It would seem I'm the first match and when I think about it I haven't had any true interaction with this guy. So why does it feel like he wants me dead at least more dead compared to the others he's faced. Standing center field like this isn't helping. My legs are wobbly like a newborn deerling. I've seen some of his matches and it would seem his opponents are paralyzed with fear but only after they look him dead in the eyes.

"As you all do know the two sophomore exhibition matches will be going on simultaneously" I could see Dean Dark on his throne like chair. I also notice Tyler and James on a field next to Axel and I. "Let's see who will come on top" Dean sounded ready to start but before he did I heard a poisonous voice.

"Hey mutt, you may not know a lot about me but I surely know a lot about you" I was a bit shocked by what he said. "No I will not go easy on you, you Fleabag emo little shit!" talk about a sharp tongue.

"Axel I thought we talked about being an asshole to my friends!" I hear Tyler's voice from the other field. Nonchalantly my tail started to wag, maybe he does want to invest into us being thing.

"You know he deserves it" I could hear a low grumble from his voice.

"Without further ado, let's get these battles started!" Dean Dark's voice boomed through the stadium.

(Axel's Theme - Infinite Rivals)

"3 . . . 2 . . . 1. Battle Begin!" The timer counted down and without a hitch Axel vanished from my line of sight. Now that is something new. He then instantly appeared in front of me, but I didn't have enough time to react to his attack. He sliced at me, sending me sliding back, but he didn't stop there he continued the onslaught by running in for more blows. This time I tried to counter, but he disappeared right before my eyes and then I got a blow to my side sending me tumbling across the field.

"It would seem with two clean hits Michael can't keep up" Dean Dark commented. I would say thanks for the boost of confidence but he's right, Axel is on a whole other level. I then looked up and I saw straight into his blood eyes. Everything around us changed, there was a sea of blood and broken buildings. The water level was low and covered my paws but that didn't matter if I'm paralyzed in fear. I could hear the splash of Axel getting closer to me.

"Welcome to my paradise or should I say the home of the broken" He spoke in a grim dark voice. I didn't understand what he was trying to say. "This is the inside of a fragmented heart and how it feels. A perfect representation of how one feels yet it can't reach the outside world. One day it will and I will correct anyone who has wronged the one I am here to protect" I was so confused what he was going on about. I had to fight back. I was ranked third after all. I charge up powerful dark energy in my mouth and blast.

"Take my Dark Pulse '' he took it head on but I knew it wouldn't affect him too much. I just used it to get out of close range. I slid in the water but still had traction.

"Seems like you have some tricks, though simple tricks like this won't work on me" His voice is so sinister it shakes me to my core. I guess I'll try something new but before I could think I saw a poison spike come right at me and rolled out of the way. I then noticed more coming my way.

"Ugh, Incinerate nova blast" I altered the power of incinerate and turned it into a massive bomb, blowing up the poison spikes. It started to fall down as rain. " Thanks for the fun but I need to win" I bet I didn't sound convincing with my legs wobbling. "Synergy burst!" and the aura of cold left my body and I started to freeze the blood around us.

"I knew it, your heart is cold" he snarled. I won't take this sitting down. I start running his way cloaked in a veil of ice to the point I'm running in a ball of ice in his direction. Though it wasn't red like I expected since the whole area is blood red, it was clear like it normally was.

"So this world is a mental illusion?" I crashed right into him sending shards everywhere.

"Close but soon this world will be reality" he let out a grim chuckle. The bloody water started to shape into a sphere and then got blasted at me and got my fur wet. I then opened my eyes and saw Axel stares at me, dead in my eyes. "Here are my new eyes, Para Gyze Despair" all you could see was his eye swirl and I couldn't move at all and all I felt was fear.

A/N: Pronounced "para guyz" Like a pair of guys.

He walked up to me and I was completely frozen and his eyes were still swirling.

"You have two options: give up or let me utterly crush you, either way you can't win at this point" he brought his claw under my chin. How is he this strong, I couldn't move and if I bothered to it hurt immensely.

"I Forfeit" I made sure I was heard.

"The winner of the first exhibition is Axel Dark!" I heard the Dean cheer and the world around me changed back to the battlefield we started with.

"You took the easy way out, oh well I'll get my revenge one day" he walked off not even paying attention to the other fight going on.

~James's~

A/N: James's second theme

It would seem Tyler has gotten stronger since our last match and that's what I like to see. I am maneuvering through a draco meteor and yet I can't find him anywhere .I'm getting sick of this. We're both dynamaxed up to full power.

"Grand Nova!" It's a move I stole from Volcan and is a rather strong move. It forces the flames from inside your body out and everywhere. I watched the meteors crumble and wither away. What I wasn't prepared for was this new move.

"Try Mine sweeper mark two!" Instead of their being green balls of light they were green, blue, red, yellow, and purple. He was able to fuse different element types into a Solar beam. A chain reaction set off and this time knocked me out of the sky.

"It would seem you are now able to hear me" I heard a confident and yet snarky unknown voice play in my head. "Let me make this simple so I don't waste either of our time. You have awakened a very strong power. What you do with it is your choice. Just know you now have access to the power of the eleven operatives. Now take the power and beat this kid" I couldn't believe what I was hearing but I didn't question. I opened my wing to catch myself and to my surprise not only did they catch the wind but blazing wings of flame expanded from them.

A/N: Just like how Choji from Naruto has his chakra form like butterfly wings.

"Let's test out this new power" My body blazes red and then blue as I charge head on in Tyler's direction with a brave bird.

"I've learned a thing or two from our last battle" Tyler retorted. "Here's my new shield, Stone edge wall!" Pillars of rock formed around him and not only that but were obstructing my way towards him. Not only defensive but offensive as well. I need this and will sacrifice anything I can.

"Time to use a new move Burn up!" I flapped my wings and a small flame was sent at the wall. How anticlimactic for a move that drained me of all my fire energy to the point I couldn't keep my form up anymore. Then when it made contact with the wall I was hit with a blinding light and felt the flames of my own move. Next thing I know I'm on the ground and can't move.

"This match is a draw, no clear winner!" Dean Dark shouted. I then entirely blacked out.

~Tyler's~

When I came to, I was in Milo's lab. Ironically enough everyone who competed in today's exhibition matches were here resting and I could see Jason was doing routine checks on everyone's vitals and injuries.

"Oh you're doing better, your scales were so scorched when you came in" Jason sounded worried for me and this sounded genuine.

"Well whatever you did worked so I thank you" I gave him a hug. "If you don't mind I'm going to take a look at what parts of my body got damaged during the fight on the computer" he shrugged and let me do what I wanted. When I went through my recent records I found a lot more than I wanted. It showed massive connections between students a professor shouldn't know. As well showing blood work and saying that not only mine is identical to Axel's but to Blaze's as well. I mean twin like, not just similar. My name was also marked under a folder called the fourteen powers. Linking, me, Axel, James, Snap, Volcan. It's interesting, I must copy this down to my Orb.

~Dark's~

Sitting in my office doing my normal work and Axel and Jax come bursting in my office.

"Dad, what's the meaning of this, what's an ace operative?" I guess this would leak out eventually. Why bother telling him now though it will only drag out the process I have foreseen for ages. I glare at Jax for somehow letting out the name of ace operative, when I was promised a future of fun and no stress I didn't Id' actually experience it on the way how naive of me, I wish Bracer was here.

"How about get out of my office and properly ask me questions like you would the president of any establishment" I use my booming voice knowing that's the only way for others to listen. It straightens both of them and relaxes me.

"I'm sorry sir for this to be sprung on you but it's almost time for him to know the truth and his role" Jax did speak the truth and yet I have to wait.

"When I deem him ready to understand he will understand. For now just do as you're told and Jax, make sure you are playing your part in this as well" I sigh rubbing my temple with my thumb. They instantly left my office and I let out a sigh of relief. I swear dealing with children is annoying, yet what can I say I'm over 4000 years old and act like I'm 40 same goes for Jax though he acts like he's 20. I then look down at my desk, as long as we do as we're told all evil will be abolished and we can all live in peace. Looking behind me I see six photos, my older brother and sister Damon and Paula as well as our father Arceus. Then we have three who were the closest to me, Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem. They all meant so much to be but for now they are gone. I will see you again.

Action: Hi everyone I am alive. I have just been busy with college and swimming. I decided today I would update at least one chapter since it is Tyler's and I's birthday. November 17th. I am finally 18.

Tyler: I am as old as the story tells and I'm 19 to be 20 in the next book.

Axel: Hey it's also my birthday as well.

???: Same with me.

Action: Hey they don't know that yet get in the back.

Michael: Anyway we hope you liked today's chapter.

James: And please be patient with Action, he's doing his best.
