I'm sitting at my desk messing with my moldable lava just dead staring. At what what? I'm not too sure.
"Orb '' my ORB screen then comes up. "Wednesday June thirtieth. I guess the fourth of July will be on the last day of the second round" I was about to turn off the screen when I saw an ad for Digi Chip or DC for short and it seems Blaze is the one leading this project. It is supposed to be more efficient then the ORB as well as user friendly and moldable for everyday use like a hoverboard to jewelry instead of being stuck in one every day appliance. I mean that's better but to completely ask for a recall on ORB's before the next semester starts is a bit much. Though he did this quickly, I guess he has a lot of time right now.
"You may be able to give a great performance but can you amp up your performance with a fight?" I grunted at the sound of Flora's voice playing in my head yesterday.
"YOU'RE JEALOUS" Zygarde's voice rang in my head as well.
"I MAY BE JEALOUS BUT WHAT DO I DO?!" I jumped out my chair and started yelling at no one.
'Yelling will get you nowhere, you need to deal with your demons first' I jumped at shock, that Zygarde was speaking to me.
"What demon?" I asked, but no response. If I need to face my demons, let's face my first one. I pull up my ORB screen and send an invite to Flora and all our points will be on the line. I got special permission to turn it into a contest match. I got quick acceptance and noticed that it will be held in the contest hall in an hour. I need to get going, so I decided to go to Tailside's lab and found Tyler there running tests on Snap. It seems that he gets worse at controlling his power each day so with the discovery of Tyler's new eyes he was placed to watch over Snap now. As I was approaching I could see a shadow like aura around Snap.
"How is he?" I was concerned. I could see Tyler was surprised to see I cared.
"He is critical and it seems he has a new development for death unto others' ' Tyler brought up his vitals on the screen we had and right now they are on yellow but he's in a comatose state. " He seems to be growing in muscle. Besides that how are you?" He asked, looking through me like he saw all of my emotions. I was about to retaliate by jabbing at him.
"I was checking what's going on in here before I go to a match later" I go to the computer and check Snap's previous vitals. It keeps growing.
"If you're looking for Milo he's out right now, something about a surprise" Tyler sharpened his gaze on Snap.
"How long have you been in here?" I asked while checking the computer. It would seem Snap has been here for three hours.
"I had a match against him and won, afterwards I took him here. I found it easier to examine him if I fought him. A few hours ago" he shrugged. Studying him further I could see he was exhausted. His eyes were red, he was slouching and he was dragging his feet. If he believes he can handle it I won't stop him. After working with him for so long with Tailside I believe his judgment just a bit more.
"I'll be heading out then. Oh, and prepare a bed, Flora will need it after our match" I decided to walk out. When I got outside I was met with the professor and he was in street clothes. "This is a rare sight, what is the occasion?" he only sent a smirk my way followed by his childish laugh. I have to say he pulls off the look well and since he's shiny it looks better. It a black shirt with the Nasa symbol in the center with a light gray light hoodie. With gray sweats with belt loops at the side and one long zipper on the center of each pant leg.
"You'll see why soon" he winked at me and walked past me to enter his lab. "Oh, find me after your match" The doors closed behind him. I need to make my way to the contest hall. I then got a message and it was from Dean Dark. It was also sent to Axel, Arthur, Blaze, James, Snap, Tyler, and Volcan. It was titled 'Important meeting' . We are all required to meet in his office the day after the festival finishes. It says he'll answer any questions we have on any weird or new developments we've seen.
"What does that mean?"
'Seems that my friend is at it again' I heard a sigh from Zygarde.
~Flora's~

"I didn't expect to find you here when you have a match in ten minutes" I looked up from the bed of flowers I was lying in. Rude for Volcan to go and disturb my slumber. I worked really hard looking for a nice bountiful area to sleep in too.
"I know I have a match soon, but can I just lie here in the sun" I groan as I lay my head in the flowers.
"Alright then, I only came here to tell you to apologize to Jason when the match is over. Our friend group has had so many holes in it since the summer started and we don't need others falling in them" I roll my eyes thinking it's too late for that.
"Damage is done and you know that. With this match I'll prove who is the better contest star" I got up from my resting space and looked down the hill to see the contest hall. Now if you don't mind I have to teach a dragon a lesson" I looked Volcan in his eyes and only showed concern. I know he's looking out for the others, but look out for yourself and fix your own problems first. I walked down the hill and made my way through the entrance. Running down to the waiting room I saw Jason there waiting for me.
"It would seem the little princess didn't run away," Jason teased.
" You took the words out of my mouth" I retorted. I could see in Jason's eyes he was determined not to lose. "Remember all of our points are on the line and don't go crying to the professor when you lose. You brought this upon yourself" all he did was grit his teeth.
"Jason, Flora we need you on standby the battle will begin shortly" One of the stage hands told us. We then followed them down our respective hallways.
"Welcome all of you and those watching from home, we have a special second round match for you. It's a contest match and it's for all their points! If you don't know me I am your announcer Vivian and we have our three panel of judges on short notice. Our special guest Xavier Loft the fire gym leader from the Elemental region, We have Yowai Two joining us as well, Last but not least our wonderful Dean: Dean Dark. Welcome!" They brought out important pokemon for this except Blaze out there.
"I've only judged contest matches a few times so I'm not the best, but this is fun" Xavier spoke out.
"I'm surprised I got the invitation, being a previous contest competitor I'll do my best to be fair" Blaze gave his line.
"I have important things to do but if it's for the students I'll give them my time" Dean Dark spoke with a grim tone.
"Now to bring out competitors, the Lava prince Jason and the Floral Princess Flora" With our names being called we raced out on the battlefield. "Without further ado let's get this battle on the road 3. . . 2. . . 1 GO!"

Taking center stage like I should I let the storm of petals flow all around the battlefield making it look like I was the eye of the storm as well as sending Jason back.
"Ms.Blossom off to a great start already knocking Jason's points!" Vivian commentated. I knew he wouldn't be taking this sitting down and countered with an earth power obstructing the petals and making the petal blizzard storm out of control and ablaze.
"I've been waiting for this to put you in your place" I could hear him speak with rage. Then the petal exploded into red sparkles.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
"It would seem Jason is now taking control!" Vivian butted in. He continued what he was up to but instead of controlling lava he was moving the earth and it wasn't like an earthquake because you can't make the movement this fluent. With me being in awe I was trapped in an earth-like cage. "Not only is Ms.Blossom trapped but the cage is stylish as well" Vivian put in her well placed comment. I need to escape quickly. I decided to charge a Moonblast but not shoot it instead I consumed it, consuming raw pokemon moves can boost power but only for a short period of time. In doing so a bright light flashed destroying my prison and I could hear an audible grunt from Jason.
"You're not the only one with a few tricks up their sleeve" I smirk his way.
'Synergy Burst Ready' my ORB let me know.
"Time for this match to come to an end. Release!" In an instant I changed to my most powerful form. I felt a shrub grow around my neck and my body's color scheme changed to match that of a gecko.

With me all powered up I let petals cover the whole battlefield and as I moved it looked as if I was walking on air. A new technique I call the waltz of the petals.
"Stop moving, I can't figure out which one of you is real!" Jason shouted in frustration. The sound of me waltzing on the petals mixed with the movement and the wind messes with the brain and creates the illusion.
"It would seem Jason's points are dropping fast" I like the sound of that. Now I'll prove to you you'll never reach the level of a top coordinator.
"Time for us to end this" I finish by jumping up the petals and start slicing at Jason while I charge my finishing move. Charging a Solar Beam with a Moonblast. "Prism Galaxy Blast" I rain the beam straight down on him.
"It looks like it's all over for the Lava prince" Vivian spoke while covering her eyes.
"I will not let it end here" Jason said quietly. When I landed I saw he was able to guard himself with the rock from the stadium but it turned to glass due to how hot my last attack was. I then noticed he had a new look. It was similar to the last a bit but at the end of his wings he had three small diamond like wings at the end. "Take this full counter!" I didn't know what he was talking about until the ground shook beneath us and earth like vines started whipping me until I couldn't get up.

"Match is over and the declared winner is Jason Gon." Vivian cheered and so did the crowd. "With that said Jason takes all of Flora's points and she is eliminated from the second round" I realized I can no longer compete. I then felt a light shaking of the ground, meaning someone was walking in my direction.
"Can we put this behind us. We're both great performers'' Jason was looking down at me and smiling. It reminded me of the joy Tyler would share when I first met him. Jason offered his hand and I took it.
"Thanks and yes, let's just keep this a rivalry and not get at each other" I returned his smile. I then noticed on the giant screen it showed me being eliminated from the competition and Jason rising to fourth place, putting him right behind Ghana. "Next time I won't lose and if you don't make it to the final stage you'll have to answer to me" we both giggled at me trying to be serious.
"With that, this concludes today's match" Vivian cheered as we made our way out.
~Tyler's~

I need to get more points. I've been going at it all day. I defeated four other students today, taking all of their points and it brought me to eighteenth place. It's frustrating we're reaching the end of day four and I need to be in the top sixteen. There are only twenty eight students left and it's Thursday. This stage ends on Sunday. I'm far behind, Volcan, James, Axel, Arthur, and Jason already have their spots. Not to say they can't lose them. I also see Dusty, Pemma and Polo have spots as well. The sun has just set and I have time for one more match.
"Little bro are you okay?" I was snapped out of my thoughts by Xavier's voice.
"I'm fine" I then realized. "Hey accept my challenge, winner takes half the loser's points" I quickly pulled up my ORB.
"Woah, calm down. I'm not here to fight" he got rid of my ORB screen and rested his hands on my shoulders. It's been a minute since I got to slow down and take everything in. " I can already tell the rumors are true" I was confused and tilted my head. "Competitor Tyler Loft worked himself to the bone with no rest and no consideration" he spoke with a matter of fact and I shrugged into the bench knowing the truth.
"I'm sorry but I can't stop now, I promised Lucifer I would get stronger and to prove that I must win this tournament" I spoke with haste. Xavier then trapped me in a hug, I was shocked. It's been a while since I was embraced and I missed my brother as well.
"Lucy would also like for you to take care of yourself, what would he do if his father looked like death" he gave me a little peck on the cheek and I giggled.
"You're right, but -" I was cut off by the sound of clicks but it was far away.
"Something wrong?" I forget he doesn't have hearing like I do.
"Someone's approaching and I think I may know them with how casually they are strolling by" I sent a glare in the direction of the clicks and there was a light flame that kept getting closer.
Until we could see them under the lamp "How perceptive of you, but you made me sound a villain" I met eyes with a very strong tomboy.
"Polo, what is it that you want?" I looked up at her.
"I want a rematch for the Chroma League, a match with all our points on the line" she sent me an invite and I'm seeing the points she has for the first time. She was able to accumulate enough to be fifth. If I win I could have a spot for the final stage. I went to get up but fell to my knees.
"Tyler you need to rest up and see the professor, I'll take your place" I looked at Xavier in shock.
"Who are you?" I looked at Polo surprised, not knowing who our special guest was.
"I'm Tyler's older brother, but not only that. I am a special guest invited by Dean Dark to participate in this competition" He spoke with confidence.
"What makes you so special?" Polo scoffed.
"I graduated early from Unova and became a new gym leader for the Elemental region" That's when he caught Polo's attention.
"I guess they let any one become gym leaders, but I guess you will suffice" She then challenged Xavier to a match.
"I'll even give you a handicap, I can only use four different moves, but all our points are still on the line" Polo nodded to the terms. Looking at his screen it says Xavier only competed in two matches and has stayed twenty second this whole time. We then walked over to the Tellur town field which was illuminated because Polo and Xavier will be having a match.
"Don't underestimate her, she is strong!" I shouted.
"Don't worry Tyler, I've become stronger than you" he sent a wink my way. What an ass. I made sure to take a seat so I don't irritate my body further. The blue center screen then appeared with a timer.
"3 . . . 2 . . . 1. Battle Begin!"
~Xavier's~
(Maze of Life - Persona Q)

Polo went on the offensive charging in at me and I evaded quickly and in doing so I blasted a Dark pulse right in her back and then shot one right up in the sky. It dispersed like fireworks and when they hit the ground they sunk in with a tiny ripple.
"What trick was that?" Polo asked with a confident smile.
"Something that'll show you to never mess with a hellhound" I spoke with a snarl. I know my dark type moves or fire type moves aren't as effective, but I still have the advantage. Resuming the fight Polo instantly charged at me enveloped in giant flames, landing a hit. She then grabbed me with her tail and threw me up in the sky.
"You can't dodge this' ' she then held up her arms in my direction and shot a ball of blue, my way. I guess I have to show off my first trick. I fire a quick Fire Blast at it to make a smokescreen. When it cleared, Polo voiced her confusion. "Where did he go?!" I let out a chuckle you can hear from all ends of the stadium.
"There's a reason I've only competed in two matches if you looked at my record and both opponents don't remember what happened after I disappeared but they had the marks to prove they lost" As I was talking I could see Polo in disarray I took advantage and shot a Fire Blast at her. She took it head on. " I was really hoping I could enjoy and savor this match, but you forced my hand early" As I continued talking I raised my stats with Nasty Plot.
"Show yourself, you coward!" her voice cracked a bit but I did as she asked and appeared right across from her but it was as if magic. "What?!" I then smirked.
"You lose!" I spoke in a grim tone as I used a grand move. "Inferno" Flames rose from everywhere with ease without disrupting the ground around us. I could see Polo being scorched by my flames, after ten seconds I watched her fall over.
"Winner Xavier Loft!" I heard the automated voice.
"Oh it seems I only used three moves" I smirked at her. I then noticed I jumped all the way to second place. "Thanks for the place at the final stage, I'll be leaving now" I walked over to Tyler who was amazed.
"You beat her and you didn't have to use a synergy burst and what was that power you used?" He was so ecstatic and I chuckled at his new found energy.
"I'll tell you after I beat you" he was not happy but I can't spill everything.
~Jason's~
(Memories of you - Persona 3)
I was sent a message by the pressor to meet him at his lab. I was going to after my match with Flora yesterday, but he ushered me out as I came in. "Milo, I'm here!" I shouted as I entered his lab, mind you the lights are off. They then turn on and reveal just him in the lab clapping for me. I then noticed the Lab is rearranged for more of a chill vibe, with there being a couch and a TV. Some snacks and food on one of our many counters. "What is all this?" I was surprised.
" I wanted to celebrate you overcoming a major hurdle, being your rivalry towards Flora" he spoke sheepishly. I then took in what he was wearing; some gray sweatpants that said 'nerd' on the side with a gray zip up light jacket and black t-shirt with a shiny Joelton on it. "I thought you and I could relax and spend time together, unless I did all this for nothing" his ears started to drop.
"No I'd love to! I just didn't expect it" I responded in a frenzy and I could feel a blush creep up on my face.
' You like him' I then heard the damn mutt in my head. 'It's fine since you like him' I heard a teasing tone from him. I couldn't care enough to respond. I made my way to the professor and hugged him as my way of thanks.
"Let's not stand around or the food will get cold" he responded, but I could hear his heartbeat racing. I let go and grabbed some food, while laying down on the couch. Not too long after Milo joined me.
"What should we watch first?"
Action: What a cute way to end the chapter.
Volcan: You say that, like it hasn't been two months since you last updated the series.
Action: Cut me some slack. It partially wasn't my fault my laptop broke.
Volcan: *sigh* Fine.
