Action: At this point I've been writing for over four years and I'm amazed I'm still doing this.
Arthur: Tell me about it and I'm surprised I've been around this whole time.
Jason: In all honesty I wonder if any of us besides Tyler has been here the whole time.
James: That would be me.
Tyler: That is correct from his time of introduction till now he has always been included even if silent.
Axel: Honestly amazing.
Volcan: Don't forget Ashley and Glitz as minor as they are.
Snap: I know that was a jab but that sounded more like a knockout.
Michael: Guys, we need to focus, we're here for a reason.

~Tyler's~

Looking around I'm in an area so unfamiliar to me it looks like Akala island and it's a star shower. Right by me was a young Typhlosion and kid like Rufflet. The Typhlosion looks similar to Volcan, but I could tell it wasn't him. I then understood I wasn't in my own body, then where am I?
"Papa, this is so pretty," the young rufflet nuzzled into me. With the friction I could tell I wasn't a normal Noivern. I was a lot bigger, with a thicker and longer tail, My arms weren't attached to my wings and had a bigger upper pair and a small supporting lower pair. I was in an entirely different body and yet it felt familiar.
"Master, you told me if you were to die it would take some time to be born again. How long would it take?" I then felt the body I was in shake lightly as if chuckling.
"Sun, even if I told you, I would be reborn as a child again with no memories of my time in the past" The voice was deep, but calming.
"Papa, but that's what your jewel is for," the young bird grabbed at the necklace I was wearing. The pendant was nothing special but it was split into three equal parts each having one color: Black, White, and Gray.
"That is correct, only as long as someone returns it to me that I retain everything I have learned" I could hear how content he was. I then noticed one star that seemed like it was getting closer. "Austin, I think it's time you went to our hut back in town. It's past your bedtime" I looked down at the kid who's name was Austin.
"Yes papa" He got up.
"Sun, will be back soon to tuck you in" I continued looking at the star approaching. I then saw the Typhlosion saying something but I couldn't hear him.
I then jolted awake in my room. "What the hell was that and who were those pokemon and who was I?" I then look around my room to ground myself. Looking at my clock I read '9:00 AM.' Then my ORB reminder came up showing I had a meeting with the professor in half an hour. I wonder why he selected specific pokemon to meet him and all of them are my friends. My brain is all over the place and I just woke up and I already asked two questions. I decided to get changed and chose gray shorts and sleeveless mesh white hoodie with palm trees. A nice beach outfit since I'll go there after our little meeting. Leaving my dorm and heading to the lab I could hear another a few body lengths behind me.
I then stop dead and so do they "You know I can hear you behind me?" I then turned around and was shocked to see Michael. I haven't spoken to him since we talked at the coffee shop.
"Hey, Tyler I saw you on your way to the lab so I thought I'd join you," he gave me his fang smirk, but this time I wasn't sure how I felt about it.
"That's fine," we then continued walking. We walked in silence in what felt like forever but was less than a minute
"Where's little Lucifer?" Michael asked me to stop in shock. He didn't know he went back home, it was just an honest question.
"He's back home . . . with my parents" I spoke slowly. I could see he was pouting to sympathize, but his tail was wagging. I could only assume he was thinking I'd give him my attention now.
"Tyler, I didn't know," he said softly. He then went to embrace me but I ducked past him.
"There's no need for that right now, we have a tournament to win" I brushed him off and we continued our way to the lab. In reality I don't know how I feel about Michael, he really did make me feel bad for wanting to spend time with my son. Then again we spent time together almost as if we were a family. Which being honest made me happy. We then made our way to the entrance of the lab to only see in the distance a very fuming Axel with a nonchalant Arthur.
"Hey lovebirds you doing alright" Michael teased them.
"It's bad enough I get teased by this dumb shark all day, I don't need to take shit from you" Axel spoke with growl. Though with closer inspection I could see a blush on his face.
"What can I say, you make it too easy," Arthur teased. "For one who is really skilled in combat, you suck at romance" He started to chuckle. "You should have seen Axel last night when a guy was trying to hit on him" Arthur broke out in a laughing fit.
"Wait, you mean to tell me Axel has been hanging out with you Arthur?" I was a bit offended. My own brother doesn't want to spend time with me.
"Yeah we've been going out together since this began. It started after you had that whole ordeal with Glitz," Arthur held his chin as if thinking. We then notice Volcan, James, and Snap coming our way. Snap wasn't looking the brightest today, almost as if he wanted to kill someone. Maybe I should do another examination on him.
"Good morning everybody," Volcan shared his joy for the day.
"Morning," I heard Snap mutter.
"Don't mind him, he's just not himself today" James spoke sheepishly. Ironic how their roles flip.
"If you have time after this meeting I can give you another examination" I offered to Snap.
"That would be great, please and thank you," as kind as his words were, they contradict his tone.
"H-" I was about to say something when I was cut off by a loud voice.
" I'm late!" Next thing I know I'm shoved back into Axel and we both hit the ground. Not only that, I think the assailant landed on me. If this couldn't get worse I felt a massive shock run through my body. "Tyler, Axel, I'm so sorry" I then recognised the voice to be Blaze. I opened my eyes and I didn't realize I had closed and I could see Blaze offering his hand.
"It's fine I feel like we needed that jolt of excitement," Axel responds plainly while trying to cover up his blush from earlier. We both took his hand and got up.
"I would like to stay out here and chat but then we would be late for our meeting" Blaze pointed out the time as we all rushed inside the professor's lab.
What do we see? Jason and the professor cuddling on the couch, how unprofessional.
"Professor we need you" Axel cleared his throat and kicked the couch with ease, waking both parties.
" I'm so sorry I forgot the time" The professor scrambled to his feet and went to a back room. "I will be right back, give me a minute," he said from his back room. We then notice Jason who rubs his eyes and looks at all of us.
"That's right, the meeting is today," after his shock of realization he joined us. Now that all nine of us are together I feel a light heat source coming from all of us, not like body heat and it was rather unnatural. I guess the others could feel it too since they were looking around confused. Before anyone could ask questions the professor came out the back room in his typical lab coat outfit.

I'm glad to see these students able to make it, yet they came when I lost track of time. I knew Jason and I should've stopped after the fourth movie. How inappropriate for them to find me like that and with another student. What am I saying I need to get on with why I brought them here.
"I'm glad that you're all here" I gesture for them to follow me to the audience chamber where I had my computer prepared and an area where they can sit. " I bet you all wonder why I asked you here?" They all confirmed in their own way 'yes' to my question. "Well let me throw a question your way. Have you ever had a voice in your head that's not your own, or maybe gained an immense amount of power so suddenly, evengot consumed by said new power?" I got nods from the crowd. "Then the fruits of my labor have prevailed" I cheered.
"Alright, but does this mean?" Blaze asked.
"Sorry, getting to that" I stopped my early celebration. "After I graduated I've been studying abnormalities in pokemon in any way or form. About three years back while searching some ruins in Sinnoh I came across a text that spoke of the Ace Operative project," I pulled up a picture of the stone tablet I collected. "It talks of how the world was born, but before that how Legendaries were taught how to create what we know as the universe. Within those legendaries there was the elite crew known as the eleven ace operatives" I explained the text on the tablet.
"That's nice and all, but what does that have to do with us?" Axel this time butt in.
"I'm getting there," I then let out a sigh. "Not only are they responsible for the world around us but they get the special opportunity to look over a pokemon and it could be any time period. This is one of the Aces jobs which is known as the overseer. Each of the Aces had a pokemon to look over and give some of their power to and I believe you all have an overseer" They all gasped at that except for Tyler, Axel, and Jason. "Funny how they were all given pokemon from the same era but the data shows you all have one" I spoke with confidence.

"Fine if you've been researching this then why is Snap out of control?" Volcans snapped at me.
"I never said I knew all the answers, the stone tablet I have is just one piece of the puzzle," I sighed a bit defeated.
"You're telling us you conducted research on students with only a fragment of knowledge on the subject," Blaze this time barked at me.
"Like your one to talk," Snap spoke bitterly.
"Well, I actually found two. The other was in the elemental region in the HotRock area. I was going cave diving which is a normal local thing to do when I wandered off and found another fragment," I then noticed everyone looked towards James.
"If you are wondering, yes, it is a normal local thing to go cave diving," James confirmed everyone's suspicion. We moved on.
"This tablet has mentioned the members of the Ace Ops. It spoke of a team of twelve legendary pokemon which after an incident turned to eleven. Aces have two names: the name they are given and their legion name. I was able to decipher further but this tablet mentions only five of the eleven members," I then sense confusion from them.
"Then how are nine of us here if you could only figure out five?" Michael asked.
"Even if I couldn't' figure out your overseer, I believe you have one," I then changed my screen to reveal pictures of them connecting to a legendary pokemon.
"Originally when I was looking for those with dormant power I thought it was caused by the crystals I had Tyler and Jason collect and they did alter one's power but not as significantly," They were confused again. "Tyler, if you remember your match with Glitz it was as if her power spiked out of nowhere, but after examining her she never awakened to a new power," Tyler nodded. "That's because those crystals you collected power my Orb to allow me to have access to any eevee form" I looked down at my watch to see the time. I guess I have a half hour left. "If you look I found out Volcan's ace power comes from Groudon, Jason's comes from Zygarde, Snap's comes from Yveltal, Arthur's comes from the Entei otherwise known as Jax," I reveal the ones I was able to piece together.
"You're telling me Snap has the God of death and destruction's power!" James had an outburst.
"Look at him, I'd honestly believe it,"Arthur countered.
"James, don't worry. As long as we find a solution" Snap tried to soothe him and for now James backed off. I then notice Tyler get up and go to my supper computer, copying and deleting files. I guess I should expect no less of the one who can hear a tree fall.
"If you are trying to save me it's too late" I looked in Tyler's direction.
"No way Milo, you are the best thing that has happened here. Yes, some of your tests were weird but we all look past that. I even enjoy your lectures" Tyler ranted while copying and deleting files. "Then why would you reveal all of this?" He asked seriously. I could tell the others were confused and don't understand the situation we're in.
"The reason I revealed all this is because I work for MT, but I understand if this research falls in his hands we will all be doomed," That shut them all up. "I've been working for him since I was six and he was the one who crafted my orb to allow me to switch between eevee forms. I was his apprentice and with his teachings I was able to graduate early and study on my own, to only report back to him," I spoke with regret in my voice.
"Then just leave!" Tyler snapped at him.
"Tyler, when it comes to my father you can't just leave. He has his ways," Blaze defended me understanding the position I'm in.
"Blaze, I also need to apologize to you, I watched you grow up and suffer at the hand of your father, but if I got in the way he would've done the same with me," I felt tears prick my eyes.
"What do you mean, besides my father I only met with the eeveelution maids" Blaze sounded confused.
"I was all those maids, it was me," I said disappointed with myself. "I then heard the beep of my door opening and had one last thing to say. "Before I go MT will return, maybe not to Ferrum but he never quits. Also if you get in my way I will not hesitate to eliminate you," as if on cue I saw Dean Dark and his assistant. " A pleasure to see you Dark and you as well Entei or do you prefer Jax Foxfire" I bowed by being graced by their presence.
"Just call me Entei you have no rights, not anymore" The fire cat is getting mad. I then notice Tyler has completely vanished and so has my research. I guess he tied up one of my loose ends. Now let me tie up another before I go.
"Jason, I have to say this before I go," I turned to him but then had a bolt of darkness shot my way. I was able to dodge.
"You will say nothing to my students" He continued shooting me and I had to dodge around. I had to use one of my orbs' many powers if I wanted to finish speaking. This one allows me to automatically dodge by shifting between planes in an instant so I look like I am phasing through reality.
"Everything I said was real and I wish I had more time with you. Please stay strong and fight on, just remember you can't be jealous of what you already have" with that said I made sure I completely vanished to a location they can't find me. I was in an open field and there was a cave not too far away. I really wish I didn't have to do this to my students but I don't have a choice. Though I feel bad for not telling them about my last fragment of research. I pull a little digital card out of my lab coat labeled Zexeler.
A/N: It is pronounced Zeler, like the zel in Zelda and then er.
I deemed it information that not everyone in that group should know, at least not yet. Zexeler is an old project from when MT was new to the world and yet I was able to revive some of his findings. He was even able to update some of this info during their first semester. To him Blaze and Tyler were key components in this project and me splitting Tyler and Axel makes things a bit more complicated. Outside of that I only know that Zexeler is a being that can absorb life and turn it into his own energy and it was strong enough to elude MT after it escaped. Another note is it reincarnates as itself again after he dies. So he still roams this earth but where could he be?

I decided to flee the scene and head to Neos City, with all the pokemon roaming they won't care enough to see what I'm doing. I decided to review what I uploaded to my ORB on a bench near an intersection. I had to go through his research, there is something he didn't share and is not matching up with what I saw. I could care less what the Dean is doing. He's still searching through his lab looking for remains, but I deleted it all. All I could find was that I was yet to be connected to a power. It doesn't show the connection that me and Blaze have.
"Tyler!" I close my Orb and look up to the sound of my name. I notice Arthur and Axel flying in my direction. Upon landing they joined me on my bench.
"What's your deal, you just ran away as they trashed Milo's office?" Arthur confronted me.
"None of your business I'm just doing what benefits me and Lucy. If it bothers you, leave" It was a bit more harsh than I intended.
"For someone who was close to the professor to not care is alarming" Axel commented, but it didn't feel like a stab, more like a push in the right direction for Arthur to take bait.
"That's right, and what is with you going to his computer and copying his data in the middle of his explanation?" He questioned me further. "For you to do this so casually, I feel like you know more than you let on" I'm getting agitated. For a dragon who's clueless and only knows how to fight, he is piecing things together quicker. I then send a glare to Axel.
"What is going on, I get a message from Michael that the lab is getting destroyed and then I notice you three in town" I roll my eyes at the sound of Liz's voice.
"Not like it's my fault" I scoffed. I wanted them off my back. I then noticed a light chuckle and it was Axel. It wasn't out loud, more like in my head. It was as if he was feeding off the negative emotion and panic. I then realized why he was smirking.
"For the one being accused of knowing the most you are very reluctant to share what you know" Liz was getting skeptical.

"How about you leave me alone and leave me to my antics" I grumble.
"I don't think you're going anywhere" Arthur grabbed my wrist. "If you won't talk willingly, I'll wager a fight and a thousand points" is it really this serious for him to gather this info.
"Let's not get hasty, I'll take Tyler's place in this duel" Axel's voice was so sinister it sent chills up my spine. It was as if I could sense his bloodlust. He pushed Arthur back.
"Tyler, you're not off the hook that easily. Then I challenge you for all of your points and what you know" Liz jumped in front of me. I would reject it if I wasn't surrounded, but for what it's worth if I take Liz's points I can join the final stage. Plus payback for her getting a final spot in the Grand Festival.
"Fine, let me show you what I can do" the four of us went to the center of the street to prepare for our matches. The force field went up and we accepted our invitations.
"Match preparations set, dual field engaged" an automated voice spoke out. Our giant force field split into two for our fights. " Fighters at the ready" I'm ready and no one will stand in my way. "3 . . . 2 . . . 1 Battle Begin!"
I decided to use my eyes right away, knowing it would take time to take effect. I then decide to absorb sunlight.
"If you think you can win by staying far away, you're mistaken" Charging at me with reckless abandonment I dodged. It wasn't as reckless as I thought because she recovered quickly and came at me, though this time it wasn't at full speed. She missed her attack again, but she didn't pass me instead going for a flurry of blows like close combat. This speed is new to me and caught me off guard allowing me to be struck by her flurry of powerful blows. I got sent sliding back making sure I didn't lose sight of her. That's when she saw the ball of green light, but that's when I instantly made it vanish.
"I hope you understand it's not important for you to know what was never shared with you" I decided to lecture her to stall for time.
"Whatever, blah, blah, blah. Fight me" She spoke in her normal toxic voice. I shrugged trying to warn her but I guess I have to show her the hard way.
'Synergy Ready' I heard my Orb in my ear.
"Burst!" I morph instantly to my form of truth. Not wasting any movement I sent a massive bolt of dragon energy into the sky only for it to split into many different meteors.
"This won't stop me" Liz also released Synergy and started to maneuver through the storm, but she won't know what hit her. With the snap of my finger one of my elemental mines went off blowing her up. I saw her fly in the air and get hit by draco meteor. Her body then landed on the ground but this time she was ready. She decided to guard with her special move Obstruct till Draco meteor was over. Little did she know her time was up. I started walking towards her calmly and she smirked as I came her way. SHe countered by hitting me with a throat chop but this only marks her downfall, with me being hit I exploded another mine on her.
"What the hell is this?" She grunted. I could see she was obviously panting.
"I keep evolving my power and these elemental mines are planted everywhere and I can set them off at any given time" I smirked at my power.
"Not that, this feeling I have towards you" I knew what she was talking about.
"So you noticed but it's too late" I then noticed her eyes dilated. "Now please say I, Liz Fang forfeit this match" I looked her in her eyes.
"I Liz Fang, forfeit this match" with that our match was called.
"Winner by forfeit Tyler Loft!" The automated voice cheered. I then noticed she fainted and I as well had a headache from using my eyes for so long. I decided to move her to the bench and that was when I noticed Axel did the same for Arthur.
"I'm guessing you got your bloodlust out?" I rolled my eyes at Axel.
"For now" he groaned. We then left town so they wouldn't catch us. I then got a message on my Orb.
'Tyler Loft rank: 12th place' at least something good came out of this.
"Tyler?" Axel's voice threw me out of my trance and it was gruff. "Let's focus on this tournament first then look into Milo's research. If we go looking now and end up confused, only a question will arise with no answer" I could tell he was speaking from the heart. "Promise me you will not look for answers till we are done" we were walking past Tellur town.
"I promise" I nodded my head.
~Dark's~
(Memories of you - Sapphire)
I can't believe I let go of my cool and couldn't take down a single eevee professor. Granted he is well versed in combat and science, but I'm an Ace Operative. If dad finds out I let one of MT's goons escape I'm dead.
"Dean Dark, we did a full scan of the Lab and what was left and there were no remnants of his work in there" Jax came back and reported to me. I let out a long hefty sigh.
"That means, either he took it or hid it somewhere" I highly doubt option A though since he seemed remorseful about even finding out about the Aces. What am I to do? I look back to the three photos behind me. Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem.
"Sorry to comment without persian, but I still have yet to get all my memories back but I do remember enough to know those were your best friends back in training" jax commented and he was right.
"You're right but that was eons ago when we were in school and yet as we remain they keep going through their cycles, stuck in a forever loop thanks to MT" I sigh as they can't escape their fate. As time runs, things get worse. I worry I might have to cancel the final stage. Not an option we have to keep going, I'll explain everything I can once it's all over just like I promised Axel. I wish you were here, old friend. I pulled out a fragment of a pendant and it was white.
Action: So much lore in this chapter.
Glitz: Thanks for the headache.
Ashley: Maybe there should be spark notes on his chapters.
Action: Thanks assholes.
Mona: No problem, it's what we're here for.
Action: *Sigh* anyway I'd like to thank you all for joining me and warning that the next chapter is sort of filler fun so it's not important just shenanigans.
