It was the day of the wedding and Rune had come back from the Demon King Candidate mission. He had turned into a Human several days before and Sophia wanted to have an actual wedding to commemorate their wedding adn the fact that she could now actually kiss Rune.
Rune held Sophia in his arms as the carriage made its way to the church. In the world of Arborea, one would not know when or how they would die and many did so abruptly and well before their total lifespan.
There would usually be no ceremony nor a party, but just the two of them and a priest. The priest would marry them to each other like how any other would on Earth, but the church revered and worshipped the gods who were good and stood on the side of life. However, Rune decided to invite Lisbeth, Rena, Roxana, and Hecate as she would be around for a few more days.
The churches were actually set up so that there were statues of every god that they deemed good in the church and they were all of equal sizes. They each depicted a humanoid being with his or her flag with their symbol on it.
Rune was wearing a tuxedo that was white in color and he had an uncomfortable bowtie on just below his neck. Everything on his person was white except for the light blue flower with red tips on his chest. It was on the left side of his chest and there was a pocket right above it.
In the pocket, he had crafted a box and the two rings inside of it. The box was made of obsidian and had a nice, sleek look. It reflected images like a mirror and was square save for the rounded corners. The inside of the box had a velvet layer and cushion in which the two rings stood.
The rings were enchanted with an effect to stop the aging affect and to allow the user and wearer to look any age they wanted to be. It was bascially a ring of immortality, but it didn't stop anyone from dying from anything other than old age.
The bases of the rings was a metal known as Orichalcum which withstood magical and physical attacks. They were shaped like a regular, flat ring except for the design on top of it. The design was that of the Spear of Odin which looked like several zig zag patterns.

On top of the rings stood a gem that had a light blue color and was slightly see through. They had no grand effect except minor auto repair. However, if sold, it would be several hundred gold coins, but the two of them would never sell something so important to each other and themselves.
Sophia was wearing a white wedding dress with frills at the ends of her clothes. The dress covered her entire chest and there was a detached collar on her neck. On her arms, seh wore a long pair of gloves that went up further than her elbows.
Her hair that usually only went down a little past her shoulders were tied up in a bun that was placed above the back of her neck. It was tied with a hair band to keep it from coming apart. Her pale blue hair looked clean and healthy with the soap she had recently purchased a couple days before.
The church was near the palace and was quite big. It was painted white on the outside and had steps leading up to a porch. There was about half a staircase length to walk up.
It was slightly hard for Sophia to walk up the stairs in her gown and Rune placed the hovering platform on the ground. She timidly stepped on the hexagonal sheet of forged magic stones as if it was unstable. Rune got on beside her and the platform started to move slowly up to the porch.
They door opened in front of them as the couple stepped off the platform. The carpet in front of them was red with golden outlines. There were pews where more than just the four people that Rune invited sat. They were all people that he knew from Aymren village who were there when Sophia secretly told them.
Sophia smiled when Rune saw and he grinned back at her. Sophia hooked her arms through Rune's and they walked through the aisle while some people threw pink flower petals into the air. The smell of the building was sweet and had a minty smell as well.
When they reached the end of the aisle, they stood in front of the priest who was wearing a white robe. He seemed to be nervous as this was the first time he married people with other people watching. He carefully opened up a manual on what to say at weddings since he was too nervous to memorize the lines. He stood behind a stand and started to speak.
The lines were quite short and to the point as not many people felt like standing for too long and he was used to saying just a few words at the weddings he went to. He began when people stopped chattering to each other about how they didn't expect that the wedding would be this fancy.
"We gather here to commemorate the two newly weds, Rune Samuv and Sophia Orn Alkyst. Do you two each swear to be with each other for the rest of your lives? If so, please announce it."
"I do."
The two of them said it at the same time and they both blushed at the same time.
"You may now kiss the bride."
Rune put his hand on Sophia's cheek and kissed her. The crowds in the pews cheered and even more flower petals flew down from the sky. Rune and Sophia both felt as happy as they could be.
