The night air on the open ocean was thick with hazy mist, which stuck to the hulls of the mighty magical metal ships, making their way slowly towards a wall made of storms so large they encapsulated entire continents. The massive warships were nothing but specks on the water before the unnaturally quiet swirling lethal winds contained within their own barrier. Bright light from all the full moons lit the ocean in an eerily ethereal rainbow glow.
A horn blast from the largest vessel signals a total halt of the fleet. All the ships begin to glow with a bright, magical aura as they all halt their momentum with magic. High above, a floating magical airship is tethered with magical wiring to the rear observation vessel in the fleet. On the base of the airship, a large Seer Orb begins to blink with magical lights before activating.
“We are live, captains!” An observer shouts from their station as signals flash across a magical holographic screen. Their shout rouses the attention of the uniformed officers, who move towards the viewer platform.
“The moons are almost in position.” One of the captains moves to sit in the command chair on the airship's bridge. “Helmsman, take us in! Let the people get a good look at the grand Trinity Fleet!” He orders, and the airship's crew rushes to follow.
“Aye, captain! Taking the scenic route!” The helmsman at the bow of the airship replies while their arms fly about, flipping and tugging on many switches and knobs. “Brace for dive! Brace for dive! Diving!” The helmsman calls out while ringing a warning bell. The crew straps their buckles tight while the captains on the viewing platform hook their harnesses onto the safety rings, and a magical glow surrounds their bodies.
“Dive!” The captain shouts from his chair; the helmsman follows the orders and leans forward to push the heavy wooden wheel to tilt downwards. As the wheel shifts, the airship starts to lean with it, and its altitude suddenly and sharply falls. The dive begins gradually before the ship is nearly nose-diving straight for the rolling waters of the ocean.
“Pull up!” The captain commands while gripping the armrests of his chair. A bit ago, the crew's magical boots were activated to keep them all attached to the floor. Even with the stabilizing boots, the steep dive was hard on the whole crew. Only those in the more advanced protection barrier in the viewing station seemed to be enjoying the ride.
“AARGH!!” Muscles bulged as the helmsman struggled with all his might to yank back on the heavy wheel, making the airship take a plunge. A magical glow aura sprang from the man’s body as he yelled out loud. “Pulling up!” He shouted once more as he forced the wheel to tilt back towards himself, righting the airship in time. “She’s stable, captain.” The helmsman reported to his captain while out of breath.
“Good, bring her around the fleet for a full tour. Have the tether pull us back before midnight strikes.” The captain unclicks the locks on his chair before standing up. “This old girl can’t face the wrath of the StormWall.” He says as he joins the other captains excitedly chatting amongst themselves.

“I nearly shit myself!” Someone yells out as they fall off a chair, their armor and weapons clanking loudly on the metallic flooring. “Damn, what a maneuver.” They whistle while picking themselves off the floor before returning to their seat.

“Buckle up, and you won’t be falling over.” A robed man spoke up while hunched over a floating glowing obelisk. The mage’s hands were covered in a hazy light film as his fingertips glowed with bright points of different colored lights. They were waving and weaving shapes and patterns around the waist-high-sized magical carved stone.
“Bet you would have shat yourself if you saw this, Bucky!” The armored man tried to taunt the mage, but his focus was too great. “Bah. Hey Tim! Ya think we can try something like that out there?!” He yelled out to be overheard from the mechanical sounds of the engines starting.
“What are you blabbering about now, Tanner?” Tim ducked his way through a small hatch into the more spacious compartment of the airship. “If you aren’t busy preparing for the Run, don’t bother those that are.” He says while walking past Bucky as he works on the magical device.
“Fine, I’ll go ask the others. I bet they saw it.” Tanner flares his nostrils while struggling to undo his belt. It got caught in his armor somehow. You can’t be serious…” He whines while struggling to untangle himself from his seat with his clunky armored fingers. “Wait, Tim, don’t leave me here!” Tanner complains as Tim walks further into the airship.
“How’s the loading going, Percy?” Tim asks a group of people, stacking some crates together before latching them with special magical chains. An older adult with primarily white hair leaves the loading crew to finish their work as he walks over to Tim.
“Almost complete, how’s the Raptor looking? I can hear the magical engines purring from here, even over Tanner’s bullshit.” Percy whipped the sweat off his wrinkled forehead as the two continued to walk throughout the ship.
“Everything seems good to go.” Tim says with a worried frown, punching a few glowing buttons on the wall before moving on.
“So why the face?” Percy asks as they exit the airship into a large hangar full of bustling people rushing about, working on many different types of airships.
“We have always had some kind of problem before a flight run, but now there’s nothing?” Tim hands over some papers to a nearby crew member as more containers are rushed onto his airship. “When something seems too good to be true-” He begins to say while starting to climb a spiraling staircase.
“It usually is.” Percy finished for him as they climbed up to the top of the hanger. “You think something is going to happen to the Raptor?” Percy asks Tim as he disappears through a hatch in the ceiling.
“If not, it will happen there.” Tim says while standing on the deck of a massive airship carrier; Percy joins him after closing the hatch. Their entire view was taken up by dark clouds filled with flashing lightning bolts clawing at the StormWall to let it out. The high winds of the trapped storms raged on as the grays and blacks swirled like an angry sea of storm clouds. Dark shapes could be seen fluttering about within the magical lightning storms; from this distance, even the fleet’s primary carrier would be dwarfed by those mysterious objects.
“Why are we doing this again?” Percy asks while being unable to take his eyes off the StormWall.
“We were dumb enough to volunteer.” Tim answers as the colors from the moonlight slowly fuse into a ghastly white light. “Midnight, show time.” As if to answer him, the barrier of the StormWall cracks. The rushing winds holler as they rush on past the waiting fleet. As they die, the gurgling graons of the deep sea creatures break past the Stormwall.
“”BATTLESTATIONS!!”” The warships sound the battle alarm as the Trinity Fleet breaks into action against the charging sea creatures pouring out of the StormWall.
