~Blaze's~

I don't like to remember growing up. All the experiments, white rooms, blood tests. My father a man made pokemon, wanted to create a pokemon that he could alter at will, lucky me he had failed but it didn't stop the pain I felt, it only went from physical to mental. Not only could he not reverse the effects but in doing so he called me a failed product. Actually I wasn't legally his son till the age of eight and on my certificate it says Yoawai Blaze Two. He was never there when I needed him, never spoke of my mother and always hated me for things I can't control. Every time I showed improvement or that a previous experiment worked, he always expected results sooner and I'd be punished for it. Let it be a physical beating, destroying things I owned, or a reminder I'm just his puppet.

I hate to say it but I did take an interest in science after some time even though it plagued half my life and anything I was proud of he would destroy. I took in interest in fights and contests as well and at the time I was about fifteen years old. This when I found out I liked guys and my dad didn't like that one bit. That night he beat me till I was coughing up blood on my bedroom floor. I never had the power to defy him either, how could I? He's a legendary pokemon after all.

I always dreamed of what it would be like growing with love and friends around but that was too far gone. The only friend I really had was Duke and he disappeared too much. One thing I will never forget is when I completed my entrance exam into Ferrum battle college and dad asked me into his office a week after the fight.

"Dad, you called me" I spoke stepping inside.

"I told you before you have no right to call me that" he snapped back as I took a seat.

"Yes sir, sorry" I averted my eyes.

"I wanted to talk to you about your exam" he pulled up a recording of my fight. "It took you ten minutes to win and not only that your movements were sloppy. Have you been practicing?" he scolded my performance.

"I got one of the highest marks for the freshman class" I let out a whine. I then felt a sting on my face.

"Not what I asked for!" he spoke sternly.

"Yes, I have" he gave me a look as if it's not good enough.

"Instead of working on that old project of yours, how about working on something that helps your future" I winced.

"Dad I said I want to be a contest star like Fantina" I then heard him laugh.

"You! A contest Star!" He continued to laugh in my face. "With terrible performances like that I highly doubt you'll make it to the grand festival" I shrinked in my seat. The only pokemon who makes me feel so less of myself is him. He's the only one who can bring tears to eyes, he's the only one who makes me feel terrible.

"I'll show you! I swear!" I had an outburst as I stood up while slamming my hands on his desk.

"What did I tell you when you yell at me?" He used his psychic abilities to lift me up in the air by my throat. His voice was sinister, dark and full of ill will. "You're lucky today is orientation" he dropped me. "Go pick up that worthless friend of yours and get to the gym. I did as I was told angry as hell. I went to my room to clean up and look my best. While in my room I looked over the machinery I was able to have thanks to the asshole who's my father. Though thanks to that I'm able to produce something in secret. It's supposed to make it so you can fuse with another pokemon blood or with the other pokemon. So far all have been a bust. I've been using synergy crystals, but they aren't very reliable. Going to the airport to pick up my friend was the best thing that happened to me, I met Tyler. A bubbly Noivern that had multiple powers and pursued the same future as me, of course not under the same circumstances. Originally I was attached to him for science purposes like how his eyes become different colors or the multiple powers he is able to create. Though before the opening ceremony I had a breakthrough after I did a blood test with Tyler. Lucky for me I dad was there when I had it.

"Blaze how many times do I have to tell you, stop wasting your time with that noivern there are so many students that are stronger than him" I rolled my eyes.

"Dad if you could only witness how he's able to handle all this power then you would understand" I continued mixing vials.

"I've been through his file, he has access to mega, delta, and devil. I'll say the devil is the most impressive he has out of all of them" my dad for once gave out a compliment. "He has more power than you" he let out a snide comment.

"Just because he has access to more power doesn't mean he controls it well! I can beat him any day!" I then covered my mouth. No words had to be said as I felt I couldn't breath.

"Yowai, what have I said about that tongue of yours!" I tried to give him a visual. "Yes that's right bite it" he let me go. "I think I'm done for the night, call me when you have something good" he was about to walk out but I mixed two drops of Tyler's blood in a vial of my distiller and two yellow stones formed at the bottom. This is amazing; his blood can create synergy crystals. Now I need a test subject to see the effects. This can be what I'm looking for, or what dad's looking for in his plan. Am I actually going to go through with this?
