It was the day of the flight his father he didn't even see the day when he woke up as cupid vaguely remembers seeing his father drinking looking out the window mumbling words cohesively to himself. "Dad? what are you doing "Like his dad was in a trance he didn't even notice cupid and just kept mumbling words to himself eventually though cupid in his sleepy atmosphere went back to sleep not having a care in the world as it was 2am.Waking up in his pajamas and his mom seemingly rushed for some reason even though it was 8am and the flight wasn't until 12:30 cupid thought to seem like he was rushed too and decided to hurry up and get his clothes and bag together following his mom in her footsteps. As she brushed her teeth did her hair and cupid just stared at her while she did her make up "Hey mom what's that stuff doing to your face" said cupid" You'll realize when you get older go eat some breakfast honey" said cupids' mom, so he went to the dining room to eat. Then they both left for the airport at 10:35 as his mom checked the time on her phone when they got in the car.

Cupid not even having a phone at his young age decided to occupy himself by just staring out the window not having a care in the world as he saw scenery, he even went over a bride something that he had never seen before not knowing it existed while immersed in the world around him. Eventually they would arrive at the airport Cupid just blatantly staring at the existing scenery in the airport seeing the murals on the wall or paintings hanged up. He wasn't sure how to react to them so he would just stare strangers finding him just like a cute kid. Finally, though he went on the flight with his mother just an eleven-year-old with a vivid imagination and a toy car in his hand on the flight to go to New York. For the first time in Cupid's life, he saw the world from above from above where our eyes can simply take us to the next step to the world in the clouds, he wanted to feel that way more he thought of it as awesome. Though as he thought about that he also thought about jack he would miss jack jack was his only true friend that cared about him anytime he saw him, and he hoped that jack would still be his friend even years later. Though he fell asleep while listening to music on his headphones as his mother put her arm around him both sleeping until the flight was over.

Now getting out of the flight and arriving in New York he had a culture shock especially from the way the people talked or dress he was used to seeing people of his own race in his small town and wearing bleak clothes. Now here he is even just in an airport and so many different races and colors on clothes people are wearing he thought of it as so amazing he wanted to be able to express himself artistically like that too. Cupid feeling furious he went after the man but there's only so much an eleventh-year old boy can do not knowing what else to do because they didn't have the directions, they had to stay in the airport even though they already left, and all her stuff got stolen cupids mom knew if grandpa didn't see them come to him, he would eventually come there. "Mom I'm hungry "Said cupid" Don't worry well eat soon honey". Cupids' mom said as they both sat on the benches in the airport a kind old man appeared in front of them. "Well look who it is I'm just glad your both okay are you hungry let's go get something to eat. "Said grandpa. "Oh, it's so good to see you again dad "Said cupid's mom as she gave him a comforting hug. "Well and look who this must be this must be the big man huh".Said cupid's grandpa as cupid just silently sat on the bench just observing the man who claimed to be his grandpa dressed in clothes an old man would wear like a flannel some Cacy's and a Scarf he though wow, so this is what a grandparent is supposed to be then.
