It was a rainy-day cupid sat alone in the car on the drive back not sure of what to feel or even what his heart had encapsuled. Feeling like his whole world had turned upside down and something good had come out of it.Only to feel like it had been thrashed out underneath and right below his feet. Not sure of where to even go at the point he only could just sit there with tears in his eyes he wasn't sure why he felt this way but then he realized. Cupid had fallen in love for once in his life it had felt like someone gave him the actual genuine love, he had been missing like someone wholeheartedly saw his voice saw him a strange yet comforting feeling. He eventually stopped crying, but he realized for once maybe in his whole life he had begun to feel a strange yet obsessive feeling. Maybe for him even finding comfort within that feeling it was interesting.

His grandpa saw his crying in amidst of it and thought of anything he could say to cheer cupid up, but no thoughts came to mind he hadn't even been there for his daughter like he should've he didn't find the words just upon his tongue to say to his grandson. Harboring even some feelings of resentment to himself because of it.Though it didn't matter as cupid had not even thought about him just thinking about the girl whom he had fallen in love with. Eventually though as these feelings swelled up and became a fiery hot ball of passion, he wasn't sure as to tell Clara each time he had seen her in the church although they had slight conversations or waved at each other they never did anything big with each other again.

Until one day "Hey cupid lets go to the zoo my dad got some tickets he's not going to use go with me! I won't take no as an awnser"Said Clara. "Well okay let's go then Clara but I'm scared of lions though they look so big and dangerous, "Said Cupid. "Aha well okay we won't see the lion then "Said Clara as they discussed in more depth the plans of where to meet and what time. After the interaction cupid could only feel some sort of fiery love hidden deep within his chest as he thought about Clara. Eventually though they both arrived at the zoo and got the maps of what each section has each animal. "Hey, let's go to the lions first! "Said Clara. "WHAT I just told you I was scared of them". Said cupid. "Yea that's exactly why you got to get over your fear why did you grow fearful of them anyway". Said Clara. "I saw a book saying that lions eat humans, so I was scared I'll get eaten Clara, "Said cupid. "Almost any animal can kill you come on!!"said Clara. They arrived and cupid saw the lions Clara holding his hand and the lion saw them through the glass yet was just laying down looking at them. "See there's nothing to be scared of. "Said Clara as she saw his hand was shaking "Hey don't worry I'm here for you eventually calming cupids' nerves. "Thank you, Clara thanks, you "said cupid which was all he could muster to say.

Overcoming his fear of the lions they continued amongst the zoos. "Hey, look Clara it's you the monkeys". Said cupid grinningly. "Aha very funny cupid" said Clara rolling her eyes. Hey even took pictures by the penguins and crocodiles and got ice cream flavors cupid getting chocolate and Clara getting cookie dough. "Hey, let's go ride the train ride Clara. "Said cupid Clara only agreeing they only had one more area after this the dark area with the bats and snakes. Cupid could tell Clara was more scared of the bats and snakes and told don't worry strong cupid is here nothing bad could happen to you "Cupid said this with overwhelming confidence. Eventually though they reached the end of the zoo by the end of it they were just holding hands together. "Well, this is it cupid I enjoyed my time with you I really did but I got to go I hope we can meet together again soon". Said Clara although this sounded like a normal goodbye for some reason this felt more like an ending although cupid wasn't sure why at the time he would soon realize. Cupid couldn't find any strong departing words and just hugged her and she left while he sat down on the bench outside the zoo waiting for his grandpa just completely feeling full of happiness from what just happened.
