After careful consideration, I must think about where to allocate this skill point.
Firstly, let's analyze my current situation. Based on my needs, I should choose wisely because it will affect the speed of my next level up and the amount of experience required for it. Damn! It requires 8000 experience points to reach the next level. No wonder La'er took almost three years to reach Level 12.
The first thing I need to consider is self-protection. In this case, transforming into a werewolf would be most suitable. Leaving aside game knowledge, what are the advantages of being a werewolf? Speed, agility and possibly some bonuses in health and attack power. At Level 8 transformation into a werewolf has great advantages both in attacking and escaping from danger which could significantly increase safety if I learn this skill.
Secondly, killing monsters quickly is important as it means more experience points leading to faster leveling up which allows me to learn more skills resulting in even faster speeds - basic logic that anyone can understand.
Speaking of killing monsters quickly; Firestorm and Summon Crow are good choices. The crow can attract enemies increasing one's own safety while at Level 8 summoning five crows at once with high attack frequency makes them equivalent to an ordinary attack by someone who has just changed jobs using an eighth-level whiteboard weapon but there is a limit on how many times they can attack so caution is advised.
Firestorm is even more powerful with its high damage output over time making it possible for an eighth-level firestorm spellcaster able to kill any small monster instantly.
All these skills seem very suitable for me causing hesitation as each one seems perfect until finally choosing Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine (a seemingly mediocre choice). Although its attacks are not as strong as Firestorm nor does it have the quantity advantage like Summon Crow or provide much security but still remains the best choice due its low mana cost.
Don't think that in the dark world of Diablo, one can cast spells infinitely just by drinking blue potions. Leaving aside the preciousness of blue potions, their speed increase is also limited.
At my current level 2 with only 22 mana points and no bonuses, resting for about ten minutes will add one point while drinking a light blue potion adds ten points but such slow increases mean that spellcasting is severely restricted.
Although there are many differences between the game and real life in Diablo's world, I have no mentor to guide me so I can only use game knowledge to evaluate each skill's pros and cons before making a final decision.
The werewolf transformation is good, but it lasts too short, only a few tens of seconds, and consumes too much mana. It's ruled out.
Firestorm has too high consumption. With my mana level, whether I can support two level 8 Firestorms is still a problem. It's ruled out.
Summoning crows is not bad, but there are restrictions and the consumption is also too high. It's ruled out.
As for polymorphing, if anyone tells me to learn this first, I'll beat him up mercilessly.
Therefore, in the end I chose the Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine. Its higher life makes it less likely to die easily and greatly reduces my mana consumption. Moreover, its attack seems to be very powerful with invincible poisonous attacks that small monsters in the early stages can hardly resist.
So in the end I chose Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine:
Skill Level: 8; Life: 137
There are only level and life descriptions in the skill section so it seems like one needs to explore on their own about damage output. An 8th-level flower vine should have an attack power higher than that of a barbarian at level ten or above.
However just by looking at its life value alone made me realize how lucky I am as mine was only 60 at level two which is almost half of what this vine has!
Looking at my five attribute points available for allocation without hesitation added them all into stamina instead.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
In Diablo world different professions have different ways of allocating attributes such as Barbarians and Paladins having bonuses on strength and physique while Mages have bonuses on mana etc., Amazons having bonuses on agility and strength while Assassins having significant bonus points allocated towards agility etc., Druids however are relatively balanced across all aspects without any obvious advantages or disadvantages compared to other professions.
For example Druids gain three health points per point of stamina allocated while Barbarians, Paladins and Amazons gain two to three points respectively. Mages and Assassins only have a meager one point bonus on mana while Barbarians only have a pitiful one point bonus.
This is the talent for attribute bonuses in Diablo world so you can never expect to play something unconventional like being a mana-based barbarian or bloodthirsty mage to show off your uniqueness.
Although some skills of Druids are relatively weak, their attribute bonuses are much better than other professions with more balanced allocation which makes them overall stronger.
Suppressing my excitement I slowly began summoning the Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine.
As early as when I was chatting with Ral, I knew that casting skills were not like in games where they could be cast instantly but required certain release time. After releasing it there would also be different cooldown times for different skills.
Therefore, when I found out that energy was slowly gathering and brewing during the process of casting Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine, I wasn't surprised at all because this is just the time needed for skill release.
After about 10 seconds, I felt the gathered power suddenly solidify and then burst open like a hatched chick. The energy inside instantly drilled into the ground and disappeared.
I widened my eyes and stared carefully at the ground.
Suddenly, a small bump appeared on the ground, followed by a slippery body covered in mucus that looked like an elongated earthworm.
Ugh...
I almost threw up. This was not some kind of vine; it was clearly an enlarged version of an earthworm or leech. It was already disgusting enough in the game, but seeing it in reality made me shudder even more.
I regretted choosing this skill a little bit. Oh well, at least it could save my life. If it's gross, then so be it. Besides, I had already learned how to cancel this non-skill skill when summoning it - just get rid of it when you don't need it anymore - especially during crucial moments with girls... if this thing popped out on the ground...
It would definitely be a love killer!
Suppressing my nausea, I began looking for a suitable test subject while this vine slowly followed behind me. When drilling through the ground, its "gugu" sound made me sickened beyond words.
Although Poisonous Flower Vine was drilling underground, its hole-digging technique had obviously reached master level. Even if I ran away as fast as possible, I couldn't shake off its slow-moving appearance that seemed to mock my inability to escape from such leisurely pursuit! It really made me angry! However amidst all that anger there was also happiness because speed is good! Even fools know what that represents.
After wandering around for about half an hour, I finally found a Sunken Demon camp. There were five Sunken Demons and one Sunken Demon Mage inside, dancing with exotic moves. Especially the Sunken Demon Mage, who was jumping up and down without losing to the elite-level mage that I encountered last time with Ral.
"Attack."
I hid in my camp not far away and was about to test the power of Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine.
"Attack."
I shouted at Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine again.
Could it be that we couldn't communicate? Who knows what language Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine speaks?
Now I realized that I couldn't control this vine at all. My eyes went blank...
Oh my god, can someone please give me a master so that I can exchange for that super artifact?
With this result, I retreated dejectedly and dared not have any more ideas about attacking this Sunken Demon camp.
But I didn't give up. Instead, I found a corpse nest and rushed over by myself.
Sure enough, Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine followed me as well. When there was still about 10 meters away from the nearest corpse, Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine launched an attack.
Suddenly emerging from the ground, its head opened like a blooming flower with rows of sharp teeth exposed on top of its bowl-sized head. It reminded me of those mercenaries falling into the canyon in "King Kong 2". When they were attacked by man-eating leeches hiding in shallow mud in the canyon opening their mouths like this.
The sluggish corpse hadn't reacted yet when it was bitten by Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine. Its whole body immediately turned oily green while its life plummeted rapidly. By the time it reacted, Fierce Poisonous Flower Vine had already burrowed underground.
Beautiful! I snapped my fingers. Although I expected the level 8 Poisonous Flower Vine to be powerful, seeing it in action still excited me.
When the zombie had only a bit of flesh left, the Poisonous Flower Vine emerged and took a bite. Instantly, the zombie fell down and couldn't withstand the intense virus invasion. Its body began to rot and even its bones started melting.
Ugh! Seeing this kind of death made me vomit out all the jerky I ate earlier. This scene was not so much terrifying as it was disgusting.
However, when I saw that it took less than four seconds for the Poisonous Flower Vine to take down one zombie, I was ecstatic - skills are indeed a transfer player's sharpest weapon!
Soon after, the Poisonous Flower Vine successively killed three more zombies but lost eight health points when another zombie accidentally hit it while attacking. It almost made me shout "Long live flower vines!" Unfortunately, these four zombies didn't drop anything at all - how stingy! They died but still held onto their equipment and gold...
