"Sir…ARE YOU INSANE!?!?" Takashi shouted.
"How in the fuck are we going to hunt down that thing!? It's fucking enormous, every time it walks building collapses, so how the hell can we even kill it!?" He cried out once more.
"Calm down, you're making my ears ring, dammit. I get your reaction, but like I said, we will be hunting it this week, not today. Figure out its weaknesses, and slowly accumulate damage and it'll die soon.
"But if it doesn't have a single weakness, and we can't hurt it, just run. Run until the monster is no longer visible." Park Jeongeun answered.
"But sir, letting the monster run rampant would lead to…potentially South Korea's destruction, wouldn't it?" Kafil questioned.
"So what? Do I look like I care about that? We can just relocate and build a new headquarter in another country, if the world hasn't ended yet that is…Are you really suggesting we actually kill that thing if it doesn't have weaknesses?"
"...Yes." Kafil hesitantly replied.
"Ha…fuck. Look, I know my attitude can be rather eccentric, and that I'm quite a ruthless at times, but even I know my limits. I'm not stupid enough to pick a losing battle. Besides, life is worth more than anything the world has to offer.
"You wouldn't want to die early now, do you? In any case, if you still don't want to relocate if that beast hasn't died in a week then, you're on your own, Kafil."
"F-forgive my ignorance, sir."
"It's alright." Jeongeun replied before calling out to the little girl. "Oi!"
"...W-was? (...W-what?)" She asked. Her voice trembled as turned her body to face him. The appearance of the great beast provoked a fear she never knew she had.
"Keine Sorge, ich habe nicht die Absicht, dich zu verletzen…zumindest nicht im Moment. (Don't worry, I have no intention of hurting you...at least not at the moment.)
"Stattdessen habe ich einen Vorschlag. Warum bilden wir nicht eine vorübergehende Allianz? (Instead, I have a suggestion. Why don't we form a temporary alliance?)" He suggested.
"Nach allem, was ihr uns angetan habt, wagt ihr es, ein Bündnis vorzuschlagen!? (After all you have done to us, you dare to propose an alliance!?)" The girl screamed fiercely. Seething rage surging through her veins as she glared at the worst human she has ever met.
"Sie wollen nicht? Dann töte ich einfach deine Kameraden. (You don't want to? Then I'll just kill your comrades.)" He threatened, leisurely waving his gun at them as a warning for the girl.
"Du...Du bist wirklich der größte Abschaum in der Welt des Abschaums. Wenn man bedenkt, dass ihr sogar Drohungen macht… (You...You really are the biggest scum of the scum world. Considering you even make threats…)”
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"Habe ich mich nicht schon bei unserer ersten Begegnung klar ausgedrückt? Ich werde alles tun, um die gewünschten Ergebnisse zu erzielen. (Didn't I make myself clear when we first met? I will do everything I can to achieve the desired results.)"
The little girl gritted her teeth as she was forced to accept the momentary pact between her group and Jeongeun's.
"Das ist gut. Nun, ich muss gehen und mir ein paar Dinge ansehen. Und wenn du vorhast, etwas hinter meinem Rücken zu planen...dann wirst du die Konsequenzen deiner Dummheit tragen müssen. (That's good. Well, I have to go and see a few things. And if you intend to plan something behind my back...then you'll have to face the consequences of your stupidity.)"
He then gestured at his subordinates to follow him as they carefully and silently exited their once usable shelter in case the beast was attracted to high frequency sounds.
Once far enough—Park Jeongeun requested them to stop their journey as he looked at them with a serious gaze.
"Tell me your abilities." He commanded
"...Huh?" Takashi murmured.
"It is as I've said. I'm going to need to know your abilities in as much detail as possible. Depending on the situation, I can make use of it to its fullest potential."
"And why are you so sure you can do that?"
"No reason. Now tell me, won't you?"
"...You're suspicious but fine. Mine is called 'Corrosive Webs'." Takashi revealed.
"Mine is called 'Fortress'." Kafil continued.
"And mine is 'Mimicry'." Sungah added.
"And how does each one of them work?" Park Jeongeun inquired.
All of them went silent. Although they had discovered their exclusive abilities—none of them had even the slightest thought on how to utilise them—much less how each ability functioned.
"...What if…just like how we are supposed to say 'Status' with the intent of checking our current state…Why not apply the same logic but instead of checking our 'Status', we are checking the ability we have?" Sungah proposed.
"Good idea. Well, as Sungah has stated, check your abilities."
"Check." They all said simultaneously.

As each of them inform Park Jeongeun about their respective abilities and the summaries on the effects of those abilities—a question unexpectedly comes to light within Takashi's head.
"What's your ability, sir?" He queried.
"My ability, eh? Just some stupid super strength. Anyways, let's now return and see…whether they will try to kill us on sight or not." He spoke with a menacing smile—almost as if exhilarated at the thought of killing them were they to try betraying him.
…
Meanwhile, the little girl's friends were doubting whether they should follow the treaty rules or not.
Uncertain with their choice—the mage, knight and assassin doubted whether they could afford to sit idly now that they had regained their armour. Perhaps it would be best if they killed him later at midnight…
"Nein! (No!)" The little girl scolded her friends as she grasped their next course of action.
"Er kann euch alle leicht töten! Und so sehr ich diesen miesen Kerl auch hasse...seine Kräfte sind unbestreitbar. (He can easily kill you all! And as much as I hate that rotten guy...his powers are undeniable.)" Her words were drenched with undiluted emotions as tears trickled down her cheeks. She too was thoroughly frustrated at how helpless she is against that scum yet even she knew she stood not a single chance if she faced him head on.
"...La sers. (...I'm sorry.)" The group murmured in a union. They may be unable to understand Park Jeongeun's words, but they understood everything that came out of his mouth were nothing short of malevolent. Yet a mere little girl is doing everything in her power to prevent their demise. It was a truly selfless act and they were determined to repay her afterwards.
…
As they arrived back at their shelter—they were greeted by a rather peculiar scene. The little girl was asleep while leaning on the knight, while he, along with the rest of his crew—were drowning themselves underneath one of humanity's greatest inventions yet: Instant noodles.
While Park Jeongeun was irritated that they were not ambushed nor did their allies have the intentions of abandoning the shelter, he could at least trust that they would not try striking him or his subordinates in the back anytime soon.
"Enjoying dinner, eh?" He said—catching their attention.
"Wake that girl up. Let's formulate a plan to hunt that bastard down."
