"Slave thirteen, it's now your turn to meet the master." A maid announced within a room consisting of multiple peculiar looking people.
A few were bulky, some were handsome, and others were beautiful. However, the slave she referred to stood out from the rest by a large margin. With his stunning pink hair, a pair of crimson eyes, a pale complexion, and a lean yet athletic build—he confidently stepped out of the crowd.
It was none other than Park Jeongeun himself. Instead of donning his casual clothes, he was dressed in a pristine white shirt with lace collar, black trousers and a pair of black shoes. His expression was neutral as his eyes met the maid's. A tinge of aloofness and coldness reflecting off of them.
"Please follow me." The maid said, escorting Jeongeun out of the room as the both of them began walking through the lengthy corridors.
Priceless paintings, intricate golden drawings, and portraits of close relatives to the owner of the manor adorned the walls. The closer they were approaching their destination, the more lavish the interior seemed to become until the maid eventually stopped in front of a pair of gigantic ornate doors that were made from quartzs with the finest jewels the world had to offer latched onto it.
"Please wait there until you have been called." The maid informed before disappearing from his sight.
Taking a deep breath, Jeongeun braced himself for the worst as he opened the doors but was instead left befuddled for the things that stood behind the doors were outside of his expectations.
Three unique slaves were presented inside the spacious chamber. The first slave that caught Jeongeun's attention was a massive man that stood at a staggering three meters tall. His figure was as thin as a rake and seemed overly malnourished. It was a miracle how he has not gone to the afterlife yet.
The second person was a woman who possessed ethereal beauty. Her well-proportioned physique, paired with a face that could be mistaken for a goddess's, a fair complexion and hair as white as snow while being cladded in platinum armour with an iron collar around her neck.

The third and perhaps the most baffling individual out of the three was a person that stood at merely 167 centimeters tall, possessing long, silky cobalt blue hair, a pair of lapis blue eyes, a thin womanlike figure and the face of an adorable adolescent girl—was in fact a male. Dressed in rags, it was fairly easy to notice he had a certain something that clearly did not belong on a girl's body.
'...I'm starting to regret not causing a revolt when I had the chance to do so…' Jeongeun grumbled inwardly.
Taking his eyes away from them, he carefully examined the room they were contained within in an attempt to assess his current circumstances. To his shock, he saw invaluable armour sets being displayed while simultaneously being protected by a thin layer of glass—as if boasting the immeasurable amount of wealth the owner had in his vault. Even the armour and the sword he received after killing the beast was being displayed proudly.
Upon being bought a month ago, he was pleasantly surprised when given the chance to learn about their language, culture and his task. The person that bought him was a wealthy merchant known for having the obsession of buying people who possesses unique properties amongst others. For Jeongeun, it would be his dyed pink hair—a colour unbeknownst to many during this era.
Hours passed by uneventfully before the same maid entered the room and ordered the four slaves to follow her. Striding through the lengthy hallways once more, they soon reached their destination—standing in front of a humble yet still extravagant doorway.
Within the room stood their master and a muscular man of an average height with scars covering his arms. He had an unimpressed look etched onto his face by the slaves presented in front of him.
"Is this all?" The man inquired.
"Yes! These are some of the finest slaves I have to offer to you. They're, however, a bit pricey, Especially the one with pink hair." The merchant answered.
"They don't look a tad bit suitable for combat at all. Aside from that giant, the rest are rather disappointing. What's the use of having a flashy appearance in war? It serves as nothing more than a burden."
"Well, yes, but trust me, you definitely do not want to underestimate them. Besides, you have already viewed the other slaves. These four just so happen to be the most unique amongst others. That pink hair of his…although as far as I'm aware that he has done nothing otherworldly, perhaps he might just be a witch's disciple in the past."
"A witch's disciple you say? Hm…alright. Aside from the armoured girl, I'll take the three of them. You better not be lying about their potential otherwise you will find this sword stucked in your throat." He warned, flashing the sheathed blade around his waist.
"Of course not. I'll assure you that you will not regret anything. I'll have them tied up and ready for you. Now, shall we browse the armour section next?" The merchant gestured towards the man as they both left.
Soon, a few guards entered the room as they tied up Jeongeun and the other two slaves—dragging them to a group of armed men riding horses.
"These are the rest of the slaves he has bought." One of the guards informed the leader of the group.
"What a peculiar batch this time. Even a woman was bought too. Well, put them in with the rest of the slaves in the cage."
Nodding their heads, the guards soon left with the slaves—leaving the leader alone with his men.
"Ha…I hope they can contribute to the war soon. Just what is the lord thinking…"
