I'm not happy to be back at school, but I have to. After our return Shun or should I say Giratina went back to work, I would leave my egg in daycare while taking classes and everything was normal. Except for Blaze and Arthur always fighting for my attention. I also noticed that James and Snap are more connected as well as Gladion and Zack. It's been four months since our return and the Lunar festival is around the corner. Specifically one week. Lucky for me I got my last few ribbons as well as everyone else and we needed to have them in by last week. Only 80 students out of 160 qualified and rumor has it they will be expelled. Let's get away from that. The Lunar festival is about three weeks long and in the first week they hold the school's grand festival and last week they hold the Chroma League. All teams who are in the red league compete in challenges to get to the Chroma League. Last year only sixteen teams made it to the Chroma League and competed in the final tournament. Right now 48 teams are competing to join the Chroma league and all of our friends are too, but we all fear being cut. Sadly this year they won't be doing the individual tournament, something about budget cuts due to last semester. Let's not think about that right now though I need to finish making our booth for the festival. If you don't know, the festival is student run, with booths all in the Ferrum region. I decided to work with Volcan, Jason and Glitz, our booth is a fighting booth and the challenger can choose to fight one of the four of us, if they win they get a prize. One thing as well you have to run the booth at least four times a week, which is no problem Glitz is a trained healer and said she learned a lot in her support classes. So we can be patched up quickly.

"Hey, Tyler, do you think it would be cool if one of the prizes was food?" Jason spoke while eating some gummy bears.

"I mean sure but it would have to be cooked the day of, otherwise it would be spoiled" I played with the pencil in my hand while I had my egg in my lap. If you can't tell we're having a group meeting in my room about the booth.

"Doesn't sound bad to me, but don't go and use a lot of ingredients I don't plan on losing" Volcan spoke with confidence which I could only giggle at.

"We have to make it something delicious so people would think about fighting us" Glitz spoke while thinking. We're not the top ranked students, besides Volcan whose top 20.

"I got it let's have mochi be another prize" we all nodded and I added it to the list we had. We had life size teddy bears, Fusion crystals ( New ones I stole from Blaze before he put them on the market), and some tms/trs.

"I think that's good enough" I spoke and the rest agreed. We all cheered and grabbed soda's out of my fridge.

"Alright team let's make this a fun festival" Volcan cheered and then I felt my egg rattle. We then all froze.

"Is your egg hatching?" Glitz looked at it confused. Then we heard a crack.

"I think it is, I didn't expect this to happen so soon" I set the egg on my desk letting my child do his job and try to break free.

"Do you even have a name?" Jason asked.

"Yes, his name is Lucifer" everyone had 'O's on their mouths. The egg then shattered and in front of me was my Oshawott son. He looked at me with his black eyes and waived his tail a bit.

"Osha, Osha" he spoke as he scanned the room.

"Hi Lucifer, I'm your father Tyler" I scooped him up in my arms and nuzzled his cheek.

"Look at that, Tyler, a father at nineteen" I heard it was Jason followed by an "Ow!" he deserved it. The words set in, I am a dad, maybe not by blood, but I'm this otters father.

"Osha, Osha" he started playing with the shell on his chest while giggling.

A/N: Remember pokemon do not get their human-like forms till they are around eight or nine and can't speak properly until a year. Pokemon grow faster than humans anyway.

"Tyler, we'll set up the booth and don't forget to talk to the school daycare" Glitz spoke while escorting everyone out my room. When the door closed I let him on the floor to see what he would do. He started walking slowly to my bed and tried to climb on top.

"Let me help you little one" I walked over and helped him up. He then started to rest his head on my pillows as if he were tired. I guess it takes a lot of energy to hatch, I never asked my mother about when I hatched but she said I was really loud. I decided to take some photos of the hatched egg and him sleeping with my Orb. I then decided why not climb in bed and Join my son. I got next to him and out him on my chest and rested his head in my fur. I'm so happy he hatched.

A/N: If I'm being serious this would have been the end of the chapter which is super short to my standards, but why not put some of what I planned for the next chapter here.

"So for the flavors we have strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, Cookie Dough, Mango, and Dragon Fruit" Glitz read off the list of Mochi we have prepared.

"Yeah that's right, now all we need to do is box them and put them in our freezer" Volcan spoke.

"Please don't melt them tinder box," Jason said with a snicker. I couldn't help but laugh as well, but then Volcan let off a small explosion in front of Jason.

"Now who's laughing," Volcan let out a chuckle.

"Let's not waste our energy fighting tonight. Our booth opens tomorrow and Jason and Tyler are competing in the grand festival tomorrow" Glitz scolded us.

"Yeah , that's right" Jason sounded fired up. "One thing you should know is this year they are pairing us all with partners this year and only the top sixteen teams will qualify" my eyes shot out of my head.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner!" I yelled at him.

"I assumed you knew it's all in the newsletter that was sent out this week, though we won't know our partners till the day of.

"Well, then we best hurry and pack these all up. No one goes to bed till these are all put away" I feel like Glitz is my strict mother right now. We spent the next two hour packing mochi in the fridge and at some points sneaking a bite ourselves.

"We're done!" Both Jason and I shout.

"Yeah, now get to rest you two. You'll need it for tomorrow" we nodded at Volcan.

"Glitz, you want to do some training?" we started making our way out.

"You idiot it's eleven at night!" She screeched and all of us laughed.

"Then maybe we can do some other training?" Volcan spoke so smoothly and I couldn't help but chuckle.

"You'll be pushing up daisies if you keep talking" after that Jason and I ran out. I walked Jason to his dorm knowing Lucifer was already tucked asleep.

"Tyler" he stopped before his door. "I know our relationship has been rocky in the past, but I hope it can be repaired" I nodded not knowing where he was going with this. "For now though you're my rival and I want to beat you in this festival" he spoke with a cocky smirk.

"You won't beat me" I trapped him in a one sided hug. "Good night and good luck" I let go and started rushing to my building. Then I thought to myself about my last few contests. I always come in low on my performance scores and I've mostly been winning due to knockouts and if I just let time run I would lose. I feel like I should've signed up as a fighter and not a performer. I didn't notice at first but the dark aura from during the Holy Road tournament surrounded me. This time though it wasn't anger it was doubt and fear. I can't let the power I tamed consume me again and it's not Giratina who's fueling the fire. I made it to my room and I had a raging headache.

"I'll just go to sleep and feel better tomorrow" I laid down next to Lucifer and made it so he was resting in my fur. That night was the most restless night I had.

"Let's get the Lunar Festival started!" Marrion was on all the Tv's in the Ferrum region. "We're coming at you live from the grand Ferrum stadium" the screen did a camera pan of the stadium we use for promotions. "Today eighty students will be performing to qualify for the second stage!" Then another pokemon joined Marrion.

"Not only that, but they will be paired up, to make this a double performance! Hello everyone I'm Vivian!" Vivian appeared.

"Not only that but only sixteen teams will move on to the second stage. Hello everyone, I'm Lilian!" The three of them together are the three announcers of Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh.

"Now watch as our eighty contestants take center stage!" They al lannoced and that was our cue. We all made our way and stormed the field. Ashley, Flora, Blaze, Jason and I decided to march out as a group.

"Now let's introduce some favorites to win" They gestured to the screen and four pokemon were on it. " From the freshman class we have Yowai!" I then see Blaze blush.

"Why does it show Blaze's face, but not his name?" I asked.

"Because his middle name is Blaze, Yowai is his first name. In english it means weak" Flora spoke nonchalantly.

"Shut up, let's not remember that my dad's an ass please!" he spoke fuming.

"From the sophomore class we have Liz!" It was an obstagoon. Why does her name sound familiar?

"Damn, I thought she quit" I gave a questioning look to Jason.

"From the Junior class we have Mona!" on the screen was an Empoleon.

"From the senior class we have Sonia!" I then looked at the screen confused.

"Why is she in contests and why didn't we see her at the first contest!?" Flora spoke in a panic.

"What's wrong, who is she?" Ashley tried to calm her down.

"She's a part of the strongest team in the school known as the Iron League group. They've been in the top seat since their freshman year" both Ashley and I showed fear. "She's been a supporter since day one, so why now is she in contests?" We couldn't think of it for now we have to perform.

"Now your partners will appear on screen as well as your Orbs" on command my orb screen came up and my partner was Mona.

"Look at that Blaze, we're partners" Jason spoke.

"Yay" he sounded sarcastic.

"I'm partners with Liz" Flora was visibly upset.

"I'm partners with Sonia" sadly Ashley didn't get to continue.

"Now, look for your partners, you have an hour to come up with a routine! TIme starts now!" With that said everyone rushed to look for who they were working with. In a swift movement I plucked and took out of the building and to the entrance.

"Sorry to be so sudden with abducting you but we need to practice if we want to advance" my head stopped spinning from the swit movement and I was met with blue eyes.

"Yeah, no problem" I spoke a bit dazed.

"I've seen you around before and you're not that bad, but now isn't the time for small talk we need to practice" she scolded herself.

"Yeah let's get to it" I smacked my cheeks to get out of my dazed state. "Any ideas?"

"I do have one but it involves you controlling all eighteen elements like you did during the opening ceremony" she spoke bashfully. " I just don't want to overwork you because controlling that much power must drain you" I Laughed.

"Don't worry, I can handle it. Plus they don't do the second stage until tomorrow, so let's go all out" I spoke in a cheer.

"That's awesome I think that's the best we could do for a short period of time," I spoke.

"Yeah, I agree let's get back" she tossed me on her back and started sliding around like she's on ice. It felt nice the chill air on my scales as she slid quickly into the stadium.

"Everyone welcome back as we are going to start the performance appeal" Marrion spoke.

Action: A bit on the short end I know and my thoughts were over the place with this chapter, I'm sorry.

Ashley: You're doing your best.

Aroura: Yeah, I agree.

Action: Thanks, you two.

Gladion: We'll take it from here.

Ashley: Next time we start the grand festival but it's different from the average one.

Aroura: Seems like next time Tyler will take a low blow too.

Gladion: Sounds like betrayal to me.
