"Tyler you have another challenger!" I was putting a form that was completed by another player in line in our stash.

"Thanks Jason, but they won't win" he spoke in a grim tone. Actually everything about him has changed as of last night. His style is all black he speaks with a hushed dark tone as if he is quiet angry. He even dyed his fur black and gave off the idea of leave me alone. His fighting style today as well has become more aggressive and this is not the bubbly happy Tyler we all know. I don't want to think about it too much. I'm not responsible for Tyler, I may now be his friend but still not my problem. I continued helping others in line with signing forms. So far Volcan has had about twenty challenges and all were wins, Tyler with eleven and won ten, Glitz had five which were two wins, and I have had two, which were all wins and it's not even lunch time. After helping the last two in line they both wanted to challenge Tyler.

Lately he has been relying on relentless physical attack in his devil form. Not saying I'm naturally scared of him but god is it scary with his spikes and claws all blood red and his eyes giving off a red hue as if he is in a bloodlust. Though one thing hasn't changed this morning and it's how he finishes his opponents. He sends his opponent a glare and it paralyzes them but not like the normal move, they can still move but they try to run but the finishing blow is an iron tail to the back.

"Tyler I'm amazed, you have improved a lot in the span of hours" Volcan attempted a compliment. All that came from Tyler was growl as his next challenger came to the field.

"He didn't even let me heal his wounds," Glitz complained.

"He's fine don't worry. He hasn't taken a lot of damage in his last few fights. I then noticed someone else walk up to the booth. They were an Eevee and I could tell they were older than me, but if that's the case why haven't they evolved? He was wearing a white hoodie and some white sweatpants.

"Hi I'm Jason and welcome to the Battle Booth, how may I help you?" I wanted to vomit at how nice I was being.

"Oh I'm not here to participate. I'm here to watch" he made his way past registration to get a closer look. "I just realized I didn't introduce myself, I'm Micheal Tailside. Please call me Milo" he sounded genuine. Thinking about it he seems to be in his thirties yet he still goes by the nickname of Milo. Kind of cute I have to say, but I'm not into older guys like that.

"If you want to know who's fighting-" I was trying to be nice, but I was interrupted by him.

"Tyler Loft, an infamous Noivern with major abilities. Recently changing his devil like form to when he first attained it" how did he know that much. That was almost three years ago. Have other pokemon been watching us for that long? "You seemed shocked. I specialize in unknown pokemon phenomenon and for instance your friend is a statistical anomaly. Any Pokemon who has access to all this power, their body would be destroyed" he spoke as if well versed and I was learning something. He is right Tyler having access to this much power isn't natural.

"You don't seem like the type of guy to just study random pokemon phenomenon. What else do you do?" I was honestly intrigued.

"Well I have studied a bit in sociology and psychology, not only that, but astrology and astronomy. I studied in some other fields while going to school, but those are what I'm good at" he seemed to ramble on like a nerd and became bashful at times but he never took his eyes off the two matches Tyler had won.

"Well thank you for stopping by, but it would seem all of the morning matches are over, so please leave" Glitz sounded so demanding.

"I was leaving anyway and I have to say this school has some interesting students" he then walked to the entrance.

"Oh wait, have this" I know I wasn't supposed to give him some of our prize merch but I wanted to. I decided to grab a small pout with three different types of mochi in it.

"Thanks and I will find a way to repay your kindness" he then walked off, and the way he responded to the treat was kind of weird I have to say.

"Was that a new friend" Volcan walked over with a teasing tone in his voice.

"Hardly" I spoke out and tapped my foot on the floor. "I would say that guy is more of an acquaintance" I whipped up some sand at Volcan's chest.

"Could have fooled me" Tyler spoke in a quick dark tone, in all honesty made me jump.

"You're one to talk, you were fighting" I retorted in a defensive position.

"Anyone could have seen clear as day what was going on between you two" Tyler's voice sent a shiver up my spine and not a good one. The others nodded in agreement and then it happened Tyler sent a glare my way with a smirk and instantly it was as if I was plunged into a nightmare, but I was wide awake. Everything around us went away and all you could see was red and Tyler was slowly creeping closer to me and I never knew how scary it is to face him like this. It's as if his presence sends fear.

"I told you already not to use that technique out of combat" I heard Volcan's voice and everything was back to normal around us.

"You're no fun I was just messing with him" Tyler spoke with a grumble.

"Anyway you are changing back to look normal?" Glitz asked and I agreed. He was in his anthro form right now but he still was in his devil like state.

"Nah, this is better plus it doesn't drain energy to look like this, so it's fine" he walked off with his hands in his pockets.

I don't know if this is new or if the devil form itself is now an alter personality but I'm not sure if I like the change. We decided to close the booth for the day since the Grand festival finals are going to be held this afternoon and boy did I feel betrayed by Ashley in the last round. All I say is that she deserved the karma.

"Tyler, where are you going? The stadium is this way" I spoke up.

"It's not for a couple hours, I wanted to grab something to eat" he continued walking as if we were holding him back. What is with him?

"I wonder what happened to him?" Volcan asked. I can't believe how dense this man is yet he's so smart,

" I can take a guess" we then walked off making our way to the stadium.

~Glitz's~

(Accumula Town - Pokemon Black/White)

We ended up in a cafe at Neos city funny enough this is where the S - virus outbreak started. Tyler ended up getting some type of burger which surprised me, he isn't one to eat heavy meat like this, especially with the thing being a bacon double cheeseburger at that. I ended up getting a salad with a smoothie. Ashley has told me before that Tyler loves fruit and if he does eat meat it's light and won't weigh him down.

"Something wrong? You've been staring for a while" he caught me off guard. I'm not one to show fear but he may be the first to make me do so. He spoke in a deep voice which was different from his normal voice. It wasn't tainted with malice though. If I think about it it's almost similar to Arthur's.

"No, I was just thinking. Have a problem with that?" I responded as if challenging him. I heard a light growl coming from him.

"You're lucky he doesn't want me to cause a scene," Tyler continued eating. He? I looked around and saw the manager, was he talking about him? Maybe I should talk to Ashley about this later.

"Can you be any more of a grump? What has you in a sour mood all of a sudden?" I shouldn't have done that; it was as if I was poking a bear with a stick, yet when do I care about setting off others.

"I'm acting the same as always. I have no clue what you're talking about" is he being serious this is a total change in character.

"Oh there you two are" I looked out the booth we were sitting in and Ashley came in and then her eyes were fixated on Tyler. She then looked back at me with confusion.

"Ashley I didn't want to change back, is that a problem?" he had sarcasm written all over him.

"N-no, but you're eating heavier amounts of meat then you naturally do and your voice it's different. Are you okay?" I could obviously tell she was worried, I mean these changes don't happen overnight, but I guess for Tyler it does.

"Amusing to see you ask now if I'm okay" he let out another growl as he got up to walk out, not before paying for his food.

"What was that?" Ashley took the seat next to me and started to pick at the fries that were left on his plate.

"He's been acting this way since morning though when he's in his normal form he dyed his fur black and his voice is in its normal pitch. After we finished at the booth today he didn't want to change back and he's been very aggressive in and outside of fights" I explained further and Ashley listened. While I was talking to her I tried my best to comfort her.

"We shouldn't be leaving him alone if he's irritable like this" Ashley stole my smoothie and drank the rest of it.

"I mean's been pushing everyone away" I rubbed the back of my head.

"What about Blaze? He probably knows what to do" Ashley spoke with haste looking for a solution only to know I'll shoot it down.

"He hasn't said a word about Blaze or talked about him once today. I think something may have happened" Ashley then wrapped her arms around my neck and rested her head in the crook of my neck.

"I'm just worried about my baby cousin," she admitted.

"He's technically an adult"

"To me he will always be my baby cousin. Anyway let's get going. The finals will start soon and I told the others to save us seats" Ashley grabbed my wrist ushering me up to pay and we left.

Even if she looks chipper about the finals she's still upset about losing and she is now worried about Tyler, but I guessed she figured he needed some space.

~Arthur's~

News about Tyler is spreading around the school like a wildfire. Rumors are spreading that Tyler is now a merciless fighter with red eyes that show you your greatest fear. What did Tyler do for others to be afraid of him like this. I was just walking through Neos city and came across Tyler, I thought he would be at the festival finals. They should have started the opening ceremony about half an hour ago but he's hanging outside of the student care center. I guess he came to watch Lucifer for a second. Though watching from afar it looked as if he was talking to himself and he wasn't happy about it. I noticed he dyed his fur black, wonder that's all about. I noticed while getting closer his whole appearance changed matching the form he had last night but Anthro like he normally is.

"Hey Tyler -" I was cut off.

"Just the guy I was looking for" Holy shit his voice deep and carried a lot of ill will in it's tone. Maybe the rumors were true.

"Why are you looking for me? Shouldn't you be watching today's finals. Maybe a loser like you could learn something" why did I say that I'm trying to get on friendly terms with him and that's how I respond.

"I frankly could care less about that. Though it's my lucky day, I came across one of the few I allowed to crush" how he praised it was creepy.

"If you are looking for a fight, I'd be happy to oblige" I gave him a smirk and walked out to the street.

"Fine by me but this won't be a Ferrum sanctioned match were going by pokemon single battle rules" Tyler followed suit pulling up his Orb screen to make this duel recognized by the system. My screen then popped up with a battle challenge from Tyler.

"It's been a while since we fought against one another officially" I accepted and we transformed, yet Tyler was starting out in his devil like state. "You're going to stay like that, what happened to relying on different powers depending on the situation?" I was just trying to get a rise out of him but I got a growl in return.

"Don't worry I only need this to defeat you" a force field appeared around us as a clock started counting down. As soon as it read 'begin' Tyler sent a glare my way. Everything around us became red as if the color of blood and his eyes glowed with a red hue. Looking around my feet it was as if I was walking in a river of blood. " You like my 'Bloody Gaze'?" it was as if he was taunting me. I then went in for an attack but I was having trouble moving. Like my body was paralyzed with fear and wanted to go the other way. "You may want to listen to what your body tells you" he started to chuckle. This is not like him.

"I'm not one to give in easily" I retorted and a belt of rocks appeared circling around me. "Take this, Stone edge!" all the stones were hurled at him.

"I've been told you're not one to coincide easily, but with time you will" he started charging at the rocks and jumped up dodging them. With him coming to a landing soon he decided it would be best to wrap his tail around my neck as he landed behind me, knocking me off balance and into the pool of red. I then come to realize it's becoming harder to breathe. "Don't worry I won't kill you, I'm just making sure you feel physical pain equal to the emotional pain Tyl- I have felt" he tried to hush me as if I were a child. Soon a storm of sand appeared around us and some getting in his eye, forcing him to release his grip on me.

"Seems like you're still susceptible to basic tricks. Take this!" My claw glowed in a blue color as I swung at his shin, knocking him to his knees. I got up and looked at him clearly. He couldn't see in the sandstorm and had his eyes closed. " I guess this will be a quick match" I swung at him again using Dragon claw but he stopped it.

"Even if I can't see, I am known as the soundwave pokemon and can hear what's going on and create the scene from there" he sent my claw back and his claw was cloaked in ice. "Take this, Ice punch!" he hit me square in my chest and it was all over. I flopped on my back reaching the concrete. Concrete? I thought we were in the blood red sea place. I guess it's an illusion he causes with fear. I do have to say I didn't expect to lose and so easily.

"Winner Tyler Loft! Rank up 82!" The system PA spoke. "Arthur, Loser! Stats are the same, rank 35" I guess nothing was truly lost.

"Thanks for the match, I think I'm content now" In that instant Tyler retired to his normal self and passed out, but I made sure to catch him. What is going on?

~Gladion's~

(Papermoon - Soul Eater)

"This year's winner is no other than Sonia Sparks!" Marrion cheered out. " Compared to everyone else even to the judges she is way ahead of the other contenders. In second place we have Flora Bloom and following her is Liz Fang in second place and in fourth we have Yowai Two!" The crowd cheered and I have to say they all did well though I would never admit it to their faces. " We can't wait to see you next year and to Sonia we hope to see you in this coming Spotlight Grand festival, this is your formal invitation and grant for winning the grand festival in Ferrum!"

"Thank you so much, I am so glad to have my skill recognized" she gave off a cute smile and the top four made their way offstage.

"This now formally concludes the Ferrum region Grand Festival!" Everyone was getting up to leave and do their own thing. I've noticed Snap and James hanging out a lot and Zack has been avoiding me a lot lately. I thought we had something. Ugh, get that out of your head. You're here to become stronger so you can protect not only Lily but all of Ula Ula. I then see a message appear from my Orb.

"Tyler is in the Hospital!"

Action: Wow I was really inspired to write this, that I did it in a day.

Gladion: Woopdido go for you.

Action: Thanks Gladion I appreciate it.

Zack: You know he's- You know what I won't.

Action: Anyway I hope you guys enjoyed this month's chapters.
