”
A shout came out from one of the men, and honestly they did not even need to be ordered to understand this simple matter. The conclusion that they had been trying to evade could not be more real than this.
This man must be getting out of their radar, or he truly had defeated Alvred and his men!
